From the moment we arrived on a stormy night in November the staff made us feel really welcome. Bedrooms are good and the piano bar is a great place to unwind with a cocktail (or two!) The hotel has it's own area on the beach which is included in the room rate. All the staff were lovely people, from the doormen, bar staff (Alex) and the concierge. Special mention to our waitress Joanny, great service with a happy smile. We would definitely recommend The Betsy

Top location. Mixture of modern and old style of the building. Live music. Free sun chairs and umbrellas. Friendly staff all over: pool, beach, bar, front desk. Many cool pictures of my favourite musicians Beatles, Rolling Stones. All over good flair. A little expensive at the weekend

This is a fabulous hotel with a buzz, small enough for it to give personal service, right in the thick of the art deco district, on the beach. There seem to be complimentary wines and nibbles in the lobby from time to time which was a very nice touch. We were upgraded to a suite, the extra space was welcome however there weren’t any views from any of the windows. Don’t stay anywhere else if you can afford it!

Wonderful hotel in a fantastic location. This gem was situated on the strip of Ocean Road, across from the beach, and near all the fun restaurants and bars. Given its location at the end of the strip, it was easy access to activities but a quieter home base. E-bike rentals available nearby to explore the path across the road, where you can bike miles along the shore. Definitely a return trip coming!

A stunning elegant and comfortable hotel at the quiet end of South Beach ,away from the crazy hustle and bustle. Fab roof top pool and delicious breakfast sitting out in front of ocean drive. Rooms spacious and huge bed super comfortable . Beach right across the road with good beach service if that’s your bag.

I've stayed at The Betsy a few times now and have always loved the experience. In fact, I purposely choose the Betsy over staying in other regions of Miami because of the service and treatment I received. However, my recent stay was extremely disappointing. I stayed for the weekend, visiting friends in Miami. The front desk staff, Siddarth, was dismissive and actually talked up the hotel where he worked previously. The service received from the bar staff was poor. We were enjoying visiting on the comfortable couches and chairs with friends but could not get anyone to serve us. When we went to the bar to order drinks for our group, it took an extended period of time to place the order (the area was not very busy). The server did bring the drinks to us but never returned to check on us. When we asked for our bill, there was already 20% tip included. In my opinion, this was asking for tip on a service that was simply not provided. I would write it off as a one time occurrence but it happened both evenings. That being said, Juan was fabulous and accommodating and kind as always. After this recent experience, I'm not sure I would choose The Betsy in the future which makes me sad. …

We loved the atmosphere, attention to detail and customer service of the Betsy. We come to Miami Beach often, but this was our first stay. The staff was incredibly gracious, in particular Evans was like a family friend, with a warm smile, he helped us several times during our stay. We plan to make the Betsy our new “go to” destination when visiting MB.

We had a lovely stay at The Betsy. Due to the weather warning we didn't get to enjoy the pool area but the hotel - our room itself was lovely. Very stylish and luxurious! We'll definitely come back again in the future.
