The staff, both local and temporary, are friendly, helpful and responsive. The location on the beach is wonderful. Food at Baleen, though very expensive, was delicious and well served. Horia, Yadira, Sam, Raul and Perla stand out for their kind service. Diane, the concierge, was very helpful with some excellent recommendations. There are several details that reduced the value of what we expected in a luxury property and the enjoyment of our stay. On arrival our room had no slippers, shower cap, bar soap, washcloths or complimentary water ($9++ for a liter of Evian). We requested softer pillows which arrived on the third day of our five day stay. Asked for nuts or chips at the bar, none available. No turn down happens at night, we needed fresh towels which came late after a request. The carpet was soiled - however the rest of the room felt very clean. Valet workers tried so hard to be helpful but the pressure of so much demand made the experience chaotic for guests

The main problem is that Naples is just expensive, so I wouldn’t call it overpriced relative to the competition, but at a $1,000 per night there are some things that need improvement. I am not going to complain about some amenities still being worked on. They got beat up in the hurricane and need to be dealt with.
There are some public areas outside the rooms that need a touch up and some cleaning. Nothing bad, but not high end. No real privacy in the bathroom. There is a louvred pocket door that is really noisy (if somebody is sleeping) and no sound barrier to the bathroom.
The oceanfront balcony is lovely. Great views.
At the price you would expect a minimum of a couple free bottles of water in the room. There are none, just $9 bottled water. I don’t love Florida tap water so that seems ridiculous
The restaurant was redone and we had a pretty good meal, but having just been redone the interior is very pedestrian and non descript.
A nice place, but not what you expect for the cost.

Say No to Naples. Just seeking a winter getaway was not a good idea. Noble House resorts failed to inform me at over $700 a night in the newly renovated Beach House that a wedding for 300 was being constructed and taking place. I love weddings don’t get me wrong! But it took them 2 days to build, drill saw and set up under our room. In addition to that they cleared the beach at 4 for the ceremony and there were 1000 workers for the celebrations. The hotel staff was then missing in action for any guests not a part of the wedding. As far as the room goes it was new and beautiful but clearly no one finished the punch list. All the hardware including the sliding door handle broke off. The vanity was split in the room and the Wi-Fi weaker than a deserted island. Any phone call had to be made outside or in the lobby . I mentioned it a few times and even had a front desk representative check and reset my phone and it still never worked. Water in the room was $7.00… not even a complimentary water to be found anywhere on the property. If it wasn’t for the warm sunny weather I clearly would’ve moved down the road to the Ritz.. know this LaPlaya is a wedding venue on weekends period.

This is not 5 star hotel or in any way a boutique hotel and we were incredibly disappointed.
The staff at all times were courteous and pleasant but the hotel and its services are 3/4 star at best.
Throughout our 5 day stay there was only one elevator in service for both staff and guests - at busy times 10 minute waits for the elevator were not uncommon.
The lobby is pleasant and small but incredibly busy and a bit like a train station. There is nowhere quiet to sit for an evening cocktail or nightcap other than a vastly overcrowded bar that serves both the dining room and terrace and is full of outsiders.
There is an expensive valley parking system with pleasant staff but due to volume of business it invariably took 15 minutes to get the car. Why do hotels like this not just be honest and rather than hide the $45 plus tax cost include it in the price they quote for a room.
There is a delightful beach with a good beach service but the pool is ugly and surrounded by buildings with a limited view - in all honesty it was not much better than a 3star Mariot experience. Lunch at the beach was pleasant but served in plastic bowls and glassware along with disposable cutlery - one doesn't expect that at a 5 stat hotel.
The housekeeping was good but our travelling companions twice returned to the rooms at 7.00pm (having left at 9.00am for the day) to find the bedroom unmade. Again not 5 star service.
Our fiends booked a beach villa and we went for a superior tower room. The beach villas were, at the las minute, not available and they were promised a suite instead - this never materialised. In the end we had identical rooms - pleasantly fitted (with soiled carpet stains) but with a good sized bathroom with a ridiculous shared bath and shower set up and despite there being masses of room only one tiny basin.
There is a great golf course 15 minutes from the property - certainly 5 star but at $400 a person per round it should be.
As said earlier the staff were at all times courteous, polite and helpful - particularly the Concierge's who booked our golf and dinner reservations. Its a shame the offering doesn't live up to the staff.
All in all I would not reccomend this place

My husband and I were in Naples (business trip) and we enjoyed a truly wonderful extended stay at LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort. The warm sunshine, earth grounding walks on the beautiful white sand of Vanderbilt Beach, and stunning sunsets from our hotel room balcony or Baleen restaurant were absolutely memorable. I brought my yoga mat with me and my daily workouts with the view of the ocean and swaying palm trees were extra joyful. (There are regular beach yoga classes held on the resort’s Gulf lawn.) However, what was truly exceptional to me were the very kind and gracious LaPlaya Team members who welcome guests with genuine hospitality. It was a delight to get to know some of these team members over our stay, and observe the many ways they anticipate guest needs and excel at service. We received a lovely warm welcome on arrival, as well as the many times I stopped by the front desk to retrieve a package delivery. A very special thank you to Ken, director of front office, Wenderson, and Nikolaus. And to the always smiling Bellman Cornell who exudes light and happiness, and did you know he is a published author? I also want to thank Yulie, director of housekeeping, and her hardworking team, especially Ditti, who made sure our room was sparkling clean with fresh linens and towels every week. I think my husband and I worked our way through most of the Baleen Restaurant menu. Thank you to Baleen restaurant general manager, Georgiana, and special shoutouts to servers Anne, Christopher, Baris, Vasi and Marius. I was royally pampered at SpaTerre (temporarily located in the Bay Tower) and what a delight to meet Teresa, director of spa and wellness, and nail esthetician extraordinaire Daymi - thank you for the best mani-pedi service! There is an excellent retail boutique at LaPlaya, as well as pop-up trunk shows set up in the lobby for guest shopping. Sales associate, Susan, is very personable and makes shopping for gifts a fun and pleasant experience. Regional retail manager, Allyson, is the curator behind this terrific selection of clothing, jewelry and unique gifts as well as orchestrating these dynamite trunk shows. So many more people to thank: concierge Diane, Edward in engineering, and Aleida who greets every employee with a smile and kindness in the employee cafeteria. Terry, Lisa, and Zee in human resources, Youssef and Sandy, club operations and membership, Rob and Liam and their energetic recreation team, and many more associates who were happy to assist us and made us feel incredibly welcome throughout our stay. La Playa is paradise. We don’t usually write reviews but have to rave about this place because it exceeded all expectations. My husband and I came for a long weekend trip and we didn’t want to leave this amazing resort. We had an incredible view towards the gulf from our room and balcony and enjoyed all the pools and amenities. It is so beautiful and the grounds so well maintained- It’s obvious that the management of La Playa has their finger on the pulse of every small detail (which we appreciated as architects). The food, drinks and hospitality was also superb! All of the staff were so attentive and we felt so welcomed. We had dinner at Baleen with a view of the sunset (the mahi mahi was excellent) and even got serenaded by Adriano at the end that was just the cherry on top. Highly highly recommend. Such a magical stay!

Hi Carlos, Thank you for reaching out about our stay. We enjoyed Naples, unfortunately our hotel stay was not very good. The rooms that my husband and I and our friends received were in need of a renovation. They are past their prime. One of the bedside lamps was broken with a bulb hanging off in room 908. The dining chairs and balcony chairs had stains. The bed had several large chips. The bathroom jet tub is overrun with excessive chalk . The height itself is an extreme hazard. We were also unable to control the hot water and had some near scolding water come out. The fact there was only one working elevator in the building that had to be shared with house keeping and other repair staff was extremely frustrating and was noted by all hotel guests. There we’re routine things missing. Napkins with the morning coffee set up which the staff were unable to provide when asked. There was no coffee this morning and after getting several answers as to when it would be set up, we were then told coffee is only offered Thursday-Sunday. The spa was closed on Sunday, so we were unable to yo get spa treatments. There were some pluses . The beach staff and beach waitress were very nice and accommodating. I don’t mean to be negative. However , I was really looking forward to this vacation to celebrate my 60 birthday with our friends, and unfortunately, our expectations were far from meet.

Spent a night here...had dinner and breakfast here in the Baleen. Ok... but a basic dinner. Luis was very good server, slow wide gapping service for a dining room that was not filled. We were the only four that was there and it was not 100% occupied.
Pool was refreshing and small. Nice job on the grounds after last years Hurricane Ian.
Rooms were small and the bathroom had only one sink. But the main complaint of the bathroom was the jacuzzi tub that is used as a shower also with the glass sliding doors. The gap that a person have to straddle over is very large, high and wide and uneven. If a short elderly person have to shower they would need help getting in and out while the shower is wet making it dangerous and very slippery. Best way to get in and out is to have a bath towel and fold it, and place over the door rails and sit on it and hopefully your feet and legs can squeeze thru the doors. When are you going to change that? Slip and fall will always be a big issue. I'm sure this have been mentioned over and over again at your staff meetings. And if this is not mentioned in the past so shame on you. You only want to rent out the rooms and not care about customer safety. That's an issue. We should of ask for a walk in shower if they have them. (See photos)
Only one working elevator and it was scary to ride it. Hesitant, jumps, and slow moving, doors slowly opening make you want to walk down the stairs.
