We stayed for 12 nights. Nicole checked us in upon arrival and found us a lovely room overlooking the pool. The hotel is gorgeous. Very clean and nicely decorated. We didn’t eat at the hotel but the breakfast and food smelt lovely. Ian from Food and Beverage was always very friendly and chatty which made us feel very welcome. The hotel have a ‘tell us when you want your room cleaned’ rule rather than them clean it every day. This was fine. We told reception when we wanted our room cleaned or wanted clean towels, more coffee etc and it worked well. All of the staff were so lovely and friendly. The pool area is very nice and clean and never too busy - nice fresh pool towels available. My husband would have preferred the pool to be cooler as it’s obviously heated (to be fair it was March!) Maybe the pool bar could sell aluminium bottles of beer rather than have to put a glass bottle in a plastic cup - not a problem but just to keep it cooler. We had a fantastic stay and have absolutely no criticisms. The hotel is a great location for all that’s on offer on International Drive. Thank you to all the staff - we will be back. Oh I nearly forgot. From about 16.00 each day there are fresh chocolate chip cookies on reception!! They were gorgeous and I’m missing my daily cookie already.

What can you say about a hotel that is perfect in very way. From the front desk staff, to the bartenders, doorman and bellhop there is not a frown to be had. Our room was not only spacious and well appointed it was white glove clean. It was probably the first hotel that I did not feel the need to wipe and/or spray everything in the room. Not a hair or dust speck anywhere. We randomly chose this hotel for our Orlando trip and are so glad we did. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate to take advantage of the pool but hopefully on our return visit we will be able to take the plunge. After having stayed in so many mega hotels it was a pleasant change to be in a smaller, more intimate one. There is a coffee station set up in the lobby in the morning and, a particularly nice touch, there is a "snack" bar set up there in the afternoon. No more searching for a hotel on our next trip to Orlando; the Castle will be our home away from home.

A great stay! Danny at the front desk was exceptional from the point of check-in throughout our stay. He is very friendly and inviting made you feel very welcome. The doorman was just as inviting each time we came back and I can’t say enough about the housekeeping it seemed we had the same lady each morning as we would need additional towels and coffee. She was very sweet and helpful and didn’t seem to be bothered of our request which was very nice. The breakfast at the hotel was very overpriced as it seemed no more than what used to be offered as a continental breakfast. I do not recommend breakfast at this hotel.

The Castle is in a great location, essentially across the street from the new Epic Universe opening in May 2025 and down the street from the other Universal parks and the Convention Center.
There is tons of walkable and short drivable food options at low and higher end price points.
It definitely is geared more towards adults or older kids, not a ton to do for younger kids on property.
I get that hotels everywhere now are charging for parking, but it frustrates me to no end when I paid $25+ to park the car in just a regular, unsecured parking lot. At least put some gates up so it feels like I’m getting something for the parking fee.
Other than parking, we had a great stay and would stay here again if the need arose.

We had a really great stay, we used the hotel as a base for exploring Orlando, following a cruise for our honeymoon. Hotel is more modern style for America which was nice, staying in New York previously, most hotels are outdated, The Castle Hotel wasn’t. Even walking past other hotels on International Drive we knew we had made the right choice as we prefer a modern streamlined style. The hotel felt magical but not gimmicky, Castle theme carried throughout hotel quite well.
We had to extend our stay due to hurricane Milton, we couldn’t travel home. Lisa on reception was extremely courteous and helpful with rearranging our stay for extension. She was able to settle any anxiety and left us feeling in safe hands. She was able to offer us the best rate through the hotels official rates (which worked out cheaper than other major providers online). Overall handling of hurricane was great by staff. They were all helpful and continued to provide professional service in a difficult time, which we really appreciate and respect.
Hotel location within walking distance to international drive attractions. We will definitely return in the future again for exploring Orlando.

The fake castle charm in the lobby is very kitschy; room was ok, the sink in the bathroom felt low , lower than average. Carpets in hallway and room could use a solid shampoo treatment. Location is good for convention center and easy access to I4 to connect to all else. $25 for parking on the parking lot that nobody is left a bad impression. It was ok, not sure I would stay there again. Why can’t they have AC units in hotel rooms that don’t keep you awake all night?

The Castle Hotel offers a calming and less hectic lodging experience than the typical hotel in the Orlando area. The staff in particular is extremely polite and pleasant. The hotel itself is very well maintained and has solid in-house dining options for both breakfast and lunch. One of our servers, Boris, was particularly great and provided excellent service and always looked to accommodate our dining requests/needs.

There are better places to stay in this price range. Generally, the hotel is ok. Good location, but certain aspects of the hotel are in desperate need of updating. The bathrooms are in dire need. Handles are loose, falling off in my case. The toilet is about 12” off the floor and the sink is very low. It’s almost as if it were designed for a 5’ tall person! Also, bring your own toiletries. It appears they possibly got a great bulk purchase price on toiletries from Wish.com. They are small, generic, and cheap. Imagine something you would expect from a cheap motel….rather than what you expect from a Marriott property.
Despite requesting housekeeping for the duration of my 4 night stay, I found my room was not cleaned after day one. That evening, I stopped at the front desk and informed them and asked if my room could be cleaned the next day. After a long day of work the next day, I returned to find my room wasn't made up yet again! i angrily callee the front desk to inform them and was told I was not on the list.
After returning from work after day 3, my room was finally made up. Finally!
On a positive note, David from the bar/restaurant was fantastic. And I must mention Joe, the door man. He put a smile on our faces every day.

I booked this hotel for my birthday weekend to feel like a princess. I actually felt like a queen! I'm in love with this hotel, I can't believe I have never seen it before. Hands down, this one of the best hotels I've stayed in Orlando.
The location is prefect, next to all the restaurants, Icon park, 10 minutes from Unverisal Studios and 19 minutes from Epcot. The room was spacious, nicely decorated and super clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows as well. It was so hard to get up in the morning.
The shower was awesome, with an overhead rain type shower as well as a separate hand held shower head with great pressure.
I really liked the roof-top terrace with amazing views of I-Drive attractions on the 9th floor.
A special thank you to Christiana for your beautiful smile, and kindness shown while checking me in. I truly loved my surprise with the balloons, chocolate and the hand written card.(she definitely made my night)! Every time you walk into the Hotel by the front desk, you are greeted with a smile and offered great service.

There were daily parking fees. Since we flew in & Ubered, I am unsure of what the daily rate was. Also not sure last time it was renovated, but they were working on things when we were there in April. The lobby area was nice, but the rest of the hotel was not. That was my family’s opinion, anyway.
There are more places to choose from in the Orlando area.
