This condo was wonderful and the view from the balcony was awesome. 3 bedroom , very clean, stainless steel appliances. large pool area. There's a walking trail around Lake Cay about 1.5 miles. Garbage is collected daily and the halls are cleaned every morning.
We stayed at Vista Cay for Spring Break and spent 4 days in Disney. The location is AMAZING. 15 minutes from the airport, 6 minutes from Sea World, and about 15 minutes from the other Disney theme parks. The accommodations were huge, nicest place I've ever stayed while on vacation. The two-bedroom apartment was very spacious for a family of 4. The kids loved the pool, I loved the hot tub. Both were clean and the pool bar had great options and reasonably priced. Landscaping was beautiful. Check in and out was contactless, we were provided the code to the keypad to get into the unit upon arrival. Only minor downside was that only a start-up supply of necessary amenities such as toilet paper and paper towels were provided. They did not last a week and we had to purchase extra at the local grocery store. I would rather pay an extra $5/night to have a week's supply or the ability to restock without going to the grocery store. We will most likely stay again!…
THE GOOD: The location is within 15 minutes of all the major attractions. The grounds and buildings are clean and very spacious, and an excellent choice for large families/groups. THE BAD: The units skimp on everything including the basics like: Salt, pepper, sugar, coffee and water., dishwashing soap and laundry detergent. When paying thousands of dollars even a Comfort Inn provides water bottles for their guests when they arrive.
This was our 3rd visit to Vista Cay. This time we stayed at The Reserve. We had a fantastic stay, as usual, and hope to be back. Close enough to all the parks. Publix and Walgreens within walking distance as well as NYPD pizza, Beth's Burger Bar and others. We can't imagine staying anywhere else now. I would also like to thank you for your kindness following the death of my husband since our previous visit in 2019. It was very much appreciated.
Bartender at the pool was absolutely bizarre. My group was sitting and talking about the day and he ranted about service and weird stuff. Company had no manager in place and we quietly packed and left. This was our second time staying here. Last time. It was too weird and no controls in place.
When we first arrived at the apartment, it had been dressed lovely and was spacious we had been travelling for 17 hrs so was happy to be in our rental. We arrived at night.. So went straight to bed. When waking in the morning, you noticed how tired the decor was and all a bit grubby... Was a great area for getting to the parks. Apartment was dark and you needed to have lights on all day, which is not great. Decor very circa 90's The pool and jacuzzi were good. Huge issue with sleep, as people above us were thumping around/slamming doors *except between 12 and 5.. So sleep was impossible after these hrs, after nearly a week I contacted the management asking them to help, or move us.. Was told to contact security or the police twice. What actually were they going to do!? .I had told management that my mobile was not working, so couldn't call but this was disregarded. In the end I turned up at the neighbours door at 5.30 to ask them to keep the noise down. (not great in a country were guns are carried) however at this point I was at the end of my tether and sleep deprived. Towels are provided and laundry room was useful.. Furniture was old and marked and the cooker markings were rubbed off. We stayed for 2 weeks and I feel we should have had a clean once, you don't expect to go on holiday and have to wash your own sheets when you have paid 2200 1 t towel provided with holes in.. And dining table chairs were too low for the table.. I used my own fleece blanket to sit on the sofa.. The spectrum TV box was not working when we arrived, Which I reported by email and was fixed quickly however 2 days later it broke down again so didn't bother to call them our again as we used our Netflix account. No cleaning products provided except 3 dishwasher tablets and a mini washing up liquid and tide detergent for 1 wash. All the pictures, yes all were not straight so we t round adjusting them all as was annoying and the religious quotes were not to my taste... Rentals should be unbiased for clientele. I think the carpets were fairly new which was good. No safe in room and they were chips out if the kitchen tiles.. Would I stay again? No.. Sleep and support when needed lacked.. The bin chest putstde the door was dirty and needed a wash out and sink drainer had mould in it...…
There are a few ways to rent this area. However, this website has the best units. This was BLD G4814, Unit 402. Newly updated. Very clean, quiet. Best of the best with furnishings, full kitchen and laundry, free wifi. Love that new screen with the option to extend the rental. Free Parking! Nice amenities. NO SOLICITING TO BUY A CONDO! That's the biggest relief. You just land at MCO, drive on 528 to Exit 2 and there you are. Best area in Orlando. Still the quietest area. But it is growing with new residential and businesses. Easiest hop to I-4 or 528 to turnpike. Best Italian restaurant (Ciao) nearby. Best for getting supplies at the nearby Publix. Going back for Thanksgiving. I would never rent a hotel for a family or any other property. Some still have that annoying "check in/hard sales". Not with Daniel, Stephanie and Lauren.…
Just returned from a 2 week stay in a luxury 2 bed apartment with friends. The apartment was huge and had everything we needed, the decor was a little dated but that a personal taste. We only had one minor issue with a toaster that didn’t work, but once we reported it and new one arrived straight away, in keeping with the excellent service we received from Orlando Resort Rentals staff from the start. The clubhouse amenities are pretty good too, nice pool, though the reception staff were not very helpful and a little rude to be honest. But it’s run by a different company, so not ORR fault, and we didn’t need to deal with them much anyway. Perfect location to get to all the major theme parks very quickly. We have been visiting Orlando every few years since 1999, and this was definitely one of the best choices, we will defiantly be back!…
We stayed as a family of 6 in August for 2 weeks in a town house style apartment. 2 double bedrooms and a twin all with en-suite. Decent size lounge/diner and kitchen. Washing machine and dryer were so useful in the garage. The house was clean and comfortable but quite tired around the edges. Air con was great, noisy construction works outside constantly was not so great but that was nothing to do with Vista. The pool was lovely although we hardly used it as out most of the time. Didn’t use the gym or bar either but all looked good. Staff were lovely and helpful. Right next to a larger supermarket, easy to walk to. Or smaller but good convenience store just need main reception. Location was ideal as no more than a couple of miles drive from all of the parks. We hired a car which was ideal but got Ubers in the evening or walked to the I drive. We drove into Melbourne airport and drove the hour or so up, fantastic quiet airport.…
Great deal! Very nice condo, modern, clean and comfortable. Only a few minutes from Universal Studios so my husband and I came back to the condo for a few hours while our high schoolers enjoyed the theme park on their own.
