The Marlin hotel had its positives and negatives 1. Very small room and very expensive (maimi is expensive in general) 2. The breakfast selection was v poor for what you pay. It offered 3 cereals, eggs, cheese, ham, toast, coffee tea (only green tea and herbal which i was disappointed with 3. Beach towels in room i assumed would be...

We stayed one night here and I can't fault the location. 5 minutes from Ocean Drive and then another 5 minutes and you're on the beach. Loads of restaurants and bars within easy reach - but be prepared to pay Ocean Drive prices. The hotel itself is lovely and has all the normal trappings you'd expect from a luxury hotel....

From the minute you step through the door of this lovely hotel you know you will experience a touch of luxury. Our room (101) was large and spacious with gorgeous fluffy robes and slippers, quality bedding, a Nespresso coffee maker and divine smelling toiletries and was a very welcome sight after a long, long flight from the UK. A continental...

Located in the absolute centre of Art Deco District, 200m away from the beach but amazingly quiete inside. Highly motivated reception staff, willing to assist in all affairs. The Deluxe Suite offers everything you want. Top bed, beautiful bathroom, cosy lounge area with dolby surround TV. Breakfast continentel type and could offer a bit more sausages and cheese. The Marlin Hotel seems to be accruing some less than stellar reviews recently. I'm not sure what the negativity is about because my just concluded mid-week stay was amazing. Let me explain: Check-in was a breeze. It took five minutes from entering the facility until we were entering the room. The hotel is IMMACULATE. Our suite was large and very...

Just spent a couple of days in South Beach after a business trip further north. I remebered reading about the Marlin yesrs ago and was not dissapointed. A wonderful hotel, smaller and far more personable than expected, spacious and beautifully decorated rooms. The bar, terrace and restaurant were great - very authentic Italian food with nice American flourishes (and portion...

Collins ave is parallel to Ocean Drive. So getting to the beach is a five minute walk. The hotel is charming. The reception desk is small adding to the quaint ambience. More like the headmasters desk at school. What I require when I walk into a hotel is acknowledgement. Even though Nichole was busy with other customers she broke off...

Do not stay in this hotel if you care about a good night's sleep. The noise from the street was terrible and lasted all night. Not even a white noise app turned all the way up could drown it out. The blackout shades for the windows do not really reach the walls, letting in too much light which contributed to...
