There are not enough words to explain the sumptuousness and comfortable elegance you are treated to as a guest at Faena. Their holistic approach to relaxation and community is in paralleled. While every area was wonderful, standouts were Los Fuegos and the Spa. Their staff is magnificent and know how to care for your every whim. Thank you Solange for the welcome and checking!

Stepping into Faena is like stepping into a true oasis. Every detail blends to create such a serene getaway. The gorgeous views and perfect location are almost mum compared to the actual decor and artistry that lay within the walls of the historic hotel. The 40’s Art Deco style is very well maintained and enhanced from everywhere to the walls to the hallways to the guest rooms. I can’t imagine the creativity of blending 80 year old architecture and putting a modern twist, and Faena has done it flawlessly. I highly recommend staying here for a special weekend with a loved one or a family vacation. And if you enjoy great food and views, I highly recommend stopping by to dine at Pao or Los Fuegos!
The service was absolutely wonderful and each staff member left you with an afterthought of kindness following each conversation. One staff member, Jason, went above and beyond. He was so helpful, kind and informative! He went out of his way to greet us each morning and even popped down to see us on the beach to make sure we had all that we needed. An employee like that, who connects with the guests and creates memorable experiences for them throughout their stay, is what takes a “great hotel in Miami Beach” and catapults it up to the “best hotel in Miami Beach”. If you go, he’s the friendly face that opens the door and welcomes you into the Faena. If you start up a friendly conversation, I promise it won’t be your last!

After making the mistake of trying a different hotel on the beach (which we checked in and then checked out of when we saw the room) we called the Faena, explained our situation, and asked if they had room for us at the inn. Not only did they say yes, they offered their lowest rate on a corner ocean view using the pay in advance model. I had never thought of that. The hotel is spectacular. The staff is among the best in the business. It’s located mid-beach so you really can get anywhere you want quickly. It’s beach is a bit of an island so you’re not surrounded by crowds and yes, there’s full food and beverage service in the sand. Once you stay here you’ll really understand why there’s no need to stay anywhere else. In fact, we liked it so much we extended our stay. Thanks Faena! We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Eric was so helpful during me and my girlfriend’s staycation. The amenities were amazing and so clean. Initially we were worried about staying at a hotel during these times but the Faena cleared all of our concerns. The rooms were so clean that you could eat off the floor and all of the common areas were continuously sanitized. This is a bucket list hotel and everyone should stay here given the chance.

The Faena is a 5* beachfront hotel located in the heart of South Beach.
The oceanfront hotel features an outdoor pool, private beach, different restaurants, a lounge where they play live music, South American inspired spa and fitness Center.
The rooms aren’t very spacious, however they offer a great panoramic view over the city or the beach. Moreover they are nicely decorated and relatively new.
The staff however isn’t very friendly and welcoming, actually it has taken the longest time I have personally experienced to receive things in the room. The service could and should definitely improve.
Despite having asked to put a second coffee cup (since we were 2 people in the room) and not just two cups’ saucers repeatedly everyday for over a week they still managed to not do it. This is just one silly example of the many things they should fix. When you pay over $1000 per night customer service/care should be of the highest priority.
The breakfast is quite pricy if not included in the room’s package and not really worth it. However the food at the poolside restaurant is delicious. I strongly advise to try the Sunday buffet they have! It was unbelievably good.
Overall, it’s great hotel in a good location with great features.
I personally have mixed feelings about it. Having stayed at most of the hotels on South Beach I would say that the hotel is nice but the service doesn’t match the price they charge.

This hotel is gorgeous with its art work, colors and decor. The staff was very friendly when we arrived. They even gave us a complimentary cookie basket once we got to the room.
Pros:
Food at Los Fuegos was 5 stars.
Staff makes you feel welcomed
Nice beach service
Do yourself a favor and go across the street to Gitano’s, another great place to eat
Clean rooms/ bathrooms. Being that this hotel is on the beach I’m surprised you don’t find a speck of sand on the floors or any furniture
But it’s all in the details:
1) In the pool area and beach waiters don’t go around asking if you need a drink or food. Even with the flag up you have to hunt them down
2) Took about 40 minutes to get chips, guacamole and an orange juice ($107 total for that lunch?)
3) room did not have an iron or hair dryer. I know this hotel caters to celebrities and rich people who probably have their own hair stylist and do dry cleaning. But even with dry cleaning you need an iron sometimes. We called the front desk and they provided both.
4) the shower hose was broken. Water came out both ways
5) one of the pillows seemed wet, looks like they tired to spray it with some perfume but just soaked it.
6) not the hotels fault but construction all down the street
7) when reviewing the final Bill, I noticed they charged us for someone else’s lunch. They fixed this by crediting my card.
8) TV wasn’t able to stream from phone. The wifi kept picking up the TV signal in the cabanas and not the one in the room
Don’t get me wrong, despite these things I still had a relaxing and beautiful time. But I want to give an honest review.

I recently stayed here over the Halloween weekend. It was my first stay at this property and I was super impressed. The resort itself is gorgeous. I used the pool which is beautiful. The beach area designated for the hotel was roped off for the resort was breath taking. The water is warm like a bath and the sand is super fine and inviting. It was not over crowded so you were able to enjoy it while social distancing. There were pretty people a plenty and great energy. The service at the beach was exceptional. Wonderful choices for beverages as well as cuisine. I had my hair blow dried at the salon and the owner did a wonderful job. He was able to get my curls to stay despite the humidity. The housekeepers kept my room looking flawless. A group of friends went to Los Fuegos for dinner one of the first nights and the live music and ambiance added to the delicious food. Any request I made was met with attention to detail. Room service was amazing! I made an off menu request which they happily accommodated. On the whole, a five star experience at a time when the hotel was not fully staffed. I highly recommend this property and will definitely stay with them again in the near future. Quality style and excellence, you can’t go wrong staying here!

We celebrated my husband birthday at Faena for a quick weekend getaway. It was anything short of extraordinary. The entire team at Faena made us feel special. From our arrival greeted by Alton that took us to our accommodation walking us thru the amenities in the room while being personal and attentive, to Sebastian at the desk helping with various questions we had, Ernesto the amazing driver of the house car that took us to one of our dinner, Ariana that checked us out with a smile on her face after having to deal with difficult guest to Steven guest service manager that helped us stay dry, the team genuinely care for their guests.
The location of the property is ideal far away from the craziness of South Beach in the Faena district but close enough with a short walk or Uber to the middle of the action. The beach is the best in all hotels in the corridor with extra wide secluded and not on top of each other loungers while scenic with the rocks to limit erosion.
Do yourself a favor and stay at Faena on your next stay in Miami.

Faena Hotel Miami is a disaster! The management is terrible.
First, the hotel is short staffed at the beach even though it’s high season. Second, the housekeeping was lacking. Every time we asked for something, it took an hour or longer to receive. Third, to top everything off, the living room bar, the only bar in the hotel with music, sells tables on the side to non-guests who are willing to pay so they can join the scene at the hotel, instead of letting their hotel guests, who are spending a fortune staying here, have tables. This is ridiculous. Fourthly, the hotel staff is completely uneducated and some don’t even speak English.
Fifth, the food is a disaster. We were here for 4 days and during that that time, the restaurant at the beach was out of 3 of the 6 dishes they offer every single day. Sixth, even though the hotel claims it is non-smoking, they sell cigars on the beach but only if purchased with expensive rum. In my opinion, this hotel is overpriced and my whole experience here was very frustrating! I would not recommend anyone spend a dime here!!!!!! This place is a complete rip-off and a joke!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Unique097345, Thank you for sharing your feedback and we are deeply sorry for your experiences during your last stay that were short of perfection. We take all of our guest feedback very seriously and use it to look into each situation to find room for improvement for our guests. In regards to our staffing levels, we can assure you that we maintain an appropriate level of employees in each department. If you felt that we didn’t have enough team members to provide attentive and outstanding service, we apologize and have brought this to the attention of our pool & beach management team. Our Living Room Lounge unfortunately has limited space and is open to the public. When the space in the lounge reaches capacity, our hotel guests always have priority and will be seated as soon as the space allows. We apologize for the wait you previously experienced and our Living Room Lounge Team is always looking at new and dynamic ways to reserve and seat the lounge. We would love for you to give us a second chance and the ability for us to turn around your previous experience. Please do not hesitate to contact us directly at the hotel to arrange a future stay or to discuss anything that you would like! Sincerely, Alicia Kwiatkowski Guest Recognition Manager

My girlfriends and I took a trip to Miami for President's Day/Valentine's Day Weekend and had an absolutely wonderful experience. We are a well traveled group and have had the pleasure to experience different hotels and locations and thought The Faena was top rated. There were a few specific staff members that provided exceptional service that we felt deserved special recognition. Kashan - the reservations manager is nothing short of incredible. He took such great care of us and made sure that my girls and I had a memorable first experience. Axel was so sweet and caring during each of our breakfasts' every morning and our dinner at Los Fuegos on Valentine's Day. Andra at the pool was very sweet and accommodating to us and even personally made our beverages so we could go back to our beach spot in a timely manner. Ray, Filipe, and David on the beach took extra care of us as well. They literally never let us lift a finger when we were getting situated on the beach both days we went. The hotel itself is very clean, beautiful and so interesting with all of the art. I will definitely be returning again. I thought location was great and the immediate beach access was even better! The food was superb and I'm dying for the Burlesque shows to reopen so we can spend the evening in their theater. Thank you again to all mentioned above and those not mentioned that helped our weekend be unforgettable!

Definitely I recommend Faena, not only in terms of coffee and room service but for everything that your stay need to be perfect.
Faena is extraordinary amazing resort.
Absolutely! "Gone But Not Forgotten" is open to the public.
I just saw the 1 pool and Faena was very pleasantly quiet and peaceful, not crowded at all! I had no trouble getting a chair and I was just there this past weekend.
unable to get a room, even at the busiest times. that said, sometimes rates are higher at particularly popular travel times, or when there are big events in Miami, of which there are an ever-increasing number. I'd stay in touch with the actual Faena Miami Beach website, and check all of the travel sites ... and I'd call or email. It's a great place ... it's worth the effort, in my humble opinion.
