First off it’s a lot of walking. Walking from parking deck to main building and walking to get to the pools. One pool is by the parking deck and the other is not on the emerald beach side of the resort. Half the building is Wyndham and half is emerald beach. The pool with the bar is on the Wyndham side. There’s nothing special about the place at all and it’s actually a little under maintained in my opinion. We stay at different places each time we come to PCB and this pool area was the least exciting I’ve seen but this was also one of the cheapest ones we’ve stayed at. You get what you pay for folks! The elevators took a long time on busier days but that happens at pretty much all these big resort style places. For the pros: Beach access was much easier than pool access and beach chair rental was actually decent, we paid $45 per day for rentals and we’ve paid much more elsewhere. Jet ski rentals are offered close by on the beach as well. There’s a little shopping center across from the resort with pizza place that was good and a convenient store. Also walking distance from runaway island- the food there was excellent.

The photos make this place look amazing and some aspects are definitely just that. The sky bar walkway to get to your rooms was beautiful, the entry way out front was beautiful as well. Nice AC in all common areas. The elevators however.... oh lord. Half don't work and this place is PACKED, depending on time of day you could be waiting up to 30 minutes for a elevator and we were on the 21 floor so we had to wait every time. The room itself was nice and the view was amazing. I wish there had been more little things throughout the unit, (more trash bags, toilet paper, cooking supplies). There are 2 pool sides bars but only 1 is open per day. The pool across the street (the kid pool) is beautiful and clean lots of shade for littles. The beach side pool is nice but very packed depending on the day because its not very big. The beach was very clean and the chairs and umbrella were nice but with everyone setting up camp right directly in front of them you can barely see any water. The walk from your car across the street in the parking garage to your room was the biggest hassle for us. You hope to park on level 3 which is the entrance to the sky bar but its usually packed so you park on a different level. You have to take the elevator or stairs to floor 3 to walk across the st on the sky bar, and then take another set of elevators to level 1 or stairs to then walk to the elevators for your room floor. Long walk for little ones, long wait times like i said earlier. I am seeing in other reviews the elevators have been a issue for awhile so maybe they need to get on fixing those.

We had a Presidential Reserve, 2 BR condo. It’s well worn and in need of updating. It’s ranked as a Silver Crown resort but is barely that. They were quick to respond when we needed extra toilet paper, etc. but I was disappointed overall. It was not nearly as nice as the Presidential Penthouse we were in several years ago. I will check for Gold Crown rating more carefully next time.

You come to check in at 4pm and your check in is 2pm. You pay extra for this privilege. After you stand in line they tell you the room isn’t cleaned (this is 2 hours after your check in!) but you can pre check in. Last time this same thing happened-July 2020, we left our luggage in storage and went to beach only to have a difficult time getting our luggage later. This time we were just going to bring everything to the pool area with us, but got the call saying our room was ready while still at the car. Went back to lobby, stood in the same line AGAIN to get keys. They say it’s because they are short staffed. So hire more people? My maintenance fees aren’t getting reduced because less people being employed.
Also there are other common sense things that would improve customer service-clean rooms in order to have rooms for VIP early check in available on time. That privilege costs money. Make it worthwhile. For anyone who’s room is not ready they should offer to store luggage AND bring to the room when the room is ready. A free drink at the pool side bar and a chair and umbrella on the beach would not be expecting too much. These things are available at little costs to the management but would make a huge difference to the customer who is on vacation but doesn’t have access to their room. And when the room is ready, for the love you shouldn’t make anyone wait in line again. A staff member should locate the guests and give them the key. Stupid simple ways to improve customer service.

We booked Emerald Beach 2427 through Royal American Getaways. The condo was dirty and had an awful smell and the furniture (especially beds) is run down and nasty. We notified the property management company and they pretty much did nothing and offered little resolution.

While Emerald Beach itself is a nice resort (multiple pools, Starbucks and bar onsite), I would definitely suggest booking directly through the resort and NOT Royal American and definitely not 2427!

We love Emerald Beach. It is our favorite place to vacation. The pools are nice, and the views are beautiful. The units have washers, dryers, and full kitchens stocked with everything you need. There is a convenience store, Alvin’s Island, and several good restaurants within walking distance. There’s also a Starbucks on site. We’ve visited every year - sometimes twice a year - since 2012.

Condo 431 has been completely updated with a designer coastal decor. All new paint, flooring, lighting, window treatment, stainless steel appliances, washer and dryer. A rated by rental company. Disregard all previous reviews.

Originally booked in another property And got there at 4pm to find mattresses onend and sheetson floor. After calling Vacasa was told to wait in lobby. We sat for an hour whole they tried to get housekeeping to answer the phone. Then we were told to take our luggage back out and we were being upgraded to another resort. We arrived after dark to the Emerald Resort, room 2131. After getting settled we began to see how horrible this place was. Torn patio screens, cable TV not working, click battery dead, but the worst thing was MOLD. On vents, shower curtain, and all over ceilings. At this point we had no where else to go. A representative came around and asked us to bring patio chairs induce to tropical storm passing thru. He said yes that is definitely mold and that he would put in a service request for the cable issue.. No other rooms available. Out of the $358 we paid for 3 nights, they refunded us only $60 and a 10% discount on a future staywhich we will never use. Still trying to get more of a regundbut they are unresponsive.i would rate them a zero if I could. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

We just got here today, July 3. First we had to sweep the floor and we got almost a cup of dirt off the floor from sweeping. Second, about 10 p.m. we got ready to jump into the bed after we had our baths. I had to grab my mouth to keep throwing up. The crumbs and the hair was covering the sheet. We thought about running to Walmart and buying some, but all the stores were closed. Now we are washing sheets at 10:15. Don’t think we will ever stay here again.

We rented a condo through Blue Swell properties that's located on this property. We were amazed at the cleanliness and spacious room that we stayed in. We stayed on the 5th floor and we had an amazing view, plus we were able to enjoy going to bed and waking up in the morning to the sound of the ocean. The heated pool was great, especially on the days that it was a bit chilly outside. We will certainly be returning here next year for our vacation!

The pools are open. I do not believe there is a bar at this resort. We went next door to Pineapple Willy's that does not disappoint.
