The Pullman Miami Airport Hotel garners mixed feedback, with the shuttle service and amiable staff often earning praise, yet some guests experience delays and lackluster service. While the hotel's location is celebrated for its convenience to the airport and local hotspots, opinions on value are less favorable, with concerns over high costs for the offered amenities.
The property's rooms and communal spaces have their charms, such as spaciousness and cleanliness in certain areas, but outdated decor and maintenance issues have not gone unnoticed.

Detailed Reviews

Everything was great and we both loved the hotel. The decor, style and spaciousness of the hotel itself and the room was more than we expected. The chaise lounge was a good addition to the room and very comfy. The pool area looked wonderful and the views over the bay and the skyline was lovely. As the weather wasn't at its best the outdoor area was empty while we were there. Breakfast, included in the stay, was very very good. A good selection of hot and cold items, including make your own waffles and freshly squeezed orange juice. The service was top-notch. The airport shuttle was really convenient and ran on time every 30 minutes.
I would have given 5* but the only let down was how cold the hotel was. We tried lowering the AC but the room was still very cold and in the end had to turn off the AC and requested some blankets from reception. The hallways were extremely cold and going down to the bar/restaruant we noted all the other guests were sitting down to eat/drink with their coats on, some with scarves. Consensus was the hotel was far too cold and therefore quite uncomfortable.
Some of the items on the restaurant/bar menu are a bit more pricey than at other hotels of the same category we've stayed at but my Cajun shrimp taco was delicious and my husband had more chicken wings than he could eat - the portion was very generous.
The buttons for the lifts were missing so calling the lift required pushing your finger into an open "socket" - very difficult with long nails but not a big deal.

Hotel's Favourite
When in Miami, I always select this hotel. Due to the beautiful pool area, and the stunning lake views, the hotel has a relaxing, resort feel. The rooms are extremely spacious and comfortable with all possible amenities provided. The food at the downstairs bar is very good, and the buffet breakfast has great food choices. The hotel staff are efficient friendly and welcoming. The highlight of each stay for me is meeting the lovely Mr. Michel who has loyally worked as a server in the breakfast area for a number of years. He seems to remember every guest who has ever spent time at the hotel! He has a genuine, friendly manner and has an amazing smile whilst greeting diners. He really is the face of Pullman Hotel Miami Airport.

After an unpleasant experience at another hotel chain's Miami airport location it was a pleasure to deal with, and stay at, this hotel. Before we left home, and while we were at the airport, the phone was always answered promptly and cordially with the info we needed. The interior is lovely, and being able to have a meal and a drink at the bar was just what we needed when we arrived late in the evening. The shuttle system, in contrast with the other hotel, went perfectly also. I can't stress enough what a relief it was to arrive at this hotel, unpack, and begin to relax immediately.

Stayed at the Pullman Hotel for a business trip and was less than impressed the minute we arrived. The parking lot is always packed and there are always corporate events happening that make the place look like it is the place to be. Unfortunately, I wish I had never arrived there. The first room I received was so dark and dirty. There was a hole in the ceiling with a pipe sticking out of it above the shower, the bathroom countertops were coming apart from the wall, my bathroom towels had stains on them, and my bedsheets had stains on them as well. The carpet looked dirty, so I kept socks and shoes on at almost all times and there was thick dust on the desk in the room. I refused to shower in that room and when I went to the counter t later that day to request a new room the associate was very friendly and willing to assist. He advised me he would bring the new room key to me once it was ready. He shows up to the first room and immediately had an attitude and wanted to see the hole in the ceiling. I proceeded to show him the hole and he pretends he can't see it at first. This is a metal galvanized pipe with a ring around it, it's not a pin hole. Then when I point it very obviously out to him, he says, "that's not a hole that's just a scratch from where we were fixing the roof but if you just want a new room whatever." Mind you I am on the 3rd floor of a 14-floor hotel. He proceeds to move me to the 8th floor on the other side of the hotel for the remainder of my stay. Upon entering the room everything seemed clean, you can smell the bleach, countertops are connected to the wall, but the hole in the shower is also in this room as well. I contacted the other travelers with me to inquire if this is in their rooms also, and it was. So, for the remainder of my trip, I had to shove a towel in there to allow myself to shower in somewhat feel as I had privacy. The bed was awful and squeaked, the pillows were awful, and it was the worst night's sleep ever. Also, I realized when I booked this that it was an "airport" hotel. I have stayed frequently at airport hotels and never had issue. However, this was the exception to the rule. The windows are like paper, the smell of Jet fuel is extremely strong, and the building shakes when the plane flies in. The Jet fuel smell is not a light smell. Myself and my other travel companions staying in other rooms had bad migraines all day during the 3 days we stayed there. It was truly as if we were right on the fuel deck with the plane. Breakfast is also not included in the price of the stay, which is fine, however, for almost $30 a plate for breakfast it was definitely not worth it and we barely picked at our food. Eggs were cold, and also, we received incorrect items but had no time to wait for them to fix. Our parking was supposedly comped due to the issues we were having, but we were charged $30 a day anyway. The parking is also a mess, when I asked where to park, I was strictly told not to park in the employee parking, but rather to find a spot of dirt or grass and park there if there wasn't other parking available. I was not in an SUV but rather a very small compact car that did not fare well to that as an option, but we made do. All in all, Stay anywhere else, but this place is not worth your money!

We booked to stay in Pullman for 1 night between flights. My husband, preschooler and I landed at Miami airport and called Pullman to ask about the shuttle schedule. A lady at front desk answered, asked for my name and said "Expedia" changed our reservation, there was no room for us, and "Expedia" should have emailed. Well we didn't book via Expedia, which I tell the lady, and she repeated that our reservation isn't at Pullman. It's late in the evening and my tired preschooler is getting fussy. I received no emails nor calls about a change of reservation so I call Hotwire who we booked through, and they get in touch with Pullman management. Pullman tells Hotwire that due to a "maintenance issue" they moved a bunch of prepaid guests, including us, to another hotel. So the the story from front desk about "Expedia" changing the reservation was complete bs. What kind of front desk training is this? They had a "maintenance issue" that they knew about early in the day and they tried to pass it off as the booking company's fault. Pullman management tells Hotwire is that they'll send us to a comparable hotel because their "maintenance" issue meant there were no more rooms at Pullman. But get this...we have to go to Pullman 1st rather than straight to the alternate hotel so they can give us a voucher! More inconvenience and bs. We get to Pullman, they give us a voucher, and we go to the other hotel. Of course, this was even more bs...in the alternate hotel, the room was very worn and smelly. Tired from our journey, with an even more tired pre-schooler, we resentfully stayed for the night and headed back to the airport the next morning. This is the worst experience I've had with a hotel, and having worked in the hospitality industry at a management level, I've stayed in countless. We didn't even end up staying where we booked and paid for. We had a 2nd reservation at Pullman already booked in advance, so I called a few times to make sure the fiasco we experienced wasn't going to happen again. We actually stayed at Pullman this time and I will say that they should put as much effort into maintaining and updating their rooms as much as the public spaces. The public spaces in the hotel (lobby, pool, etc.) are much nicer and better maintained than the interior of the hotel rooms. Lipstick on a pig?

Booked a ‘Day Use’ room at this hotel as disembarked early morning from cruise ship & had an evening flight. Day of, the ‘Day Room’ rate was charged correctly but also the ‘Hold’ of $100 for any incidental charges incurred during the 9 hr stay (of which there were none) was charged in full to my CC & not released when I checked out.
That’s NOT a ‘hold’ - that’s a ‘charge’ of $100. I was told it will be credited back to my card in 5 DAYS! So they have use of my $100 for 5 days…is that even ethical??? (Or legal?)

I spent one night in this hotel December 19. I am Platinum Accor. This stay was a disaster.
1) nobody answered to my 3 emails asking about shuttle information.
2) nobody answered when I was at the Airport trying to join someone for the shuttle. So I had to pay for a taxi while I have chosen this hotel for the complementary shuttle.
3) I asked for a room with a view and not noisy and my room was on the parking slot just close to the lift.
4) this hotel is ranked as a 4 stars Accor but I showed many pictures to the reception with very bad conditions: painting in the bathroom falling, mirrors broken, faucet of the bathtub out of the wall, dark hair at many places etc. This room needs to be renewed urgently and cleaned very well.
5) the bar wasn't open at 10 PM to get the welcome drink offered to Accor Elite members and it was still closed in the morning. I never see that in a 4 stars hotel. I thank the man at the restaurant who tried to offer us something.
5) on the floor of the bed room and bathroom there were big worms. I took pictures and let the animal on the dresser. This worms are coming from the faucet of the bathtub which is completely destroyed.
I was agreed to pay 250 USD for such a stay. December 20 was my wife birthday. I hoped for a confortable stay and it was a very bad experience. I asked for the manager but nobody was present before 10:30 AL. The receptionist called him/her and the answer was "we apologized and I will be reimbursed on my AMEX".
Right now nothing has been credited on my AMEX.
I sent another email about that and still no answer.
This hotel isn't an Accor 4*, it's just an hotel closed to the Airport (as many) and which don't take care of customers.
My worst experience in an Accor Hotel in 2024.

There is nothing contemporary about this hotel. This hotel is not worth the money that you pay. I had a King room on the 14th floor with a water/city view. The room costs $232 plus $23 for parking. I was really looking forward to the hotel stay based on some of the reviews and pictures I've seen online. I was disappointed and uncomfortable. This hotel is very old and needs updating. When I opened the door to the guest room, it smelled like ben gay. The carpet is old and worn and needs to be replaced. The walls. doors, hallways, everything is old and has been painted and repainted. The guest room appeared to be large. But I noticed that there may have one time been a sofa in the room and now there is just a little round table sitting in that space. Most of the TV channels did not work. The bathroom was very dated. It had an older tub/shower combo. There were only enough towels for one person, one face towel, one bath towel, one hand towel. There was no snack bar or vending machine. The only place to eat was the restaurant and once they closed, we were told to order door dash or uber eats. Check-out is at 12pm. but housekeeping knocked on our door at 9am asking what time we were checking out. The bed was clean and okay to sleep in. There are a lot of more modern hotels in the area, and I would say to choose one of those. The most I would pay for a room at this hotel is $120 including tax. It's not worth a penny more. Also, they charged $100 dollar deposit and still have not returned the deposit. They have all the monetary business practices that you would expect to see at a 4-star hotel, but they do not deliver 4-star quality and service.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. Several issues made my experience very unpleasant:
- Despite an explicit request for cleaning, my room was not cleaned. This is unacceptable for an establishment of this category.
- There was absolutely no room service as advertised. I tried to order several times, without success. This is extremely frustrating and unbecoming of a 4 star hotel.
- I had given clothes to be washed which had to be returned within a specific time frame. Not only were they not returned on time, but no explanation was provided to me.
- It is almost impossible to reach anyone at reception. The phone rings without answer several times. When I tried to leave a message for the cleaning service, I discovered that the answering machine was full. So there was no way to communicate my needs.
Most worrying of all, I discovered cockroaches in my room. This is totally unacceptable and demonstrates a serious hygiene problem.
These cumulative problems greatly affected the quality of my stay. I would not recommend this hotel to other travelers.

This hotels value comes from the location and availability of the airport shuttle. We found the actual hotel similar to photos however the rooms were rundown vs what we would expect from a 4 star hotel. Staff were kind and we appreciated how close the hotel was to a small shopping center where we could get some food and another suitcase. Ps- the shuttle driver was amazing. Be sure to tip him.

Just outside the airport, there is an area for hotel courtesy buses - there are signs. You need to keep a lookout for the hotel bus, they are about every half hour. If you are a late arrival, there is nothing open at the hotel, no room service or mini bar. Hope this helps
