While attending the Bocelli concert in Orlando, we thought it would be special to stay at a local B&B rather than a modern hotel. If you want new and modern, you don't check in to a B&B. You expect to meet other guests, the owners and staff, and experience local flavor. The Courtyard must have been amazing back in the...

We stayed the I.W. Phillips House with a large wrap around veranda overlooking a tropical courtyard. The room was large with 3 sets of doors opening onto the porch. The room was very nice and clean. The I. W. Phillips House has guest rooms upstairs and a large downstairs lobby area filled with beautiful antiques. This is also where breakfast...

This property could be fabulous but is definitely in need of repairs, painting and sprucing up! My husband and I stayed in Room 203 in the I.W. Phillips building. The room was very spacious. The bathroom was also very large, with a separate area with sink, vanity and mirror. Sadly, the carpet in the bedroom was stained and very worn....

Had the turret room in Dr Phillips House - great room and some good views. All buildings are lovely (except perhaps the art deco apartment building). Main house with drinks at 6pm beautiful antiques. Breakfast space lovely, although the food offerings somewhat marginal. Oddly, didn't service our room before our last night there - but otherwise all went well. Very...

The House as well as the room was immaculate. We had THE best time. The courtyard is large and tropical, with meandering brick sidewalks and statuary, fountains and a goldfish pond. Strangely, though pleasantly, we did not see a single other guest the entire time we were there. There were several cars in the lot, but no faces other than...

Customer service while there was good but minimal as we only communicated with the front desk person. The room was extremely warm and musty smelling upon arrival so recommend bring incense or Febreeze. Building itself was quaint but if your looking for complete quiet the sirens from either downtown or to the nearby hospital are a bit of a distraction....

Spent the night in the oldest of the four buildings at the Courtyard. The Norment Parry, built in 1883, is also the oldest house in Orlando. Beautifully furnished with antiques, clean and absolutely charming. We stayed in the honeymoon suite which had a comfortable queen size bed, fireplace and sunroom overlooking the garden and patio outside. We were able to...

Hard to find on a side road to nowhere. No parking. No near by places to eat. Hotel is an old historic building if you like that stuff. Expressways surround the area. It is a clean friendly place but you have to like staying in a old building.

My wife and I are locals and we were planning a night out downtown for her birthday. We could have Ubered and stayed at home, but a friend told us about The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne. I called, spoke to the Manager Dave and told him what we were doing and he recommended one of their suites in the historic...

This was a unique experience and is a good fit if you're feeling adventurous and want something different from a Hilton or Marriott. The building is historic and charming--with the quirks that go along with that. For example, all rooms on the entire floor were controlled by a single thermostat and the shower was so small that I had to...
