If it is a weekday the odds are in your favor but, in a weekend there is really limited chances of early check in but. They will hold your bags so that you can enjoy the parks and then text you when your room is ready.

No less than 60 minutes but I would be aiming for at least 90 minutes prior to opening, especially for Magic Kingdom. You'll want to beat the crowds before going through security or be stuck in with the masses.
