the shower very dirty and leaking water, the sofa bed dirty sheets and insects, the rooms without vacuuming dirty floors. Was first time in this resort but we don't came back again sorry They need to monitor the rooms before renting to families.

If you want some peace and quiet, this off-campus Westgate facility is a great spot. Minutes from Sea World. It has a pond in the midst of complexes (no more than a three-story building. If you plan to utilize the main Westgate Resort you will have to drive about 10 minutes. Miguel and Valeria were superb, they handled my concerns professionally and timely. The pool by my building was smaller than I'd Like but then again, I could always go to main Resort.

The location couldn't get better for any park you wanted to go to. Easy access from most major routes and minutes drive to Disney, Seaworld , Universal and all else. The renovations being done here are really from the bottom up. We loved our signature 2 bedroom Villa and only wish we could have stayed longer. The staff was so kind and ridiculously attentive. I am on a diet and drink fresh fruit smoothies every morning. I stopped in to request a blender and found staff pulling up to my building with one before we could drive back ourselves. The check in was late but they were waiting and cheerful and it took 5 minutes. The grounds were lovely . Not as spread out as the Westgate lakes but also not as crowded. The fountains and lights were really beautiful to come back to at night . The pool and jacuzzi were heated and there are 2 of each so never crowded . The pool could use a daily vacuum but I am fussy about that .Towels were at the pool and plenty of loungers to lay about on for a lazy day with two covered tables . The washer and dryer on suite is always a wonderful addition and makes it sooooo convenient. Less luggage to lug around when you can wash every couple of days. Two full baths and a balcony worked fine for letting the breeze in and jumping into the shower after a swim .All around a great stay. Loved it .

The resort is very small, however the unit we were in was completely renovated. Everything was new. I don't know if the mattress was new, or simply poor quality. The rooms are very small. The master BR has a master bed, but you have to walk sideways between the wall and the bed. The second BR has 2 town beds. The kitchen could have used a little more stocking. No pot holders, baking sheet, cooking tray, or serving spoons. There was a service for 6 and that was it. We were at the second pool that is not near the main check in center. It worked out great for us since my husband was at a conference all week and I stayed in the unit and cought up on work I needed to do. We did go in the hot tub once and it was very nice. We walked around the main pool, and there are some things to do like hopscotch, floats for the pool, checkers and chess. The second smaller pool had a sprouting fountain which would be great for toddlers and younger. I never saw anything about resort activities. Everyone was very nice and friendly. The biggest issue I had was trying to call the resort. I needed to call because I was requesting a ground floor room, and I was bringing my service dog. I tried for hours and no one would answer the phone. When you call, it goes through a main system for all of the Westwood Resorts across the country. I got so fed up, that I called RCI and they had a number to connect me to a live person who then transferred me to a live person at the resort. Additionally, we tried to call the main desk from our room for more toilet paper. We used the room phone and pressed "housekeeping". We were connected to the same annoying answering system where no one answered. We tried twice. When we checked out, my room bill was sent via email. Whern I looked at it, we were charged .75 for 2 long distance calls!!! I couldn't even bother to fight them on it because I wasn't about to go through the entire answering system again and have no one answer. I would recommend the resort because it is close to all of the Disney parks, and the Orange County Conference Center.

Just checking in, my experience was amazing. I was so calmed and I felt so welcome by (unsure of her name) Alana? Customer service/ front desk/registrar/amazing person. I am so impressed with her grace. She had been working more than 12 hours by the time I was so lucky to check in at her station. BOTH of the women working had such amazing attitudes during the time I was checking in. I could tell the lobby had been insanely busy with so many people from Pinellas and Hillsborough checking in. *Thank you, if you see this. your demeanor and the way you carried yourself was so calming. You have no idea the things that I have been going through recently and just you being so kind and understanding after 12+ hours was awesome.* -the grounds were very nice. rooms had everything you need, slightly dated. elevator was kind of far. they do allow pets but there is a $100 fee. the hotel is up in the cut, seems like an old apartment building. the reason they received 5 stars and not 4 was the customer service.

The Westgate Leisure Resort was renovated. Having no carpet was a plus! The front desk workers were knowledgeable and very helpful. Customer service was excellent! The housekeeping staff and the grounds keepers were the best. They had great work ethics! The Resort was clean and well maintained. We give this resort 5 stars. Now as to location, it is a short distance from Disney World, Sea World, Discovery Cove, Gatorland and many more attractions. The Florida highway department gets an A++ . They did an excellent job with left turn lights and turn lanes. Their excellent highways made traveling from the Westgate Leisure Resort very easy and safe. Let’s go grocery shopping: Publix, Walmart, and more. There is more than one Mall within a short distance. The Resort is surrounded by places to eat. Our favorite eating place was Golden Corral, because it served breakfast and it was open very late at night. This Resort meet every need, whether you are a single person traveling alone; a senior or young couple; or a family traveling with children. We loved our stay.

My husband & I really enjoyed our stay! I was nervous after reading some reviews but we had an updated room (I don’t know if they’re still working on others). Our room was very pretty and very clean. Short walk to the pool. The patios are covered/screened, which was nice. It was also nice to have a washer and dryer which was located in a closet off the patio. There were a lot of activities around the property. Oh and the property was beautiful and well maintained. The staff were all very nice. My ONLY complaint is that the water doesn’t get hot enough for me but I like really hot showers. It was okay though. They have towels by the pools for you. The pools are clean and WARM! Took us about 10 minutes to get to SeaWorld and roughly an hour to get to Cocoa Beach. If you like seafood boils, I recommend going to Crafty Crab, which was only 10 minutes away. The room service at the hotel is okay, but they only do lunch and dinner. We got Philly cheese stakes and they put ketchup on them, which we weren’t used to. We’d definitely stay here again or at other Westgate properties. Also, you can visit Westwood Lakes and the spa one, I think they offer shuttles or you can drive over only about 5 minutes. Other guests went there for some of their amenities.

It was OK. We arrived almost at midnight and were exhausted to say the least. I noticed then that whoever prepared our room, didn’t do a thorough job (hair on the kitchen counters, in the refrigerator and in the bathrooms; dish rack was dirty) so I cleaned our room myself before letting my family come in. The following morning, we learned there was a large gap between the main door and the floor (come on in lizards) and the toaster was on it’s last leg. Our door faced the (tiny) pool, so no privacy there and then the back windows faced the parking lot-again, no privacy so we heavily relied on the curtains while getting ready in the mornings. The master bathtub had a leak so every time we showered there was a large puddle on the floor. The space for the 5 of us (despite the room only sleeping 4 apparently) was sufficient and the beds were decent. We appreciated the unit having 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen. The location was very central so everything was easily accessible. Our saving grace was we didn’t stay in the room too often. After long days out and about, we came back, showered & slept and woke up to do it again. Had we had more than the full 1.5 days of just being in the room, I don’t think the space would have been sufficient for hanging out. Did it get the job done? Yes. Would I do it again? Probably not.

The advertised balcony is a public walkway, with people walking back and forth to their rooms. The bedroom has the pool looking directly into it. You cannot be in the bedroom with the blinds up because people walking down the walkway, look right in. The picture with the trash can in it was taken from outside the bedroom! I couldn't even enjoy the view, for people walking by looking in. They advertised sleeping 8, I get here with family, and there's only service for 6, and I'm told they only sleep 6. This is the absolute worst of the Westgate Resorts. Will never return. I am an almost 70 year old veteran, I reserved through the Armed Forces Vacation Club, and this was the best they could offer a veteran, shameful!

I enjoyed my stay at the Westgate Leisure Report. At first I was skeptical after reading some of the negative reviews. However, I was thoroughly impressed. The rooms were clean and updated. The gym was well maintained and had a variety of machines for a good workout. The grounds were nicely manicured and maintained throughout our stay. Would highly recommend and stay there again.
