I left something behind in my hotel room; a battery for my camera and its charger. I was taking a cruise from Miami and would be away for two weeks. After speaking with Yazdi Patel in hotel security, he was able to locate my items and informed me that I could pick them up when I returned. There was good communications through email regarding pick-up instructions therefore, once back at the hotel, I retrieved my items with little delay.
While the hotel is under construction and we did have to change rooms from some water temperature issues, the staff was amazing, friendly, patient and accommodating! Managers Kevin and Issac were both customer service oriented and willing to do whatever they could to make us happy to stay. We greatly appreciate their help and time to make our stay great! (Ps- get the VP SUITE! It’s AHMAZING) Now let’s talk about José Perez! The best bellmen ever! This silver fox had an incredible smile and went above and beyond to greet us, help us, give us advice and assure us that while we were there we weren’t just guests of Marriott, we were guests of his and there was nothing to big or small to ask him! From my Marketing Director angle I wish I had employees like José! Greeted with a smile, and eagerness to help us, after our interaction he pleasantly asked us to leave a review and handed me a card with easy instructions, creating a much more likely opportunity that I would in fact, take the time to review our experience. We are looking forward to retuning when they are finished renovations- from the pics it looks like the hotel will be gorgeous!…
Our newly renovated room had a spectacular view of the bay. I even was blessed to see two manitees! Jose Perrz was extremely helpful and so friendly. Everything we could possibly desire was in walking distance, through an awesome park, if you choose.
We arrived at 7am at the hotel.... way ahead of the check in time. We'd been up since 5am the previous morning so we were beat. The minute we walked in, the staff was so nice. Jose Perez is the bellman and securely stored our bags for us until we could check in. He even took us in a little later so we could change into our shorts. Then the desk clerk, Maria Scafuro, put our room on a priority cleaning schedule so we could get in before 4om. We did some walking around and she called at 10am to let us know the room was ready. The room is beautiful, clean, and recently updated. Beds are super comfy. There's a little market type place inside that offers food,clothing, jewelry, drinks.... everything. Next time we come to Miami we will definitely stay here again,! This hotel was great!!…
Marriot Biscayne Bay’s staff are excellent communicators, They are willing to listen and resolve any issues that guests may have. I think Marriott’s approach to helping guests is to assure that guests have a comfortable stay. A huge SHOUT OUT, THUMBS UP to Jose Perez for helping us with our luggage and securing an SUV for our luggage and us while we are on a cruise for a month. If you need help with luggage or transportation, call on Jose.
Stayed here before our Disney cruise. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Jose Perez the bellhop was awesome. The In mall restaurants were GREAT. Some did not look like much but lunch was really good. We had dinner at Primos. Great Italian restaurant, great ambiance, great place to meet. You will not be disappointed with your stay at this Marriott.
Bay view room was worth the extra points, but "At your Service" would not answer telephone. Poor check in experience for Marriott elite members. Few close dining options, A Publix market is a few block away. Would stay here again only if departing on a cruise,
Everyone was so friendly and the service was great! Especially Alberto! I went on a girls trip with one friend and he made sure we were safe every time we left and came back to the hotel. I would for sure come again

The Miami Marriot Biscayne Bay is our favorite hotel to use when we cruise out of Miami, and our past visit did not disappoint! We arrived early in the day and were greeted by Jose Perez who actually remembered us from a previous trip months earlier … wow! He grabbed our luggage and walked us over to the front desk for an early check in. I had called a few days before arrival to request a specific room with a view we like, however that room type was completely booked. Jose and the front desk employee (Lilieth, I believe) worked their magic and off we went to an even better room with Jose leading the way! We were so impressed with the customer service by both folks. It’s nice to return to a place that treats you like friends and family. In fact, we’ve already booked another stay even though we fly into Fort Lauderdale …. It’s just worth it!…
