Fabulous hotel. Delicious coffee 24/7. Pool a blast. The staff was wonderful and room very comfortable and clean. Recommend the hotel especially for families. Close to the convention center which was helpful. Shuttle went from hotel to convention center.

We stayed here three nights for vacation. Overall, we were pleased with the cleanliness and friendly staff. Colton at the front desk was superb, and he was very helpful with our requests. The hotel was mostly quiet, and signage promotes health and safety protocols. There is also plenty of parking. The beds were comfortable as well. The elevators require a key to use, which is a nice safety feature, and the hotel made an effort of providing a prepackaged breakfast in the absence of what appeared to be a well-stocked buffet once it’s safe for it to return.
There are a few issues to work out since it’s a new property. The TV didn’t work well as it kept shutting off 3-4 times before displaying programs, and it went out completely during the rain leaving very little to do. The A/C took a while to turn on, and it made a sound like water draining every time it turned on. The bathroom door was very heavy and difficult to close, and the hot water took a while to warm up for a shower. The sink is very powerful as well and should be turned on slowly. Also, the elevator displayed the wrong floor several times. Lastly, the room could provide more seating options than a single chair and small bench in front of the TV.
It’s in a convenient location to the local attractions while removed enough to provide a respite from the crowds. The price was very reasonable, and with a few tweaks, it has the potential to complete, if not surpass, other hotels in the area.

My sister and I needed to book a hotel very last minute, we found this hotel online and decided to see it in person. The staff allowed us to tour a room before booking, (FYI: The rooms look exactly like the photos on their website) they answered questions and were all super nice and helpful. We were surprised with how much we liked this hotel, it was extremely clean, colorful, youthful, and modern. The hotel was quiet for the most part, the only issue was that you can hear room doors being closed and they are pretty loud, but that isn't something staff can really control. The hotel's location is great; only minutes from Sea World and Universal Studios. Taking the hotel's location into consideration it's clear that the price to book a room is incredible; it's also important to note that the hotel also has free parking for its guest. I would highly recommend this hotel to others, and I will surely be staying here again on my next trip to Orlando. (March 2021)

This is a fairly new hotel. Unfortunately it’s also fairly noisy. Lots of hard surfaces which means sounds carry in the rooms and in the halls. It’s also close to the interstate so you have traffic noise
In the evening you will have to go someplace to eat - there’s not a restaurant on site there is a bar and there’s a bunch of junk food for sale. There’s really no place that you could walk to either you will either have to drive or get a car service and at peak times Uber in Orlando is very expensive. Breakfast was good
But any hotel who still using the its covid so we can’t clean your room every day excuse should just be ashamed of themselves. You’re at full capacity, there are no restrictions on people at your breakfast area or in your bar or gyms, pools etc but you can’t clean my room? Really? This has nothing to do with Covid and everything to do with “we found a reason to save money and pretend we’re doing it because that’s what you want”.

Thank you CarolLeeAtlanta for your honest feedback about our hotel. I am so sorry to read about your disappointment with our location, and agree that Uber can be too expensive and therefore understand your desire for an onsite restaurant. The good news is Hilton has many other brands to choose from that do offer amazing restaurants on site; think Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn, Embassy Suites, Doubletree, Curio, just to name a few. I also wanted to apologize to you about the stayover housekeeping service. It sounds like we didn't communicate that well with you, as we do offer this service daily, by opting in. Thank you again for your time, and hope that you will consider us or another member of the Hilton family in the future. Dan Jordan General Manager

This was my first stay at a Tru property and I was pleased with the stay. The room was very new and modern feeling. It was perfectly clean. Yes, the rooms are small, but we were only here for one night and found the room to be fun and sufficient. Small desk and no dresser, but the storage racks and hooks are very functional. I liked the large window and we found the bed to be extremely comfortable, honestly one of the best we've had at a Hilton property recently.
Bathroom was spacious and clean. Good water pressure with interesting squeeze wall-mounted soap dispensers. Rooms on the front side of the hotel have views of Seaworld towards the right.
We had checked in online, so we had limited interactions with the staff, but they were always friendly when passing thru the lobby.
Breakfast was decent considering COVID. It consisted of a breakfast box with a bagel, yogurt and two hard-boiled eggs. There were toppings for the bagels along with fruit and muffins packaged separately. Free, decent coffee available 24/7.
Overall, we found this to be an excellent value for one night. With tax, we paid about $75 and were very satisfied with our stay. I would happily stay at this or another Tru property again for a short stay,

Tru Hotels are super cool and unique while still being fairly affordable. This Orlando location is extra nice because it’s about a 10 minute drive from the Universal theme parks. And they’re pet friendly!
Everything was immaculate when we visited. Clean, crisp room, actually cool carpet in the hallways, and an adorable lobby with a fun customized mural. They have a great free breakfast and a big workout room. Oh, and the pool is pretty great too.
One thing to watch out for is that when finding it this hotel is a tiny bit hidden. It’s very easy to drive past because the sign is small and can’t be seen across the road due to a row of tall trees. This is a really nice option to stay in Orlando!

The hotel was VERY CLEAN!! I cannot complain there. This was our first trip since 2019 due to the pandemic. So, we felt it was time to venture out. I appreciated the carpet free rooms! The rooms were VERY clean but small. They gave me a minimalist college dorm feel. There was no closet just 6 hooks on a wall and a few hangers over the small fridge that had a little table over it. The microwaves are in the lobby which is very inconvenient. If you needed to heat up some leftovers or drink some warm tea, you had to go downstairs for it. The first floor had the water bottle refill station which was a nice option to avoid spreading germs. The first floor also had disposable ice buckets, but that was the only floor with the buckets. The ice machines are on every floor. The front desk attendant described it as a hostel feel. I am not into the “trendy style” of this hotel. The hand soap & shampoo were a large refillable bottle. I didn’t care for that either. We could hear the highway all night. This place is more for a younger traveler. There was no restaurant on site, and only snacks for sale. There were a few board games for kids, but nothing else for little ones. The hotel is located in a great spot to access everything nearby, but you’ll need transportation. Overall it met our needs of a clean room and clean facilities

Matt who typically worked every night we were there (at the front counter) was fantastic. We were there from Thursday thru Sunday. Matt was very responsive to questions and allowed us to switch rooms due to a noise problem.
That noise problem came from another guest leaving the hotel for hours out of time and their small dog barking non-stop. I blame the dog owner for this problem and not the hotel. This hotel is pet friendly so those things can happen.
Tru Hilton did a great job with COVID and safety as everyone wore masks, breakfast was served in to go boxes and rooms used were spaced out from one another.
The doors for the rooms shut loud so if you are a light sleeper, you might get woke up in the morning when people leave their rooms.
There was a contactless check-in option if you downloaded the Hilton app. I couldn't get it to work but I also didn't bring it up at the hotel either.
I think this is great value, newer hotel, in a sea of hotels for the area. It is close to Seaworld and Universal Studios but I don't think too terribly far for Disney. You probably will have around a 20 minute or less commute to any of those attractions. We didn't visit any of those attractions but saw signs for them nearby.
Since there is so many hotels in this area, be careful driving as the congestion and unsafe driving is heavier in this general area than other parts of Orlando. I think this is due to the amount of out of town people congregated in one area.

I did a last minute booking for the Tru by Hilton Orlando Convention Center, as I had to change some of my holiday plans while Hurricane Ian passed through the area. I stayed at a few hotels this trip, and I honestly can't think of anywhere I would've felt safer or more secure while the bad weather passed by. Tru will definitely be one of the first hotels I consider for future trips.
I arrived at the hotel very early, as I wanted to avoid going out in the afternoon once the weather worsened. They checked me in and let me go to the room straight away. The welcome I received was so warm and friendly, I immediately felt at home and knew I was in good hands. Lots of Americans were also in the hotel, many of them with their pets, so it really felt like a home from home and a place of safety during the storm.
The rooms are quite compact, but they're so well designed you really don't feel there's a lack of space. The hotel and rooms are all very modern and comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. The bathroom has a great, large shower cubicle and the toiletries are all good quality. The bed was comfortable and I got a pretty good sleep, only woken up by the noise of the wind at the height of the storm.
I thought the breakfast selection was good, and they provide coffee in the lobby area all day if you want it. For breakfast there was a nice selection of cereals, hot and cold items. Considering the hotel was full or nearly full, everything seemed to be flowing well and didn't feel too overcrowded.
They turned off the lifts on the evening of the storm, handed out torches in case we lost power, and made several announcements of the emergency tannoy system. Everything about this hotel felt well thought out and extremely safe - I still can't get over how well they handled the situation.

We stayed at this property July 3-11 2021. I made my reservations here because it was where a group of my friends were staying for a national conference on July 9 f 10 so we opted to stay at the same location for our entire trip. The front desk staff were always nice. (Shout out to Ian who remembered my name every time!) The bed was comfortable but in general, this hotel was not what I’m used to with the Hilton name. The rooms were practically bare. No drawers or closets and no where to put suitcases up on so they were on the floor the entire time. This made it difficult to find things I packed. There was no ice bucket or cups in the room, but you had to go to the lobby area to get a plastic bucket to put ice in. It sweated and made a wet mess. We called for housekeeping and they never came while we were out for the afternoon so I had to request it again….and this time, they entered the room and left clean towels and bedding on the bed and left. Never took trash, never refilled toilet paper. Nothing. Needless to say, we dared not to ask for housekeeping again and did our best to make due. The breakfast was good every morning. I still haven’t received an email receipt of our charges for our stay so I suppose I’ll have to contact the property again to get one.

The room did not have any, and I did not see any on the premises, but I was not looking to do laundry during my short stay.
