After 10 years in Florida, we finally discovered this unique B&B located in downtown Mount Dora during our visit for the SPRING FESTIVAL last weekend. Great room and personalized attention to all guests. Breakfast was excellent. Looking forward to our next weekend stay at this B&B.

We had a wonderful time at the Mount Dora Historic Inn. The room was very comfortable ( we stayed in Dick's room) the breakfast was really yummy , the baked apple was the best I ever had! The location of the Inn is really fabulous, literally on the edge of town. Melanie left water and cookies out for the guests...

My wife and I recently stayed with another couple at the Historic Mount Dora Inn. It's a beautifully maintained inn that decades ago was the office of a local physician. There are only 4 bedrooms in the main building, which makes breakfast an intimate experience. Our room-- Dick's room; we highly recommend it-- was spacious and nicely appointed with a...

We recently stayed at the Inn. The property is spotless and both Inn keepers that we encountered were very welcoming, accommodating and helpful. The location and ample parking cannot be beat. The breakfasts are delicious. They are also leisurely taking up to an hour for the meal and visiting with other guests. I am reviewing not to just be critical....

We are already making plans to return to this wonderful home -away-from home, comfy and quint historic inn. First of all, what makes this inn so charming is that there are just four rooms.... two on the first floor and two on the second floor. When you are greeted by the wonderful managing innkeeper Melanie, you get the immediate impression...

The Mt. Dora Historical Inn is a sheer delight. It is close to the quaint downtown area which is home to some wonderful shops and great restaurants. The beautiful lake is a short walk away. The Inn (a B&B) is well maintained. Our room was well decorated, clean, quiet, sizable, and the queen size bed was oh, so comfortable. The...

This B&B was great! Melanie the inn keeper was so attentive to our needs. The room was perfect with a king bed and a private bath. My favorites - the fluffy white towels, the comfy bed and amazing french toast for breakfast. We were able to walk downtown and to the lake.

This B&B is right in downtown Mount Dora, less than 1 or 2 blocks to all the restaurants and bars etc. My room was nice and comfortable and I slept great. It is an old historic house with lots of character, but also has some modern amenities like wifi and decent cable tv. I will hopefully stay here again soon.

This was our second visit to the inn. Melanie went out of her way to make us comfortable, recommended activities and restaurants in town, and even made reservations for us. She truly is the hostess with the "mostest"! We hope to visit with her again many more times throughout the years. The breakfasts were so delicious and she never steered...
