I have not stayed here but based upon many, many recommendations from friends and colleagues, went to dinner here. The atmosphere was very nice, relaxing and quaint as we dined by the pool in the small courtyard. Our server was excellent as was the service but the food, for the price, did not "wow" us. The crispy grouper was, well,...

I have been several times to the restaurant at Hotel Escalante. It is a fabulous setting, you feel like you are a boutique hotel in Italy. Totally charming. The shrimp skewers are just fabulous. Spicy, sweet and utterly delicious. I will return again and again for this dish. My husband had the short ribs which were also tender and yummy....

The Escalante was not an over-the-top high-rise, but it was its rustic home-like feel that made our vacation so comfortable. Better yet, we still had access to all the wonderful shops, restaurants, and nightlife of the 5th Ave. and 3rd Street areas. And, nestled in the heart of Old Naples, we still had easy access to the gulf, which was...

My family celebrated my son's birthday with a very special dinner at the restaurant at Escalante, recently. We have been coming to Naples since 1977 and have eaten everywhere in town from the most humble to the fanciest and Escalante is truly memorable. We were aware of the hotel side of Escalante but just learned there was a restaurant there...

We enjoyed our stay at the Escalante Hotel. The king bed was extremely comfortable and the bed linens warm, fresh, clean and cozy. The room overlooked a beautiful private patio area. The staff was always eager to assist, and the nicest folks you will ever meet. The hotel in a one in a million in terms of Old World Charm....

Dear Guest, We are delighted to see your comments about our well-appointed suites, Veranda E acclaimed cuisine and we are extremely pleased that our team was able to exceed your expectations. We are sorry for any inconvenience the tub drain may have caused you. Your feedback has been shared with the concerned manager and assure you that the immediate necessary...

Recently my wife and I dined at the restaurant with two other couples. The setting was lovely, very romantic, picturesque and noisy. The food, very pricey. It was good but nothing that any of us would return for. The wines, by the glass, were so terribly over priced and mediocre as to be ludicrously insulting: $25 chards for $18 a...

Wonderful little hotel, perfect for a weekend getaway. This hotel is very quiet and relax. Breakfast is included. I just wished they had Expresso Coffee since I'm not a fan of American coffee, but no big deal because I walked to a nearby coffee place and got it ;) You can walk to the restaurants and the beach. They also...

Recently enjoyed a two night stay at The Escalante in a King Suite with private patio. Our room was beautifully decorated with Italian linens, tasteful lighting, and a marble bathroom. We appreciated the rain shower fixture in the bath, plank flooring in suite, and short walk to the beach. Really loved our twice daily ocean walks! There are great restaurants...

The owners of this hotel need to decide if they want to run a hotel or a restaurant, but they certainly cannot run both in the same place: the rooms are accessed by French windows directly overlooking the restaurant tables. We even had a table installed right in front of our doorway. Conclusion: you can only go to sleep when...

We stayed on night as an anniversary getaway, and I was perplexed in reading TA reviews that were quite different - some guests raved about the hotel and others seemed to be less impressed. We reserved a suite with doors opening to the pool, and only a short walk to the Verandah E restaurant which is on the grounds. The...
