Hotel Trouvail Miami Beach is often celebrated for its charming and cozy vibe, with many guests enjoying the picturesque pool area and the hotel's overall cleanliness. While the rooms are generally found to be comfortable and funky, some guests have noted drawbacks such as noise issues and peculiar layouts. The friendly staff frequently receives compliments, though the value of a stay here is sometimes questioned due to additional charges like parking and resort fees. Despite some criticisms of certain amenities, the hotel's proximity to the beach remains a strong draw for travelers.

Clean, bright, retro style, quite funky and nice! Overall quality of the room was great! Bright lighting with dimming capability, a queen size bed with a comfortable and well constructed mattress that allowed my light-sleeper spouse to continue sleeping even when I would get in and out of bed. Only downer was a less than adequate sound barrier of our bedroom head wall that allowed us to hear the incessant snoring of our neighbor in the next room on our first night there. Heard nothing from our neighbors all subsequent nights.

A kitchenette with a retro style microwave and fridge and a complimentary Nespresso machine (with pods) in the room. Large bathroom with a rain style shower head but with no hand wand

The staff were warm, attentive and the main young gal at the front desk was a real star! Sorry we didn't get her name. She made the place feel hip and happening, warm and caring. Felt like I was back in a hotel in wine country (Sonoma Valley) California.

Complimentary bicycles were great too! Reasonably priced lot parking at the hotel was another valuable perk, especially considering how central and ideal the location is in Miami Beach!

Overall a great stay and looking to return!

A 3-night stay for a weekend getaway that ended up being one of the strongest guest experiences at a hotel. What attracted me to this place was the chic boutique vibe, price, and impressive guest reviews. However, after my stay I will confidently say Nadeev and Kenneth (who manage the hotel) ran away with the show and should be recognized as the “X factor” behind why I’ll be coming back.

The coordination of having a florist decorate the room before my arrival (for my gf’s birthday), complimentary drop-off/pickup butler service to the beach & cooler to keep our champagne cold, timely room service & fulfilling special requests of the sort (like almond milk for my gf’s coffee), management being accessible by text, rooms were very clean, bedding was comfortable and luxurious, pool/beach towels were placed in the room at default, the pool was kept spotless, last-minute approval for late checkout, and never hearing the word “no” all helped create an incredible experience at a really affordable price. Book it.

When I travel alone I have three criteria: Safety, proximity to food and activities and cleanliness of the hotel! Palihouse meets my criteria. I always do my research before I lay my head on a pillow or hang my clothes in a closet of a “home away from home”. I read reviews from several different sites before making a well thought out final decision.

Palihouse's website is eye-catching! I love the decor of the hotel and I happily watched many of the engaging videos. The soundtrack was so enticing that I remember dancing while booking my room. I even downloaded some songs to my playlist. The pre-selection process was easy, exciting, fun and persuasive.

Once I arrived at the hotel I was greeted warmly by a handsome and professional looking representative. His name nor position mattered at this point because His demeanor and smile was extremely welcoming.
I appreciated this guy allowing me “a perfect stranger” to vent for the first couple of minuteS because I had THEE WORST experience at the airport car rental department and an even more challenging drive from FLL to the hotel. But he listened calmly, patiently and attentively.

Kenneth, my warm welcome and new best resource was everything a solo traveler could desire from a front desk representative(who I later discovered was the Front Office Manager)! He was informative, witty, caring and intuitive. After I finally dragged myself, bags and weight of the travel day to my room I received a call from Kenneth and shortly thereafter a bottle of wine was delivered to my room. It almost brought me to happy tears. The weight was lifted and I was able to start the first of 4 days in what I hoped to be a slice of Palihouse, Miami paradise! It was!

Talk about above and beyond! He simply wanted to be proactive in helping a guest change their gloomy day into a positive one. Kenneth was very good at assuming what needs I needed as a solo traveler. He was very proactive in giving recommendations.

Choose this hotel if you desire less common area foot traffic, beautiful decor photo opportunities, gated parking, 5 min walk or swagged out golf cart escort to Semi-private beach, clean quarters, excellent and quick guest service.

Special thanks to:
Nadeev, for responding to my review on the hotel's website in a timely and assuring manner.
Delia, for expedited facilities issues and follow up.
Tommy, for after hours support and equipping me with beach gear.

*Keep in mind that we are in a pandemic and some services were not available:
Lobby Bar(Drinks can be ordered from room app)
Greenbrier Swim & Social
Construction on Front side entrance(State issue)
If there are any inconveniences, the staff will not hesitate to accommodate immediately!

Nonetheless, I had a memorable experience and am so looking forward to returning!

Pros: Interior is beautiful and very design-forward. Nice selection of decent priced items available for purchase in the room, such as sunscreen, snacks, and beverages. We particularly appreciated the clothing rack to hang our clothes on, which was very functional and saved time. The Diptique products in the shower were a nice touch, however, the fragrance is a little cloying (not for everyone). Location is good, you get a nice view of the creek and it is away from the bustling South Beach yet not far if you wish to go down.

Cons: The bed is very soft, and if you weren’t used to a soft bed, you may wake up with back pain. The shower has great water pressure, however, it took a while for it to get warm. And now for the reasons I would hesitate to stay here again… 1: The service is suboptimal. Before my stay I received an email from the hotel saying I could contact them for any arrangements I needed prior to my stay. So I emailed the hotel asking for advice about local excursions and some questions regarding the surrounding areas and hotel amenities. I received no response even after a follow-up. There are not enough staff, which I can sympathize with; however, housekeeping is not consistent and also left a whole roll of waste bin liners and flat sheet in our room one day, and the other day we simply did not receive housekeeping at all, despite hanging the “please clean my room” sign outside on our door. Ironically, when I had put the “do not disturb” sign on the door, they knocked anyways and then when I said “can you come back later please?” they knocked again, and I had to come to the door in a robe. We also requested towels, only to be given them 5 hours later after we had asked for them again.

More cons: Palihouse advertised a “Beach Butler” who will take you round trip to the beach with beach chairs and umbrella, and that was included in the $30/day resort fee. This was mentioned during booking and again after booking in a confirmation email. We decided to stay at this hotel instead of a similarly priced similarly appointed hotel because of this. We arrived to find out that you will be your own Beach Butler. When we asked the front desk for the service, they seemed confused about it at first. When we further explained and described what the website itself said, they informed us that the Beach Butler‘s vehicle was non-functional at the moment, and that we could carry our own chairs and umbrella down to the beach. We did this, and found that the chair

Palihouse - Miami Beach is very cute and stylish with great accommodations and amenities. My boyfriend and I spent four nights here (with our best friend coco - they are dog friendly!) to celebrate my birthday. The pool area is gorgeous, clean and relaxing; there was also a poolside bar. The restaurant was closed because of covid, but the dining area on the patio looked nice and the limited room service menu was still satisfying. We were able to use the complimentary beach butler service that drove us out to a nice quiet area of the beach and set up chairs and an umbrella for us — they also picked us up and drove us back to the hotel. The hotel is only about two blocks from the beachfront, but having someone drive us out there with the umbrella & chairs was an amazing perk! Kenneth at the front desk was so incredibly helpful and accommodating for my birthday trip, he upgraded our room from the Queen Studio with a balcony to the King Studio with a balcony and sent complimentary Prosecco up to the room upon arrival! He gave great recommendations on local places to visit and always had helpful information about the Covid updates in Miami-Dade. They have a tablet next to the bed that allows you to order room service, other amenities, and even request housekeeping. The tablet also has information tabs on local activities, spas, etc.. Antonio who worked in the afternoon at the front desk was also incredibly accommodating and helpful. We checked out at 11 but our flight wasn’t until 8pm, so they stored our luggage and we spent the day by the pool and beach. I inquired about showers after we returned from the beach and Antonio opened up a room for us to shower and clean up before our flight! Overall the architecture, decor, amenities and hospitality were superb. 10/10 I would recommend this hotel to friends and we will definitely stay here on our next Miami Beach trip! Special thanks to Kenneth and Antonio for being so wonderful and the rest of the Palihouse staff for making our trip so special.

We truly loved our stay at Palihouse because the staff, particularly Daniel & Florian at the front desk, were so friendly and helpful will check-in/check-out and recommendations in the area. The food & drinks were amazing (kudos to the chef who was grilling by the pool), and we thought the overall premises were lovely, great location, and good value. We loved taking the bikes out too. Especially during covid, we appreciated the cleanliness and small / intimate experience of the hotel compared to some of the other huge resorts you find in Miami. Absolutely recommend Palihouse!

Palihouse was just great for a 2 day break in Miami Beach. I have stayed at many places in South Beach in this hotel is a very welcome addition. It's a perfect little hideway and a real gem.

First of all, it's new so everything is very clean and in great condition. It's a classic small art deco hotel (formerly the Greenview) that has been fancifully reimagined and updated for new generations. It is extremely photogenic, as evidenced by the fashion photo shoot that was taking place there one morning, and it is Instagram ready! The location in the Faena district is good, with several luxury hotels within a few blocks (Faena, The Miami Edition). The beach itself is only a block and a half away and easily walkable. However, the hotel's Beach Butler service will whisk you there in minutes in a cute little "Moke" vehicle loaded with beach chairs, umbrella and chilled water. I really liked the section of beach they took me to as it was spacious and uncrowded.

The room was very charming and had a full size vintage design refridgerator. The walls were a bit thin, but fellow guests were respectful so it wasn't really a problem. The beautiful little pool was a lush oasis and it was a pleasure to have coffee there in the morning and drinks in the evening.

The hospitality and service was great. I felt very welcome and the staff made an effort to make sure every need was met. Thatt kind of customer care makes Palihouse a standout in the Miami area. I am so glad I found Palihouse and it will be a pleasure to visit again on future trips.

is quaint. It is walking distance to the beach. Bus stop to South Beach is also very close. There is a Starbucks close by. For lunch or dinner, take the bus to go to South Beach/Lincoln Road. I suggest to use the bus instead of Uber in the daytime. We visited very nice Faena Hotel which is 5 mins walking distance— had breakfast $$$ there. staff is friendly. The place is clean. Small Parking on site is available for $25 a day. Room is equipped with small refrigerator & microwave. I suggest to bring some disposable cups, plates, cutlery since none is provided except for a couple of cups. Overall, I recommend Palihouse.

My friend and I stay at Palihouse over New Years and let me tell you, it was way better than expected. The staff were extremely responsive to our questions and requests, and I actually felt like the staff got to know us while we were staying there. The room was very clean with a fully stocked mini fridge, balcony looking over the waterway and bathrobes, and sticking to the mid century modern theme of the entire hotel. We made use of the service that brought us to the beach with umbrellas, towels and beach chairs. The driver, Kenneth was incredibly sweet and made sure that we knew all of the best places to go. I would highly recommend Palihouse if you want something that’s a little more secluded and attentive to your visit.

If you are looking for a fun and retro hotel to stay in Miami Beach Palihouse is it. It was a very cool Deco style hotel with funky decorating and great amenities. The pool area was fabulous and very well kept, no outside bar because of COVID, but still a blast. The unit had a kitchenette (fridge / microwave, Nescafe) which was great to keep food to have breakfast and light meals or leftovers. they have secure on-site parking for $25 a night which is great in Miami Beach. The stand out amenity was the beach butler service. You called down and they shuttle you to the beach in a retro golf cart and set you up with chairs and umbrella. You do nothing they do all the set up and transport, wonderful perk - on North Beach with small crowds! The location is ideal, north enough from the crazy of South Beach but within a lovey 20-30minute walk to enjoy the crazy...
