This is truly a lovely place to stay. Many people talk about the small rooms but if you're used to European hotels, these rooms are plenty big enough. We had two queen beds for my wife and me as well as our adult daughter. The one drawback was the electric water parade that goes by between 9:30 and 10. We...

My stay at Wilderness Lodge began on a little bit of a sour note. When we arrived the room i was given was on the ground floor and had a view of the pool area. I had requested, and paid for, a woods view on either the fourth of sixth floors. But the problem was immediately addressed and our room...

I asked at checkin for a room close to the elevator since I am coming off surgery to my knee and can't walk long distances. First room was very far from Elevator. I called and they relocated me two floors down. Nice thing about RFID key/bracelet was it worked on the new room. I also have to ice the knee...

This resort is not to be missed. If you ever stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge, you'll notice a similarity as you enter Wilderness Lodge. The grounds are spectacularly landscaped with lush native vegetation. Driving onto the property you'll see beautiful topiaries of geese and buffalo. There are also plenty of live deer and rabbits roaming the grounds and grazing by...

Booked the hotel based on the recommendation of my travel agent after I told her what I was looking for….Clean rooms, close to the park.. Traveling with my 2 year old son for his first trip to Disney. We were given a bunk bed room (not sure why)… we asked to change and they offered us a handicapped room.. I...

Stayed here 3 days. Quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. Rooms well appointed (of course it's a Disney deluxe themed resort). Full service resort hotel. This was the value season. The resort is massive. It seemed like there was hardly anyone there. I used the fitness center while I was there. Weights and arobic machines everything was there and in excellent condition....

We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge for a week during the holiday season. The lodge itself is massive, when you walk into the lobby you are greeted by a five story open interior containing totem poles a two story fire place and three restaurants a bar, a store, arcade and a creek that runs from the lobby to the exterior...

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at the Wilderness Lodge when we visited WDW for Marathon Weekend. This was our second stay and most likely will not be our last. We were greeted at the door when we got off the Magical Express bus from the airport and within 5 minutes were completely signed in. We had requested a...

We have just returned from our week long Disney vacation. Our reason for going was the Disney Marathon weekend, and to spend time with family that came in for it as well. We have stayed at other Disney resorts but this one was by far my favorite! Every little detail about it is amazing, and you truly feel like you...

This trip to Disneyworld we decided to stay at Wilderness Lodge after previously staying at Animal Kingdom and The Grand Floridian. The Wilderness was closer to Magic Kingdom (for the grandkids) than Animal Kingdom and yet still along the same lines. The Christmas decorations were fabulous and the lodge feel was awesome! Our room was on the fifth floor that...
