First off, if you go on a timeshare offer, they were not high pressure and gave us the gifts they promised. We were there 3 1/2 hours, not the promised 90 minutes, but having done this before, we expected that. As for the resort, the pool area is nice and right on the beach. Just be sure to know the...

This is a nice but a little outdated. It's a great spotnif you like sports by the beach. They have basketball, mini golf, shuffleboard, and a nice pool. There is driving on the beach so be careful with little ones while on the beach.

Located right on the corner of A1A and Granada Blvd, this hotel/time share has the advantage of being within walking distance of many excellent restaurants as well as drug stores and beach shops. Our two bedroom unit was in the south tower with a side view of the water. Compared to other timeshare type places, this one had very few...

We traded our week in Mexico for this place through RCI. This place is a glorified hotel room and I have been in bigger hotel rooms with a kitçhen. This is considered a studio room. Our reservation says its 4 bedroom, so naturally we were expecting a bigger room. Not at all what we're expecting after driving three days to...

The south tower is the best. Amenities very nice, well maintained and great location. Unit redo after hurricane. Refrig. and stove rusting, was painted to cover up. All guests will be approached to buy ownership in resort. They will sell you the nicer south tower, however owners tell me they can never get in. We got in south tower because...

Have been coming to this spot in Ormond for over 5 years. Always reserve an ocean-front room, since it is our only trip to Florida each year. Ordered an ocean-front room, called and confirmed an ocean-front room, and then was stuck in a side room facing the street. I would never have booked this resort for the room I was...

Spent a week there through an II exchange. Spent time/calls to make sure we would get a 2 Bdrm with oceanview/oceanfront. II assured me that was no problem/Called Spinnaker Resorts & told the same thing. Made reservation/called property to make sure/they told me it was on reservation/would be taken care of. Showed up to be told we had the dreaded...

The view is magnificent and the beach is fantastic. Our one bedroom suite was very average and dated, although we were told all the rooms are being upgraded. We were shown a couple of suites in the South Tower which were lovely. They call themselves 4 star but I think 3 is more accurate. No restaurant or spa, no beach...

I booked a two bedroom condo through Skyauction.com. I checked the Royal Floridian Resort website and saw that the floor plan for the 2 bedroom units had two balconies - one off the living area and one off the master bedroom. When checking in I asked if the unit was ocean front and was told no, it was "city view"....

We usually go to the mountains at this time of year but decided to trade DVC points for a stay at the Royal Floridian. Despite the hurricane and the upcoming scheduled rehab/refurbishment, the resort is in good shape. The folks at the check in desk were friendly and funny. For some reason you had to wait in another line to...
