Pluses: 1. Location - on the 21 st St. beach access. Essentially "on" the beach. 2. View - our cheap Priceline rate got us partial ocean view. 3. Across the street from public library - free pass for internet access. 4. 1 block from Bass Art Museum. 5. 4 or 5 blocks from convention center (6 minute walk). 6. 5...

After reading the numerous negative reviews, I was scared to stay here. I was pleasantly surprised when given a balcony room on the 7th floor that overlooked the beach. Yes, the hotel could use a renovation to the rooms, however, their was no musty odor, bugs or a feeling of being unclean. The location is outstanding. The staff friendly and...

We stayed one night - Feb 13th. We booked 2 rooms and one did have what appeared to be mold/mildew on the ceiling - but it was recently sprayed over with new paint - positive! The other did have mildew in the corner of one bathroom under the sink but since I would have had to crawl down on the...

Thought I should make people aware if using your Visa to pay for hotel that myself and other travelers in our group were charged twice for the hotel. As stated in other reviews this hotel is perhaps a little below average but considering the location and price it is okay. As to wether I would recommend this hotel it would...

Lobby is gorgeous, everything else is horrible! We got a handicapp room out back near the pool area, the room was huge but was loaded with spider cobb webbs and spiders actually living in them, the floor carpeting was soaking wet all over (mold?), the beds were hard as a rock and old as the hills, the beds creaked very...

Let me preface this by saying two things. A. It was Super Bowl Weekend. B. My company put me up here because the rest if the area was booked out. The room as in terrible shape. Worst I have ever stayed in. The roof leaked. The carpet was sticky. The bathroom dirty. The whole place smelled like my Grandmother’s wet...

Before arriving at this hotel, we already knew it would be bad. We all brought our own sheets, extra socks and towels. The hotel smelled like mold and mildew. I gagged the minute I walked into my room. To top off the awful accomidations a woman was beat up on a floor in front of guests. This hotel is supposidly...

this place was a dump the minute you get on the elevators that were not steady. Once you step on to any floor you want to turn around from the smell, worn and stained carpet and dented doors to each room. I need to stress that the location was perfect which is why we stayed 3 nights. It walking distance...

OMG, what a dump! The hotel has been beat to pieces, however, it is oceanfront! If you want a great location in South Beach for the cheapest price, this is probably the best one. Bring lots of socks or flipflops, you don't want to be barefoot on the filthy rugs. The beds suck and the bathrooms are appalling. The best...
