I have stayed at Marriott properties all over the world. This was really absolute worst! I cannot believe Marriott would put its name on this place. Cockroaches, urine staines on the bathroom floor plus public hairs! The room smelled bad not to mention stained ceilings and stairs with missing carpet. We paid over $200.00 to stay overnight in this dump!
Reservation made online. Check in quick and pleasant. Exterior showing age as well was room. Carpet worn in room near door/kitchen. AC hard to adjust. Breakfast offered prepackaged processed waffle, muffins, juice, milk, cereal options. Check out was quick.
Room mold spores so strong made breathing/sleeping difficult. Pool dirty, not filtered properly, dried vomit on side of pool. Not told that breakfast no longer served, not told that take away bags removed at 9AM.
We stayed in a studio for the night and wish we could’ve stayed longer. Kevin, the front desk person was very personable and checked us in seamlessly. He also suggested places nearby that served great food. If you ever drive-through Ocala stop for a great night’s rest and inviting service.
Had a pleasant overnight stay. The place was clean and the rooms were decorated nicely. The lobby in particular was modern and appealing. Parking is tight so any vehicles with a trailer may need to park in an overflow area that the hotel leverages in cooperation with Cracker Barrel as they own the property. It’s not real convenient but you have to adapt.
