Well we were offered an awesome deal at the Wilderness Lodge being that it was under construction so we took advantage. I will try and give a fair review with the construction in mind. I will say it kinda' reminds me of the Animal Kingdome Lodge with the extremely open and high Lobby we were told it was designed by... More

The nice email stating construction starts at 9am, sounds really nice. The truth is, we are staying in the middle of a construction zone. Three years of planning to stay in a construction zone. They should have shut entire wings down and not subjected their guests to construction vehicles at 7:30/8:00am, Hammering, saws and various other construction noise. I am... More

As always it is still a Disney Hotel so it's is lovely, but the small changes are the things that have made me think that you cannot call this a 5 Star anymore. We were disappointed to find that we did not receive the towel sculptures that made this hotel different to every other and made it truly unique. By... More

The theme and look of the Wilderness Lodge is great and the lobby is very impressive with the large totem poles and fireplace. Being able to get a boat to the Magic Kingdom is also a great feature. There was construction work, but from our courtyard (pool) view room we could hardly see any of it. The geyser waterspout woke... More

We had a great trip to Disney World with my family of 5 in October and stayed at the Wilderness Lodge. We liked the property a lot. We had a bedroom with a queen sized bed and a bunk bed. This worked out really nicely for our family. The pool was great too. The ferry to the Magic Kingdom was... More

Had a 7 night stay in a club level room. Get to the hotel, no one is there to escort us to the seventh floor. Ask at front desk and was rudely told to "just get in the elevator" which you cannot access without your activated magic band or staff escorting you. Club level staff was not friendly like in... My daughter Brittany told me that it's the cast members that make the Disney experience. She is so right! I had the pleasure of staying here on the club level and had the best vacation! from the moment of check in until I Had to go to the animal kingdom hotel, I was so pampered. The staff are incredibly helpful,... More

We booked this hotel when we thought our trip was only going to be one night and we wanted to treat our selves. One of the main draws was its location and being able to take the boat to Magic Kingdom. We got to the hotel around 11:30am, there was plenty of parking in the big parking lot, which is... More

We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa for 4 nights, it was large and spacious, amazing light fixtures, tap wear, themeing, and views of the lake. The lodge itself has now become our family favorite. Whispering Canyons has amazing breakfast and dinner. The pool was a lot of fun for our children and had free life flotation vest for small... More
