We stayed 4 nights after new year in the Tennis Court Villa. We have enjoyed cycling, beach time, tennis and swimming. It's not cheap, and nothing is exceptional other than the location. We saw dolphins from the beach, lovely sunsets, lots of birds, we enjoyed the treasure hunt. I'd recommend a trip!

Spent Christmas 2016 at South Seas resort which turned out to be a perfect choice. Great location with beautiful views of nature and the water. The resort is well appointed with activities for children to aging adults. Food is available but comes with a price. The staff was so patient and none complained about working on Christmas day. We overheard...

Had been quite few years since we have been back at this resort again. No real reason other than hadn't had time. Was very nice and is a good family destination with many more kid activities available. The pizza place was not very good at all. The rest of the restaurants are good but somewhat pricey. The service can be...

I would return and stay. We rented three, 3 bedroom Bayside Villas. Our group of 18 had a blast. There was plenty for everybody to do with never feeling rushed. The amenities were great. Now, with all that being said, I would spend more and get Beach Villas or Beach Cottages. All 3 of our rooms were of different degrees...

Just checked in here at today at 3:00 PM went to one of the pools and they just informed me that pools close at sunset. This is the first time I have been in a resort in which the pools close so early in addition we have to pay a resort fee per person per day. Since this was very...

We just took a family group of 10 to South Seas for my husband's 70th birthday. We booked three Beach Villas so that we'd be right on the beach. The photos on the website looked lovely; however, when we arrived, the three units turned out to be very tired-looking- stained sofas, scratched furniture, tepid housekeeping-not at all what we'd booked...

We spent the New Years weekend here, and had a perfect weekend. The location and the amenities are amazing. Walkable to the beach, to the various Captiva restaurants and shops, and to the resort features. Clean rooms and property, great service, beautiful pools, and many food/drink options. Highly recommended.

The location is so peaceful and serene. I love being surrounded by water, especially the turquoise color there. Our party of 18 had several room types and they were all excellent options. My husband, our teenage daughter, and I spent time at the South Seas resort the week of December 26, 2016. The island itself is lovely, and we enjoyed being at the end of Captiva due to the large number of tourists who come for day trips to Sanibel and clog the main road. Any trips between islands during peak times,...
