The Hotel Monreale Express I-Drive Orlando garners praise for its attentive and multilingual service, with cleanliness being a notable strength, particularly for allergy-prone guests appreciating the non-carpeted floors. Its prime location near Universal Studios and various dining options stands out as highly convenient. While the atmosphere is described as cozy, guests have called out the significant noise disturbances. The range of amenities, including in-room refrigerators and microwaves, enhances the overall value, although some visitors have noted additional costs for breakfast and laundry.

"I stayed in this hotel with my wife between 19/10 and 26/10/2024, and our experience was excellent. Since the reception, we were well received, with a staff who speaks Portuguese and attended us with great attention. We arrived at 10:00, before the check-in time, which was at 15:00, but we were promptly allowed to leave our bags at the hotel, which was a difference. I would like to thank especially the attendees Whainy, Mina and Gustavo, who made our stay even more pleasant. The room we stayed in was cosy and well equipped, with microwave, fridge, TV, cabinets, desk and air conditioning – in addition to being carpet-free, which was a positive point. We tried breakfast on one of the days, which was not included in the daily routine; although simple, it meets well our needs. The location is also worth noting: we were close to various amenities, such as McDonald's, nearby pharmacy, gift shops, and restaurants, including Brazilian options. Also, the proximity to the Universal Park was very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely consider staying here again!"

Excellent hotel! Great location and service. There are Brazilian receptionists, which makes communication easier for those who don't speak English and non-Brazilians are super attentive too (highlight to Gustavo and Linette). The rooms were recently renovated and the main one has a wooden carpet floor. Room cleaning is done upon request, so they only enter the room when requested and cleaning is done well.
The hotel offers transfers to Disney and Universal parks.
Parking at the hotel is free, breakfast costs 9 dollars/person, there is a 2 dollar/day resort fee and the wifi is free and works very well.

Monreale is a hotel that belongs to a hotel chain in Brazil, in a completely renovated building and under new management since 2018, with an excellent location, as it is located between International Drive and Universal Boulevard, just 1 mile away from Universal and very close to several restaurants, attractions, Premium outlet, Walgreens, Walmart, in other words, everything you are looking for on a trip to Orlando.
The rooms are large, comfortable and utilitarian, but without any luxury.
Housekeeping services are daily and included in the daily rate, but must be requested daily by 11 am.
The hotel has laundry facilities, costing 2 USD per wash and 2 USD per drying.
Breakfast is separate, costing 9 USD per person.
However, you can do your shopping and make your own breakfast.
The hotel offers free transfer service to Disney and Universal, with a departure time in the morning and a return time in the evening.
The service from the entire hotel staff is excellent, but I would like to give an honorable mention to Sirlene, Gustavo and Hilton, all at reception, to the manager Rodrigo, and Luz from the restaurant.
It will always be our main option for accommodation in Orlando.

The hotel is great, it has a unique location, it is only 12 minutes (timed) from the Universal parks, although if you don't want to walk you can take the bus that leaves the hotel in the morning and then in the afternoon they pick you up at the parking lot of the same park. If you rent a car you can park without any additional charge (free) and the rooms are great starting with the fact that they are super clean and the best thing is that they don't have carpet. They have a no-smoking policy in the rooms which is great for me since I have asthma and the smell of tobacco makes me sick. The room is big, super big, it has a large bathtub. A good size TV, microphone, chair and desk for your PC. Etccc. Every year I travel to parks and I must say that Monreal will be my selected hotel since not only its facilities make it great but also the staff is friendly and cordial; By the way, I thank Hilton, Gustavo and Mina, I really thank you. They treated us with great affection and that is greatly appreciated and valued.
Note: The hotel for those considering going to the parks is really great.

My husband and I stayed from the 3rd to the 19th of September and we needed to change rooms three times. As soon as we arrived, on the first night, we asked to change rooms due to the presence of many cockroaches, including on the bed. In the second room, everything was fine, but we had to change again due to a water leak that was damaging the room below. In the third room, the shower didn't heat up, the minibar didn't cool down and we also found several cockroaches. In the fourth and last room, there were no insects, but the minibar still didn't cool.

One issue that bothered me a lot was the reception staff's response when I mentioned the cockroaches in the room. They claimed this was common in Florida. I didn't like this answer, because even if a state has a problem with insects, it can easily be solved with regular pest control and more rigorous cleaning.

The hotel has an excellent location and most of the reception staff expressed concern about our dissatisfaction due to the insects (although not all of them). However, due to the experience with the insects, shower and minibar, I would not stay at this hotel again.

The pool is a good size, but we didn't use it, so I can't comment on it.

The laundry is good, the cost to wash and dry was 2 dollars for each machine

The hotel hallway was dirty.

Breakfast is charged at $9 + tax per person. I thought the coffee was reasonable, but considering the value of the dollar for Brazilians, it ends up being expensive... It's easier to go to Walmart and make your own breakfast. It's worth mentioning that we only discovered at the end of the trip, through another guest, that if we wanted to get just the black coffee it was free, but we were not informed of this. I believe this information is not clearly communicated.

Positive points: the hotel offers service in Portuguese, which makes it easier for those who don't speak or have difficulty with the language.
The air conditioning works well and we had no problems with hotel security. Parking is ok.

I stayed 8 nights in this hotel and it was great, the hotel delivers what it promises. Gentle and helpful reception and that speak Portuguese, most. Rooms clean, but only do cleaning when you request, I found great because they only enter the room when you want, for me it was no problem to schedule my cleaning. Well located, in the heart of the International Drive and close to the Universal (5 min drive) Very close has a Walgreens and a KFC. There's a washing machine and a dryer that costs two dollars each, and they sell soap. Budget hotel, if you are looking for luxury look for another hotel. Finally, I forgot my notebook at the Hotel after checkout and they saved and returned it. I will definitely come back more often.

Clean and cozy hotel, polite and kind staff.
The fact that employees speak Portuguese helps a lot in communication . It has a laundry room where you pay $2,00 per machine (laundry and drying machine are separate), has an ice machine that helps a lot on hot days and its use is free.
Although they have paid breakfast, if you want only black coffee or hot water, it's free!
They charge an extra fee of $2.00 per day in addition to the rental value and this fee is non-refundable as in other hotels.
The collaborators Hilton, Diana, Mina and Thiago made our stay easier and more enjoyable.
I highly recommend the hotel and will definitely be back.

Laundry tip: buy the cleaning products at Dollar Tree, there you have everything in the small version or buy the portion for use at the hotel itself.
The washing machine takes 30 minutes and the drying one takes 50 minutes, do not forget to leave something on the machine that demonstrates that it is in use, such as the softener box. You don't have to wait there, you can timepiece and come back later.

My family and I stayed at the Hotel Monreale between April 16th and 25th/24.
Location: Excellent. Close to Universal (you can actually see the park's roller coasters from the hotel's balcony). There is a Wallgreens 2 minutes walk away. In front of the Hotel there is a Korean restaurant (I didn't eat there). There are restaurant options around the hotel and there is also an Olive garden 3 blocks from the hotel (you can walk there). Very good and safe region.

Service: We liked it. Friendly receptionists (I don't remember their names). For those who have difficulty with the language, practically all of them speak Portuguese. They offer free transportation to Universal parks (08:45/18:00)

Hotel: Parking is free. We rented a car and whenever we came back, there were plenty of spaces available, we never had a problem arriving and there being no spaces.
The rooms were good, without carpet (plus point). Two double beds, reasonably comfortable, the only negative point was that the mattresses were very soft. Bathroom with shower curtain. I personally find this horrible, however, this is standard in the USA.
Room cleaning must be requested at reception by a certain time, if you do not request it, the room will not be cleaned. No additional tax was charged for cleaning.
The hotel has a swimming pool, but we did not use it. We arrived very tired and didn't have time to enjoy it.
My rate didn't include breakfast, so we opted to have coffee in a Brazilian cafe called "Amor em Peças" (I think), very good, but "expensive". At the hotel the cost was 10 dollars + tax per person.

Next time, we will definitely stay at Moreale. Approved and Recommended.

So we stayed here for 14 nights, flying in from the Uk..
Staff.. 10/10. Everyone we met was friendly, polite and very helpful.
Room. 8/10. Beds very comfy. Reasonably clean although things are starting to look a little old. Great that we had a fridge and microwave.. Both we used every day.. Plenty of hot water, shower and bath were great.
Hotel .. Location 10/10 approx 25 minute walk to Universal, or 10 mins to catch free bus from Surfside or Dockside. So many restaurants to choose from within walking distance. Small pool was clean with nice pool deck. Internet 10/10 throughout the whole hotel.

The only downside was that is was so noisy. Firstly there is continuous noise from the traffic on the motorway 24 hours a day. Secondly the air conditioning unit is incredibly loud in the room when it is running. Thirdly the bin collection lorry for the hotel comes every morning at 6am sharp.. Making a horrendous noise. The cleaning trolleys being wheeled up and down the walkways sound like trains passing..
However all of this did not stop us from sleeping well.. I think we were all exhausted from the parks

Overall it's a very well priced motel.. In a fantastic location.
