The hotel itself wasn’t too bad for the price, all the normal stuff in a 2* hotel room, TV, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, hairdryer and a couple of beds etc.
But the house keeping staff really do need to pick up their game, the floor in the room was filthy and was not mopped over at all during our 10 days, and a couple of the days I was there ( how do I know....white socks) they didn’t even empty the bins and leave fresh toilet rolls or coffee and cups, so a trip to the front desk was required.
On the upside, it’s a quiet hotel with a nice and well looked after pool and I’d also like to say that if you need cheap Disney or universal tickets, go and see Dale in the reception area, he is a wealth of information, always willing to help and very friendly no matter what the question, he was able to save us lots of money on park tickets and I really really recommend that you pay him a visit if you are going to the parks! He is the man to talk to if you want to know the best fishing in the area or if you want to know about astronomy, in all honesty he was the highlight of this hotel in the “friendly” department.

Our stay has been very comfortable. I am in town for a conference, and brought my son and husband along. The beds are comfortable and the room is clean. I was pleasantly surprised that the floors in our room are not carpet, but laminate wood. It truly elevates the space and makes it much cleaner. The television is relatively small, but there is a microwave and a fridge for our added convenience. The bathroom sink area could use a partition, for a little added privacy. The washroom with the shower and toilet are obviously dated, but the water pressure was good and the toilet flushed fine. There are no USB charging ports, but there are a few outlets around the beds and one in the sink area. Overall, I’m pleased with the room and the service from the desk. It’s a quick 10 minute walk to the convention center and close to a Publix and restaurants.

I’ll start by stating my boss booked this, I was not aware or given a choice.
Outside doors
Super loud and no weather stripping on door
Fire trucks/emergency vehicles direct route right out front
Pool view but highway loudness
Apparently gone are the days of a small coffee maker, facial tissues, bar soap, a glass/cups or an ice bucket (yet they have ice machines).
You get minis: 1 shampoo and 1 conditioner
There were no towels, one single thin blanket and someone else traveling with me didn’t even get the shampoo or conditioner or even toilet paper in her room. Both Elevators only worked 1/4 the time. It sounded like I was in West Palm Beach, with all of the helicopter “tours” flying overhead.

It’s outdated- 12 layers of paint on textured walls yet a new vinyl plank/laminate floor, bed and hot shower. For the “perks” you get an empty mini fridge, microwave, alarm clock, table phone, and hairdryer. Bathroom tiles in a bit of disrepair and spackled over. No housekeeping daily which I actually don’t mind but it means you have to call for replacement tp or towels- or if you didn’t have any to start.

15 minute walk to convention center

Suggestion, Days inn: put the floors on each wall as you come up the stairs, so we know if we have to hoof it another flight or two yet.

This is a roadside motel style hotel. I am met my husband here for a night as I was heading home from a trip and he was going into Orlando for a conference (we live 2 hours away). I was hoping for a nice relaxing night together as we hadn't seen each other in over a week. Well that went out the window the minute I walked in the door. The desk clerk told me they had two rooms left. Both had 2 double beds.

Rooms open to the outside which I don't like, especially here in Florida as there is always a crack under the door (which there was), that allows lizards and bugs in.

The first two things I noticed when I walked in was 1. NO carpeting in the room.(between this and the crack in the door on the coldest night of the year, it was unpleasant to say the least) Its laminate flooring made to look like wood. and 2. THE SMELL. This hotel is connected to an Ihop and the room reeked of bacon grease. (disgusting for this vegan). I mean REEKED. After 2. hours in the room I could still smell it and had to call the front desk to ask for some air freshener spray.

The room is very small, again 2 double beds, which are so high at 5'1" I can hardly get into them. There is maybe 18" between the end of the bed and the TV stand. There is a desk with a chair.

There is NO closet, only a 2 foot long (if that) hanging bar for clothes with a beat up safe sitting in the open under it.

Room has a small TV; no TV guide on the TV or in the room.

There is a refrigerator and Microwave as well as an iron.

The bathroom title was grungy and the sound of the toilet flushing was like a jet taking off.

Very basic, no frills room. Would never stay here again.

I'm extremely disappointed and if I hadn't just come off a 17 hour train ride, and every hotel in the area booked for a conference I would be OUT OF HERE.

For the money, this hotel is the best priced in the area of international drive.
The rooms had the most comfiest beds I've ever stayed in. Didn't want to get out of the bed most of the mornings. There is a fridge, microwave, desk, and an ice machine on each level. The pool area was great. Pool was large and clean. Fresh towels are available at the poolside and you can relax on the sun lounges.
Reception staff were helpful. Check in was done smoothly and we were able to get checked in early as our room was already ready.
There was a guest service desk available at reception where we purchased tickets for the parks. We ended up saving $200 just booking through Dale instead of online and even got Volcanic Bay for free. Dale was so helpful and very friendly. Our experience there gave the hotel the extra star on this review. We also did NASA for the day and Paul, our guide, was equally as lovely. He had fantastic knowledge of the space centre.
The hotel is close to restaurants and amenities. Walgreens is just across the road. Only a 15/20 min walk into the centre of international drive. The bus stop is right outside the hotel if you don't want to walk ($2 one way). It goes all the way to Orlando airport (Number 111 and 42 Lynx bus). The hotel also provides a free shuttle service to Universal Studios and Disney.
There is an ihop attached to the hotel also that is open 24/7.
The only thing I would say is that due to Covid they don't clean your room. You have to request the room to be clean and room service isn't great. We wanted toilet paper brought to our room and we had to ring down to reception 4 times which is ridiculous. I understand about the safety protocols with Covid but I think it's more of a case of lazyitis instead, lol.
Wifi was OK. It did jump in and out every now and then and you have to keep signing in all the time which gets pretty annoying, especially when we stayed there for 10 days. If you ring reception they can sort the problem out quick enough though.
All in all, I honestly think this hotel is great. Much more reasonable priced than the other hotels on international drive. I would stay here again if I were going back.

Im not sure who is managing this place, but I feel sorry for each and every employee who is just trying to keep this place running. Even though it is falling apart, the employees are extremely helpful and friendly. Im only sorry that the Days Inn executives feel this place doesn't need refreshing to make their employees day easier. We had a large double room, but even though there are two double beds (not queens) there are not enough furnishings for 4 people and all their stuff to share. All the empty space could have been used for a closet and larger dresser. Overall, the rooms and hotel need to be brought up to current expectations of customers. The TV was only the size of a computer monitor and the taped up remote wouldn't change channels unless we stood on the bed..which by the way is 3 foot tall!!! The air conditioner sounded like a freight train all night long. Floor had damage and all the bathroom caulking was in need of repair. When our bathroom fan started making noise, we tried to pull out the filter, only to find it jammed with junk. Our room was clean, but we did have several neighbors leaving because of the state of their rooms. Pool was clean and seemed updated though.
Disappointing as this is not the standard I expect of Days Inn.

The stay was satisfactory, The beds were good and the sheets were clean. Maid service was every other day, which should have been mentioned or better yet, give the customers the option whether to get it done every day of every other day. The room was clean although it needs some updating. I notice that the bathroom door frame was rotted at the bottom that it needs work done on it. The toilet is old and need to be updated so that it does not require too much water when you use it. The complementary coffee tray was on the bathroom sink, where it was too crowded when there were two of us using it, it can be moved somewhere else where it opens up the bathroom counter.

This is by far the worst hotel we've ever stayed at. The area the hotel is in is ok. Not the greatest, but not the worst. The little or smaller man at the front desk was snide. The ppl who live here sitting out blocking the walk ways smoking pot all day. The fire alarms kept going off EVERY night at random times. Not for long, just long enough to wake you and scare the crap out of you. The shower tiles were mildewed and not clean (Please hotel spray some vinegar on it and scrub clean). We got 2 exact same rooms for the exact same times and were charged 2 different prices. The cleaning manager woman was banging on our door at 10:30am, even though check out wasn't until 11am. Never again.

NO STARS! Hotel is awful. All the rooms stink, moldy mildew. There is NO housekeeping to service the room if you stay less than 3 nights, (they will bring you new towels if you ask) if more than 3 nights you have to ask 24 hours in advance. Beds are not comfortable. Fridge leaks. No coffee. It's outdoor access to rooms, noisy. NO security. Elevator was scary and jerky. The only restaurant at hotel is the IHOP and there was literally 1 cook and 1 waitress for the entire restaurant.

Stayed there for two nights this past weekend. Our checkout time was at 11am on sunday morning. & from 9am-11am housekeeping would not leave us alone. first we saw a shadow of someone outside our curtains & we pulled the curtains back & housekeeping literally had their hands on our window with they’re hands on the glasses trying to see, then we opened the door to see what was going on & they told us check out is at 11 when we knew that and it was only 9am. the second time, they came & DID NOT KNOCK, housekeeping scanned their card for our door while my boyfriend & i were in bed watching tv, luckily i heard it scan and we weren’t changing or anything, but they just opened the door very slowly & quietly & as soon as i made contact with her, she closed our door and didn’t say anything. are you kidding me? really unprofessional & made me uncomfortable. if this happened the first night & not the morning of checkout, i would have left.
