The park has a very good check in and very friendly helpful staff. Price was reasonable for where you are. Lots of planned activities that you can sign up for at an extra fee. Most food nights were $5.00 for your food. There is some road noise all night long even though you are a ways from US19. The site we were on for two months was a very wet site when it rains and a lot of people were getting stuck. The park has lots of activities and you will not get bored here. The swimming pool was in a very odd spot as when you go there to swim or tan the only place to get sun was right in front of a row of air conditioners that are going all the time. It is heated so that was nice. Now for the BIG drawback there are lots of French Canadian clicks in this park and if you go or do anything you will soon get very annoyed by these rude antics of leaving you with nothing to talk about as French is the spoken language. Just by some of the reviews being in French you now understand what I mean. Not my choice. Don’t get me wrong this is by all means a nice park and a lot of very nice U.S. citizens to talk to. Just not for me. Sorry.

We are from Nova Scotia Canada and had heard about this park from a friend, who said that people in the park and office staff are very friendly and welcoming. This is absolutely true! Lots of activities and events, both inside and outside of the park. You will not be bored! One reviewer on this site made a comment about Frenxh Canadians here being unfriendly; I take exception to that report as it is not based on fact. In reality, there are very few french speaking people here, and most that are here are bilingual, and anything but unfriendly! It is certainly true that a good number of the residents are long term, which in my opinion is a good thing, in that in addition to permanent residents, the seasonal ones keep coming back! Isn't that proof of a good park?

If I had one negative thing to say it would be that the maintenance people tend to shirk their duties. No water pressure in laundry/showers and repeated electrical outages in laundry/showers are examples. Management needs to do more than pay lip service to residents in these areas. Apart from that, this is a pleasant place to stay.

We were visiting for a few nights, so didn't use any of the amenities, although saw that they had a post office and laundry rooms. Super clean grounds and the spaces each have a pad and there's plenty of room to set up. There is a dog run, but it's at the front of the large property and we were at the back, so we didn't have the chance to use that. They have several ponds for fishing. Looks like most of the people are long term, but all the spaces were tidy and really quiet. Also have a security guard at night and makes the rounds through the park. We were sitting outside and he stopped to meet us and gave us his business card. We felt very comfortable at this place.

The campground is very well kept and very peaceful. It has all the amenities that one could ask for. The only downfall is that there isn’t much to do in the area, hopefully the resort management will bring some activities in the near future. But If you’re after a very peaceful getaway this is your place.

We only stayed one week and probably 95% of the several hundred sites in this RV park are occupied by long term guests. Staff was very accommodating. Rest rooms and laundry were clean. Nice paved roads, but the RV sites were laid out a little odd as to where to park and where the utilities are placed. Everyone in park was very friendly. They have a lot of group activities with a monthly calendar showing what is happening. Our pets were welcome. No cable for short term guests, but the price for our stay was very reasonable.

Sundance was one of the greatest parks to retire to. Every year anybody who came there stayed following year so many activities all run by volunteers. Wilder decide to replace long time mngrs. With a younger manager couple. COMPLETLY clueless He would whiz around park in his cart with ball cap backwards. Never look at you They falsely accused activities mngr of nefarious deeds all to get there own people in this park will be a poop show next year. Serving food from cafe. Open toed shoes no hair bets most of volunteers from previous years have said no way. Good luck chuckles

We stayed for a week in March. The RV sites are adequate, for a private campground. First the not so nice. We had one of the few short term sites with a concrete pad. Most are grass or dirt. There are no picnic tables and the water was on the opposite side as the electric and sewer. Our sewer had no cap when we arrived. I reported it to the front desk but there was still no cap to screw on when we departed. The ground around the site was very dusty with little grass. The morning dew made the dust stick to your shoes. We had to leave our shoes outside to keep the motorhome floor clean. Our cable did not work. There is little privacy as our site bumped up against another site in the rear. The showers were dimly lit and in need of updating. Most of the tenants are either permanent or long term seasonal in park models and don't use the bath houses. Now the good. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. There is something to do most days and evenings. The pool is nice, though not heated, and has ample chaise lounges and tables with umbrellas. There are 5 shuffle board lanes and a tennis court, both in good repair. The dog run is large. Bingo was offered 2 evenings during our stay, but it stopped for the summer the evening before we departed. Not being regular Bingo players we were a little confused by the different games that are played on the different cards. Noticing we were not regulars, one of the staff asked if we needed help figuring out the games. She asked a group at one of the tables if anyone was willing to mentor us. We were taken in by Richard and Betsy, a couple from Ontario, who were great. Really nice people. Most are Canadian with long term/permanent park model homes. We felt very welcomed at the park. Five dollar dinners are offered 2 or 3 evenings from 4 to 5:30. We did the Friday fish fry and Monday burger or brat meals. Both very good. Extras can be purchased if your very hungry. For $5 you get a protein, fries or onion rings, roll, cole slaw, bottle of water, and an ice cream drumstick. Bring your own table ware. They have them you forget. There are movie and popcorn nights, shuffleboard lessons, mini flea market, etc. There is a large lot to park a trailer, boat, tow dolly, etc. We enjoyed our short stay and would recommend it as a stop on a journey.

Peopl do rent their places. There is a requirement for a criminal records check on permanent and season residents and no kids are allowed other than as visitors. Small dogs are allowed, some breeds are restricted but you would need to talk to the office regarding which ones.

Do you allow pets

Yes, they do allow pets. However, they asked me how much mine weighed which was under 25 pounds. I also saw in their paperwork that the weight limit was 25 pounds. I did see bigger dogs than this in the park, however.
