We have stayed at several Disney properties. This one always will remain our favorite. We love the small resort feel. After a long day in the parks we walked to our room in less than 5 minutes. We were on the waterfront. Beds are comfortable and decor is on point with the theme. Also can't leave here until I've had...

We have stayed at many Disney moderate and deluxe resorts, but this was our visit to Port Orleans French Quarter. It had great bang for the buck! Our room, 4242, was conveniently located close enough to the pool, eating area, and bus stop without hearing all the noise. We made multiple runs to refill our Disney mugs with no problem....

This hotel is just not what you would expect for the Disney brand, especially at nearly 300 USD per night. We are used to Hilton Embassy Suites and this hotel sorely missed expectations. The rooms are dirty and in need of updating. The rooms are very small with a bathroom that is divided by just a curtain. The beds are...

Here is a copy of a review I sent to Disney Guest Relations. This resort is wonderful. Good evening, We recently stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter. This is our 6 or 7 visit t Walt Disney world and our 4th visit on site. We have stayed at Pop Century and Coronado before but this was our first stay at...

The hotel is decorated in the New Orleans style with a dragon pool and a court yard in which they show movies on selected days. The buses only stop at the French Quarter so you do not have to stop everywhere first.

French Quarter is quaint, small yet relaxing. You feel when you come back to this resort after a long day at the parks you are finally away from the crowds and the hustle and bustle and can truly relax. The quick service restaurant is great for breakfast and although the gift shop isn't huge you can stroll along the river...

Let me start by saying I have been a Disney Season Passholder for the last 10 years....so maybe my expectations are a little high. We've stayed at all the hotels on property. ALL of them including the Grand Floridian down to the Pop Century. We have also stayed at Port Orleans Riverside at least a dozen times....and LOVE IT. We...

Great hotel for the price. Convenient location, charming small hotel for Disney standard. The kids can walk around alone and you will fell save because of the size of the Hotel. Rooms and facilities are a little outdate but still pleasant. Rooms are nice size.

I visited during the marathon weekend. The main advantage to stay here during the marathon is the efficient and well organized bus system. We were able to catch the bus at the lobby. It took us to the parks before the start of the race. The same on the way back. Easy and convenient. Overall had a great visit.

Location was great, very close to Magic Kingdom and Epcot which is what we did this weekend. The resort has an old world feel so the rooms don't look modern but they do have charm. They have a mini fridge but no microwave. Restaurant on site for food, didn't get to use the pool (too cold) but everything else was...
