We have stayed at this property twice before and this will be our last. It is run down, has much deferred maintenance and the staff is less than interested in guest comfort or service. Our room keys stopped working twice during our 3-night stay and the front desk staff did not apologize and on one occasion did not even ask for ID before providing a new key. Breakfast was unattended on Saturday; coffee, eggs, meat all out; juices marked as not operational but some people disregarded the signs and were able to serve get juice when signs said there was none. It appears they just don’t want you to have juice. Fruit was old, dusty and unappetizing. People were tailgating outside our room window all weekend and talking loudly outside after 2am. Our room was spacious and clean but suffered from serious deferred maintenance especially in bathroom where the tiles were coming loose and rot and mold were present. Fire alarms went off two mornings in a row because of burned breakfast items and poor design and management of the breakfast area. Lobby area always in need of picking up, the coffee area was always a mess and we were greeted with chicken nuggets on the floor of the lobby as we checked in. Our overall impression was that the staff just did not care.

Hot tub has been cold for days and they don't know when it will be fixed. They claim WiFi works when it doesn't it just connects. You will only have 1 bar of service if you don't use WiFi. Front desk barely ever answers the phone. And didn't give me the room I requested.

Stayed here last year for the college softball spring break. Convenient location, food in the area and close to Fort Lauderdale airport. Breakfast was always hot and plenty of options for me. Room was spacious.

Stayed in late February, when we get into the room, it smelt so bad that we have to open the windows for hours and it still did not help. It was full house so can't change room for us. When mentioned at check out, they did not seem to think that's an issue. The room type is for handicapped, but it is on second floor and the elevator closest to the room was broken??? Thank goodness we are not handicapped, so it does not bother us, but for handicapped guests, it will be very challenging. Then they charge my credit card for incidentals (not a hold like most other hotels), when they refund me, I lost out on exchange rate as it is a card not from the states. When I called the hotel after, they have the nerve to tell me all hotels does it that way. I'd travelled quite a bit, it is almost always just a hold, not a charge.

This a nice place for a short time. Staff was friendly and wiling to assist when needed. However, guest with pets allow them to use the hallway and leave ot there. So you better where shoes while walking about the hotel.

The place was horrible! Hotel needs a makeover. Windows were extremely dirty. Pillows had a foul oder. People smoking weed in the non-smoking rooms. Breakfast was not very good. Elevator was not working properly and staff were not friendly.

Our bedroom was comfortable, but the bathroom was plagued with ants and the windows are absolutely filthy. The one working elevator was very sketchy. It isn’t aligned properly, so the door slams shut and it operates very slowly. Despite my booking being prepaid, the hotel charged (rather than pre-authorised) my credit card $75.00. My booking agent has contacted them, and they’ve said that it has been refunded, but I will lose some money on the conversions to GBP.

I was worried after reading the negative reviews however this was a good budget priced hotel. The room was clean, the in room refrigerator worked well and the bathroom was clean and free of any mold or mildew. Also contrary to other reviews; no bugs. Overall fine for a night before a cruise. Breakfast was just fair but ok for a budget hotel. I would stay here again.
