The Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek garners praise for its friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere, with guests often appreciating the clean, comfortable rooms and the resort's variety of amenities, including multiple pools and dining options. However, while the hotel's location near Disney parks is a highlight, some visitors have expressed concerns over extra charges, which they feel don't match the value provided. Additionally, while cleanliness is generally applauded, a few guests have pointed out occasional lapses in housekeeping.

This resort was amazing. My family and I came for disney during christmas time and had a great stay here. A few things to note that may not be on their site, or in their emails. You pay for parking every single night. It doesnt matter if you do self parking or valet, you pay. Also, I highly would recommend the free breakfast option, otherwise you're paying upwards of $70 for a family of 4 for a basic buffet breakfast and i mean pretty basic. The resort had a great pool, great staff, and very nice rooms. Daily room refreshes were great so we always had towels and empty trash cans, which were very nice. The location is the best thing abour the resort since you're technically on disney property and dont have to deal with the I4 traffic nightmares in the mornings and nights. Highly recommend, but pay close attention to the details of your room, and what you are getting, and be aware of the extra fees!

The lobby was impressive, and parking was plentiful, though expensive! The resort was expansive, sharing amenities with other sister-hotels around the large central lake. Due to this, you have the luxury of choosing from multiple pools scattered around the picturesque lake and stunning grounds and surroundings.

Our room was sizable, with a fairly contemporary design and a comfy bed, however the toilet/shower room were tiny, although there is a separate vanity area which was of good size. It featured a balcony, which we didn’t use as we didn’t have much of a view. Despite the 4-star rating, the housekeeping left much to be desired – during our 4-night stay, bins were sometimes not emptied, towels weren’t always replaced, and while the bed was made, it was made to varying standards each day. A thorough cleaning seemed to occur only every three days. We did complain about the lack of housekeeping at the time to which the management team provided a solution to the issue, but overall when stopping at a hotel of this standard and paying the corresponding price, you expect a high level of service, which sadly this hotel fell short.

The pool area was a hit, complete with slides for the little ones and hot tubs for relaxation and multiple lazy rivers for that added fun. However, our attempt to order poolside via QR code was unsuccessful which resulted in a visit to the bar. Pool staff taking orders would be a nice touch and improvement. We opted for the Breakfast Buffet on one of the days, this offered a decent spread but didn’t quite live up to its cost or our expectations for a resort of this standard, the waitress service for drinks was very slow.

Nonetheless, the resort’s proximity to all the Disney parks was unbeatable and we would definitely stay here again and would also highly recommend if you are looking for a hotel with that luxurious feel.

We stayed at the Wyndham for 9 nights and we loved it! We had an amazing room with a view of the pool and we loved watching the Disney fireworks from our balcony. Olivia on reception was incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her, she always welcomed us each day with a smile and was amazing at her job. We went to the sushi rest for dinner to celebrate our birthdays and the food was lovely! Very nice sushi that was original and very fresh. The Disney shuttle busses were brilliant, each day you can go down and get the bus for free to each of the different parks or Disney springs, this saved a lot of money on Ubers. This hotel is close to Disney, universal and discovery cove- they are all within 10 minute drive. The pool was lovely and we enjoyed relaxing around it a few days after walking around Disney. We absolutely loved our stay here and to make it even more special we got engaged here so we will never forget this holiday. Thank you again, Kirsty & Joe

To begin with, the resort and grounds are nice but need some updating to their decor and appearance but there are plenty of restaurants and a nice coffee shop. Also, my husband really liked the fitness center. However, on the downside, I paid for a room with 2 queen beds with a “view” but instead got a room with 2 full beds and a “view” of other room’s balconies. The transportation to the Disney parks was limited to only a few select times thru out the day and not as accessible as from other hotels “on property”. The pool was under construction, unbeknownst to us, and the parking fee was horrendous, especially for a hotel that was clearly not full and owns its own parking garage. The water in the shower never got more than lukewarm and took forever to heat up. We are frequent visitors to Disney from South Florida and typically stay at one of the Disney properties but chose this location this time for its close proximity and for what seemed like a good price, which turned out not to be the case with the ridiculous charge for parking. The limited transportation to the parks meant we had to do more driving than usual which we hate to do and makes it more stressful. As a longtime Disney World visitor, I would not recommend this location if your planning to spend a lot of time at the parks.

Staff: The staff we saw were very helpful but it often felt like no one worked there. Why did I have a $39 daily resort fee when there are no activities to speak of? Basically $39 towel service at the pool.

Cleanliness: Absolutely spotless. 10/10

Pool: We visited two of the pools and my kids loved them. The pool next door to the hotel has a pirate ship and slide which was great. However, every single seat at the pool was taken up with a towel even though there are signs not to save seats. In the two hours we were there on a Friday afternoon, no one ever sat in them and of course, not a staff member to be found.

Food: Food is the biggest gap for the hotel. The buffet and coffee shop were great. But there is no room service until 4pm and it has about 5 items on it. For a 4 star hotel, this is kind of astounding to me. There is also no food service at the pool. You can order at the bar or the grill but no wait staff.

Room: The beds have 1 tiny blanket on them and nothing extra in the room. We had to call housekeeping to even have a second tiny blanket. I know it's Florida but in the a/c I need actual bedding! Also no lotion or other amenities in the room. Just shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner bolted to the wall.

And $34 for self parking in their own garage. What a ripoff. So basically plan to pay an extra $73 for towels and parking your own car.

Beware of this place. They will nickel and dime you to death. Plan for an extra $70 a day on top of your per night price for parking and resort fees. Employee at check in conveniently failed to mention the resort fees when we checked in. Just saw them on the bill available on your TV. They also require a $100 per day of reservation deposit. For their onsite room service, you’ll pay a delivery fee and an automatic 22% gratuity.

The room is fine. Bathroom could use a deep cleaning, the grout is grody and black in some places. We did sit at the pool and use one of the lazy rivers. That was pretty enjoyable.

The bed isn’t very soft. Otherwise the room is comfortable.

Perfect hotel where you won't be short of anything. Employees are very friendly, rooms are very neat, but could use a makeover sometime in the near future. Breakfast, lunch and dinner options are ample and good. And even more different options on the resort grounds, such as Mexican food.

Swimming pools perfect for kids, multiple choices for every age.

Parking is easy in the private garage for a small amount per day. Shuttle to the parks is ideal and the hotel is close to everything.

The area where the hotel is located is very quiet, perfect after a long day in the hustle and bustle of the Disney parks.

Great choice in a more upscale part of Orlando.

After reading the reviews I was pleasantly surprised with the level of service that we received. The valet service was amazing and always had our car waiting for us when we called down to have it brought to the front. The housekeeping staff was very attentive when we needed extra towels and came everyday to clean and change towels. The view from the balcony was beautiful especially during the morning great place to sit and drink your morning coffee. I just wish they had a microwave to heat up our leftovers from our dinners. They do have a mini refrigerator, but not a microwave.
I think the best part of our trip was the lifeguard, Mark, at the pirate ship pool. My kids and I were really the only ones at the pool that day and Mark started up a conversation with us and was laughing with my kids. He really was just the nicest person. Made sure my kids and I were being safe, but also being a nice guy and laughing with us having fun in the pool and on the slide. We had a great experience and will defiantly be staying here again.

There is nothing bad about this hotel, but there is not very much good either. It is just average. However for the cost I would have expected a bit more however our dollar did not convert to much in US dollars. The hotel check in was smooth and you get given way too much information to absorb. We booked this hotel because it had a family room that slept 5, which is unusal. It did sleep 5 comfortably, with one set of bunk beds, however you comprimise on the bacony as family rooms dont have a balcony. The windows were also being cleaned so our view was blocked. The staff are not very attentative and are not very present. The room is well appointed, however small for a family of five. House keeping never completed everything once (and we stayed for 9 nights). They either forgot to replace the tea, or fill up the shampoo and conditioner which was empty for 3 days, replace the drinking cups, there was always something not done. The hotel shares with 5 other hotels/timeshare so there is a lot of food choice, although most of it not very healthy. A salad is pretty hard to find unless you are dining in the seafood/sushi restaurant. The food in most restaurants was small in size and underwhelming. The hotel is designed for children and not for adults at out all. The pools are very kid friendly but we did find it hard to find towels regularly. There is a lot of choice when it comes to pools as you share with other hotels. Our children are slightly older but still had a good time as they love anything to do with water. My teenager and I not so much. We found the shuttle times to Disneyland inconvenient - pick up was 3ish or 8ish and fireworks at 9 so didnt fit in there. We didnt get the fun shuttle bus driver that we had read so much about in reviews previously. The resort is lovely to walk around and there is a lot to see and at night we saw rabbits and there are signs around advising what the fish are in the lake. I dont really have any tips for this hotel. It is very large, a lot of rooms, a lot of people, light on staff and we hired a car to get around. It is not in a convenient location for public transport, so a car is necessary. They also charge about $30US for parking per day and about $40US for Valet parking

Great experience! My family came here for Doug Flutie Jr. for Autism Foundation event “STARS on the Spectrum.” My son, Milosz, a pianist with autism performed at the closing ceremonies of the Gulf on the Spectrum.
We had breakfast at the Tesoro Cove where the staff went over and beyond to accommodate my son who is gluten and dairy intolerant. Sonya, the chef, made for him an omelette (new pan to avoid gluten and dairy contamination). Heather, our waitress got him gluten and dairy free bagel and muffin. She was super sweet and professional at the same time! What a great experience to start our day!
Thank you!
I highly recommend Tesoro Cove
