What a beautiful state park! When we were there it wasn't crowded at all. The entrance fee is $6.00 per vehicle. We fished, kayaked, went shelling, walked the beach, hiked and enjoyed nature. Others there were snorkeling and scalloping as well. You have access to both St. Joseph Bay and The Gulf of Mexico. If you love the beach, and...

There's a variety of wild life that wander around this park. We never knew what we would see. The campsites were a little smaller than I expected, but we still enjoyed our stay. The beach is beautiful, and an easy walk from the campground. If you're tent camping, sites 118 and 94 appeared to be shadier than the site we...

We stay in a house on Cape San Blas for a week every year and we frequently visit the park during our stay. Every visit is different! We mainly go to the bay and explore the waters to see what new discoveries we can make!! It is always amazing! We paddle and snorkel and always leave with great stories and...

Kayaking or paddleboarding in the bay offers great wildlife viewing. We saw horseshoe crabs, sea urchins, sand dollars, hermit crabs, fish, crabs, etc. Excellent place to explore with kids. The beach had beautiful white powdery sand, clean restrooms, and was not crowded. If you want secluded beaches go to the furthest trail and hike out over the sand dunes. Gorgeous,...

Had a blast. The park is amazing. Very well maintained. The creatures are your neighbors. Wildlife is everywhere. Watch out for the racoon though. The activities are great. We went kayaking and snorkeling on the Bayside and enjoyed the gulf breeze and laying out on the Gulf side. Spent a day in Port St Joe. Great downtown area with friendly...

We went during early June for a quick 3 day weekend with the kids. The bathroom areas are very nice and super clean, and big enough that there wasn't much wait even during the busy hours. (This proved very important when I got sick towards the end of the trip...) We chose Gulf Breeze campground even though it was more...

The Beach is out of this World!! So beautiful! I even liked it more then St. George Island State park Beach. The sand is pure white and no sea weed in site.Well worth the price to get into the park. Besides swimming they even have a nice bay area for fishing or you can just fish on the beach. I...

We tented at Gulf Breeze camping area. Wide, spacious, long beach. From the beach, the camp site is just over the sand dunes, easily accessible by boardwalks. (preserves the dunes and nesting birds). Myself and a few others found this water to be swim-able, adequate temp in March with air temps in 80's. A raccoon lives behind site 50 so...

This state park and campgrounds is a treat. One side of the peninsula has a calm bay to fish or swim in, the other side is the beach on the Gulf of mexico. While we were there we saw quite a few deer feeding. It is a beautiful, serene place to stay! There isn't much close by so be sure...

There are two campgrounds located near each other at St Joseph Peninsula State Park. Shady Pines is much more private and has more trees and vegetation then gulf breeze campground. Both campsites have good quality showers and bathrooms a boardwalk connects both campsites and goes to the beach which is a great beach. Staff at the park were extremely friendly!
