On October 24, 2016 my husband and I booked a weekend getaway at the Adora Inn for November 4 thru the 6. After reading all of the positive reviews we couldn't wait to visit the Adora Inn. During the early morning hours of October 29, 2016 my husband, who is a Deputy Sheriff, was assisting an injured motorist in the...

We appreciate constructive feedback. We work very hard to provide professional and genuine customer service as evidenced in the over whelming majority of our reviews. Our policies are well within industry standards. If someone does not agree with them they can simply choose not to book with us. However, once they do a contract is formed and regardless of the...

The Adora Inn in Mount Dora, FL is a fabulous place to spend a weekend or perhaps even longer. Arthur and John, your hosts are the epitome of gracious. The Inn is a classic example of a bed-and-breakfast. All of the rooms are very different, offering a style that is an eclectic mix of contemporary with antique as well as...

Hi, Our style is an eclectic mix of contemporary with fine modern art & antiques no dolls, frilly pillows and potpourri here. We realize that is not for everyone but we're glad you enjoyed it. We strive to be different (in good way) to set ourselves apart from the rest and to make your getaway something special to remember. Hope...

We stayed here for our 19th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful experience. The property is a fully restored 3 story (duplex) building from the early 1900s. The proprietors did an extensive amount of research into the history of Mt. Dora and the property itself before embarking on their restoration, and by changing things ever so slightly they turned a...

Hi, Thank you for the wonderful review. Our old house is one of a kind thats for sure. And the attic room's are some of the most popular even though we think each one has its own special quality. Some people love the deep soaking tubs in those rooms and then their are some who prefer a standing shower. Some...

We arrived friday, Sept 30th and were greeted by Arthur. He gave a quick run of the place and showed us our room. We selected the Camel Room and glad we did. It was on the darker side of the house to make mornings to gently waken us. Breakfast is the best part of our by far. The hosts no...

Thanks so much. As you mentioned the Camel room is on the darker side of the house. The beautiful Campfor tree that hangs over the house on the northside makes for a great rest. However, if you prefer a bright room or just something in between we have that too. Looking forward to seeing you again.

I recently stayed at the Adora Inn and it was worth every penny! We stayed in the treehouse room which was at the very top of the inn, lots of privacy, and a beautiful bath tub. The owners were very hospitable and joined us for breakfast - we had great conversations and incredible food. Although the restaurants in the area...

Glad you enjoyed Dinner at the Inn, it is something different that we can offer our guests that no other B&B can do in Mt.Dora. We're both trained professional chefs so we love food and love sharing it with our guests. See you next time.

This was our first visit to Mount Dora. The Adora Inn B&B was the perfect setting for a nice relaxing weekend. The home is very clean and comfortable as was our room, the Vanilla Room. The bed was quite comfortable with amazing linens. Bottled water in the room to greet arriving guests is a nice, easy to do touch that...

Hello and thank you for the wonderful review. Your "we care" comment is so incredibly nice because we do care. Yes, we are big dog lovers too and maybe to our detriment. That being said "guests come first" so we always check to make sure everyone is comfortable before allowing them to mix. Even as our pooches are hypoallergenic we...

We stayed for 2 days, and had a blast! The bed was comfy, and the bathroom had nice hot showers. The inn keepers really served up a very yummy breakfast! The food was delicious, and they made so much we couldn't eat it all. We had good conversation with the other people staying at the inn and the inn keepers...

Looking for a couple of relaxing days close to home and we found it at the Adora Inn. First, kudos to John and Arthur for their hospitality and providing such a wonderful home feel. Arthur and John are incredible hosts. When making the reservation we requested a paleo diet restriction. They called in advance for clarification and then went above and beyond research and preparing a paleo breakfast of almond porridge, fresh fruit and sausage. So glad you loved your Paleo breakfast. As classically trained chefs its always fun to learn to cook in a different way. That was an adventure for us and we learned allot. The best part was that it tasted good too..lol. We're happy your romantic weekend turn out for the best. Come see us again sometime.

We absolutely loved staying at the Inn. John and Arthur were great hosts. The location was within walking distance to downtown so it was convenient to stroll through the shops anytime. Breakfast was both amazing with the food and entertaining with the conversation. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider it again.
