I have visited this resort twice before. It is in a great location, near Tin City in Naples, Florida. On my previous visits I have always stayed at the Naples Bay Resort Hotel. This time, unbeknown to me and perhaps due to my own oversight or lack of attention, I find myself in a “cottage” at the Naples Bay Resort Club. The Club is one block away from the Hotel but a block can be quite a distance in the US. The cottage where I am staying is really a 2 bed apartment. It is spacious and very well appointed if you wish to self cater. My problem is that I didn’t realise this was what I had booked. On arrival I was asked to pay a resort fee of $160 PLUS a cleaning fee of $160. I queried what the cleaning fee was for as I have never checked into a hotel before and been asked…

Our unit was owned by a person (H101) and it was a large 2/2 on the first floor. It sleeps 4 easily and has a full kitchen, 2 living rooms, stackable washer/dryer, and an assigned parking spot. These units are in a gated community. There are several pools, 2 for adults only, and there's a very lazy river. The gym is outstanding. The locker room is average. We stayed for 7 days and had a few issues. 1. I should mention we won this through an auction and were not informed of the resort fees (resort fees are extremely high, they were taken care of by the auction person). 2. The carpet in our unit is dirty. There's no other way to describe it. It needs to be replaced or, at the very least, cleaned. I can see they hire an outside service to clean but I doubt they are responsible for…

A very disappointing stay at this resort. Too many problems at the start of out trip to make it enjoyable and not have to worry about other problems creeping up. The cottage was noisy and the furniture uncomfortable. When paying a 5 star venue rate you tend to set your expectations high and mine were certainly not met. So although the appearances online were great - it just did not live up to expectations at all. The staff - both resort and maintenance - were all very nice and did their best - but we should not have had to see maintenance anywhere near what we did.

We are currently staying in a three bedroom cottage. They lie about how many It can hold. They are small. The rooms are clean but the appliances do not work. The bathtub was gross. Then they tell you they can get you to the beach which will never be on time. The beach chairs are rusty. The staff is not knowledgeable and you can tell feel bad for lying to their patrons. Worst resort I’ve ever stayed in. Don’t do it.

This is our sixth year of having our summer holiday in the Cottages of the Naples Bay Resort and it didn’t disappoint. The facilities are 5 star from the well appointed gym to the excellent pool area. There is a good mix of people by the pool and all very friendly . The cottages are fully equipped with everything that you need and it’s a great location to explore the area. July/Aug is their off season so you will find it nice and quiet. The Concierge, Marilyn was lovely as ever and very helpful. I look forward to 2019. 🤗

4th of July burgers and hot dogs. Let’s start with a 12 dollars for two hotdogs. Tiny hotdogs, no relish no condiments and stale bread. Burgers. Oh wow, horrible. Frozen dry burgers on non toasted hard bread. Nothing more to say. If you can’t cook a burger then don’t serve them!

We visited Naples Bay Resort again this year in March for 8 nights, staying in a two bedroom cottage. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable, located on the second floor across from the tennis courts. While we were there, we spent much of our time shopping and visiting with friends in Treviso Bay Resort. The only amenity at Naples Bay Resort that we used was the pool, and that was only for one hour for two different days. Still we were charged $53 per day for a resort fee. I suppose if one used the shuttle, the spa, etc. the resort fee might seem reasonable, but even the spa and tennis courts cost extra, beyond the fee, and the shuttle requires a driver tip each way. For us, the resort fee was ehorbitant. The cottages are convenient but a little dark inside. Most…

We stayed 10 nights at Naples Bay Resort in a two bedrom condo (A204) in the Cottages with pool view. On the positive side this hotel has great facilities (pools, fitnessroom and Pool bar) and we liked the fact that we could walk in to Naples in 15 minutes. The Condo was also beautifully decorated and spacious. Also the employees were all serviceminded and smiling. So it could have been a great stay. BUT, on the negative side I have never ever rented a condo before with the amount of trouble we had with this one. 1) Door keys malfunctioned 5 days 2) In the end the front door jammed completely and engineering had to break into the condo twice ( one day it took us 1,5 hours to get into the condo) 3) The washer was broke from day one - we had 4 different visits from…

I read the reviews and expected "the best resort" in Naples, but we were sadly disappointed. We went for our 10th wedding anniversary. The staff is nice and they have a family pool and adult pool, so that was nice. They have Bonefish Grille on premises too. However, we reserved the room directly with the resort to avoid any issues with removing down (goose feathers) in the room, and was assured it would be taken care of. I called a week before arrived (2nd call) to confirm they understood no down in the room due to severe allergy - again, they said it would be no problem at all, and would be taken care of. I called again 2 days prior (3rd call) and was told the same. We called the morning before leaving for the resort (4th phone call), and was told they have the notes,…
