Although we've stayed at the Wilderness Lodge before, we weren't sure what to expect with Boulder Ridge being a DVC property. Other DVC properties we had toured seemed to have little personality or theming. I'm happy to say that Boulder Ridge truly feels like an...More
We were here for 4 nights on the back end of our 12 night stay in Disney. We are so glad we chose this hotel. I think this is new favourite Disney hotel. I have always loved it but never spent a lot of time...More
Stayed here during a one week visit to Walt Disney World. We came during the 1st half of November, thus Christmas decorations were not yet in place in all of the parks and hotels. However, since the Magic Kingdom is having Mickey Very Merry Christmas...More
The name may have changed and the rooms have received make overs, but the resort is still one of Disney's best kept secrets. Quiet and comfortable and just a 10 minute boat ride to the Magic Kingdom, the Contemporary or the Fort Wilderness Campground. The...More
Though we've been DVC members for 14 years, this was the first time we booked at Wilderness Lodge. We were unable to get into the new section called Copper Creek, but we ended up actually happy about that because we loved Boulder Ridge. The villa...More

Boulder Ridge is very small so not many units. They sell out quickly. David’s will help you to add the dining plan. Buy tickets from Undercover Tourist. I have rented many times.

I've seen them in the past here and other resorts but not on this past trip. I believe the hotel is on conservation land and its next to a big lake. So yes there is snakes and it's Florida (there's gators and snakes everywhere). Just need to be on the lookout (read the signs posted) and you should be fine. I've traveled to Disney over 40 times and never had an issue. Have you been to Florida before?
Hi, honestly, I have never had a bad one! Depends on what you like. I have stayed on first floor, second floor, close to lobby, farthest from lobby - all are good! If you like it there, I don't think you can go wrong... More
Hi, honestly, I have never had a bad one! Depends on what you like. I have stayed on first floor, second floor, close to lobby, farthest from lobby - all are good! If you like it there, I don't think you can go wrong. I'm a DVC member - just bought more points at Copper Creek - Disney's new Wilderness units at the Lodge. This place is my favorite anywhere. Have fun!
