I stayed at the Raleigh the week before Christmas. I was there for work so I didn't get to take advantage of all of the amenities they have to offer. That said, The Raleigh is a unique and beautiful gem. I travel often for work and I have noticed there is a sea of sameness among the many hotel chains...

While pulling up to the property it looks like the entrance of a nice home The rooms are ok, but the backyard so to speak is to die for, loungers embedded in the pools, private Cabanas, a private entrance to the beach , hammocks. They even have a humongous dance fllor.

The Raleigh is about history, integrity, charm, self-assurance and patina. If you want glitz, acres of marble, loud music and disco lights, consider staying somewhere else. Instead of easy flash and glam, the Raleigh offers a quiet appeal, comfortable 1940s tropical-inspired rooms, a slightly "shabby chic" lobby, a classic cocktail bar with old-fashioned professional bartenders, one of the very best...

We have been staying at the Raleigh for many years and although the staff sometimes turn over we are always met with the warmest of welcomes and treated wonderfully. I live in Manhattan and nip down with my family whenever we can. Fernando on the concierge is absolutely lovely and attentive in just the right way. The hotel is a...

We stayed at the hotel for three days and enjoyed our stay. I can see that some people think it is too expensive but it's South Beach and everything is expensive there and I expected the drinks and food to be over priced. However, I do think $9 for a bottle of water in your room, $25 per day for...

Dear roger52017, Thank you for the nice 4 star review and understand why we fell short of that 5 star you may have expected due to some of the cost throughout the hotel. I wanted to explain the value in some of our amenities as we remain highly competitive with the other properties in the market. Valet parking is not...

Great location, beautiful pool, pretty nice lobby area (except for the bleak reception staffed with minimum-effort non smiling receptionists). But then you get into the lift and the disappointment starts builing up. Keeping a hotel in the art deco essence is a great idea as long as it only applies to the decor. But when the level of maintenance makes...

Dear totalhoteladdict, I am so very sorry you stay was… well not up to expectations. We are very proud of the rich Art Deco history our property has and as well, recognize that there are certain elements that can be refreshed, however the property is maintained in the most pristine manner. Resort fees is for more than just towels and...

I can't think of a classier and more classic Miami Beach Hotel. It has kept the original charm and design inside and outside, and it is quite unique in this regard, even in South Beach. The lobby is beautiful, including the Martini bar and the coffe bar, all in style. The pool is amazing, as well as the lush surroundings...

We chose the Raleigh for its Art Deco history and perfect location. It was a treat. Our room was comfortable and clean. We had a view overlooking the pool and the the ocean which made the stay even better. The hotel has a good restaurant out by the pool. There are a couple of bars by the pool as well....

Dear Shänna S, I am so happy to read when our guest truly appreciate all The Raleigh has to offer. This is a great classic hotel. The hotel and rooms are in the Art Deco, mid-century modern style. Frankly, the rooms could use an updating, but still a wonderful place with good service and a terrific location, restaurant and pool.

Overall we had a good stay. I love the retro vibe of this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were great but overpriced. Maybe not overpriced for Miami but in general yes. I paid $12 for two cups of regular coffee in the restaurant. The hotel rooms were clean, neat and inviting. I thought the...
