Stayed here overnight to catch a plane home. We started staying here a few years ago because it's very convenient especially when taking early morning flights. Service is very good and the price is reasonable.
Air Canada cancelled our flight in the middle of the night and moved it to the following day, so when we woke up in the morning, we had to scramble to find a place to stay. We decided to spend the extra and stay at the Hyatt since it is right in the airport. The hotel was beautiful and had a great rooftop pool where you could see airplanes taking off. We had booked the hotel at 9am, and we're able to check in at 11am when we arrived. The check in agent mentioned because I was a rewards club member, they would waive the early check in fee, so beware of that. However, I had only signed up for the rewards program that morning at the same time I booked the hotel, so it's worth signing up for just for that. Our room was really nice, big bed and tv, mini fridge etc, it also had a balcony that you couldn't access. The glass doors said they were locked for our safety.. so that was a little strange. Either way, we could look right down and see how long the security lines were, so for our early morning flight it was very convenient to be able to walk right from your room to the security line. We didn't eat at the restaurant, as it was a bit pricier, but it looked really nice. From the hotel you can access a food court with some fast food restaurants, and a bunch of last minute shopping. …
Wonderful hotel right in the airport. It is blissfully quiet even with all the activity outside. Everything you expect from a Hyatt Regency-beautiful decor, casual and fine dining, superb service and spotlessly clean. Absolutely TOP NOTCH in every way. This hotel makes us more apt to choose Orlando for travel to/from Florida.
My family were visiting Orlando for a vacation and to celebrate my husband’s milestone birthday. We loved the convenience of this hotel. We were able to check in on the app as soon as our plane touched down and get to the hotel elevators just steps away from baggage claim. We were really looking forward to getting food and drinks at McCoys, the restaurant bar in their lobby as I read on their website that they had overnight hours (which was very appealing as our flight got in at 11:40 pm). However by the time we got our bags and put them in our room we arrived at McCoys around :12:05 and were told by the staff that they closed at midnight but we could still order food via room service. We were so disappointed but hungry too so we ordered room service and the food was delicious! The crawfish chowder was peri creamy and tasty and they didn’t skimp on the crawfish. We got the caprese sandwich and Caesar salad for my vegetarian daughter, and a pepperoni pizza for us. They forgot the pizza when they delivered but a simple phone call to the front desk quickly rectified this. This food was outstanding! My adult children also appreciated the gym on site that was open 24 hours. This location is super close to everything: arrival and departure gates, baggage claim, Starbucks, ride share pick up area, and shops.…
Very basic, but if you need to stay at the airport- it’s a convenient option. Booked a suite. Minimal, basic amenities for suite. No safe. When called and asked if room has no safe, they were surprised but answered: if there is no safe, then there is no safe. 1 cup of coffee for 3 adults. Not enough towels for everybody (we were 5 all together). Room faced the internal part of the terminal and it was very noisy at night (shouting - some sort of TSA training or something).
We went on a Disney Cruise and this hotel worked for that. Wish they had coffee or some sort of breakfast past 8:30am though. Over all 7/10… meh. The room was fine and everything was really clean. So that was a huge plus. When it came to our cruise the hotel really didn’t help much other than taking bags. Honestly they really didn’t help this first time cruiser with any info other than be in the lobby by 8:30am to talk with Disney. Again - convenient but meh.
Arrived late at night for a Disney trip with our granddaughter. Checked in quickly and had a large, clean room waiting for us. Made for an easy first day at Disney not having to get a rental car at 10 PM and driving to an offsite hotel. Highly recommended!
We always stay here when returning to Orlando. The Hotel is what you would expect of a Hyatt. Service is always good and the rooms are excellent. We like that the hotel has a quite zone and it is a very relaxing place to stay. Parking access is simple on the 4th floor of teh car park. II highly recommend te hotel if you are flying into Orlando long-haul, relax stay at the aireport for the night and set off refreshed teh next day.
Staff is friendly and efficient. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Incredibly convenient if you are traveling to know that you just take the elevator and you are there! Only negative...food is very expensive! You are captive audience
We were staying overnight before flying out early next day. The staff was very helpful. Every encounter was positive. Will definitely use Hyatt Hotels more. They even assisted us in taking our luggage to check in.
