Nestled on a picturesque beachfront, Ocean Eden Bay - Adults Only provides a vibrant getaway, boasting a lively atmosphere with frequent entertainment that some guests find a tad repetitive. While many laud the cleanliness and extensive amenities like diverse dining options, the resort's remote location may limit exploration.

Overall, our stay was an amazing experience. We booked a swim-out room and upgraded to privilege service so we could enjoy the private areas and have access to the butlers' services. The resort is absolutely beautiful and there are countless restaurants to enjoy at all hours of the day. While not necessarily the best food I've ever had, there are a ton of options for all types of diets and food preferences and it's better than most resorts I've been to. The butlers and privilege staff were incredible and responded quickly to all requests. By the end of the week, many of them became our good friends. The shows were okay, but you'd be fine skipping these for dinner elsewhere or other entertainment options like the live bands and pool/beach parties. However, there were a few downsides. Firstly, we had booked a king bed and arrived to "whatever was available at the time of check-in," which was two double beds. Secondly, we purchased the privilege package in the hopes we could enjoy our favorite premium liquor, but they seemed to run out of most of them by noon each day. Thirdly, the swim out rooms have planters on the patios that are nothing but breeding grounds for mosquitos making it almost impossible to enjoy without bug spray. Another issue came from the staff themselves. They seem to need a quota on the number of reviews they get each day, and you will be hounded constantly. They then look over your shoulder as you write to ensure you leave a positive one. I was probably approached at least 3x a day asking for a review, which is why I'm leaving names out of mine. I want my review to be helpful to users, not forced. The employees that asked for reviews have already received theirs. The beach was nice and kept very clean, but I was sad to hear that all the water activities (kayaks/banana boat/catamaran/tubing/etc.) were not included in the high cost of the stay. Lastly, we booked massages (which were incredibly relaxing and worth the extra cost), but don't waste your time with the hydrotherapy sessions. Several of the areas, including the steam room and whirlpools, were broken. This resort is definitely worth a stay, and I highly recommend it. However, If I went back, I would get the cheapest room and add the privilege service package as the swim-outs are very overpriced and not worth the cost.

~My husby & I stayed at OEB, adults only, privilege. Being privilege we felt like we treated very well. Our room faced the water & had a jacuzzi tub on balcony. I would recommend privilege just for this room alone, the room was close to an elevator & the privilege lounge. Staff always asked permission before entering the room. If you use a private driver, you need to go to the front desk & fill out a waiver. My husby & I always saw staff cleaning & maintaining the resort, the resort is very clean. We found lots to do, bowling, lazy river and lots of walking. Being privilege we had turndown service, Yasheka Robison, made sure our room had clean towels, she would fold the edge of our sheets down and leave us Chocolates. There is always a band playing at night as well as entertainment at "Show time". The adult pool is an all day long party. ~This Resort is built in Coral Springs which is appropriate since the water is full of Coral. We wore water shoes & walked carefully. We did some snorkelling & saw tiny transparent fish. *I found on the Adult side there were not enough bath rooms. One by the adult pool, one by the lazy river and OEB lobby had to stalls but that is all I found.* ~Privilege has 24hr room service; when ordering mozzeralla sticks they give you 5 plus fries, same as chicken nuggets. TIPS: ~When is Jamaica your on Jamaican time ~There are no problems just solutions ~Enjoy I would give this resort 5 stars or 10 out of 10. Shout out to the following Staff: (I am probably missing many since I feel everyone was amazing), Jason OEB lobby bar, Shevoy OCB lobby bar, Rose Marie towel hut adult pool, Micheal steak house. Thali: Tanesha, Neckesha & Joshi. *All the butlers are amazing*

What can I say about my experience at Ocean Eden Bay. My family (9) visited the resort for christmas and we had a fantastic time! Let’s start with the staff! Heather kept our room clean and always very responsive in giving us any additional items we need or direct us in the right direction. Our first morning down to breakfast we came in about 9:20 and almost every thing was gone, we were a bit sad and ask to speak with the manager Mandieann who promptly took ok our names and the next morning when we arrived for breakfast she had personally made sure our party of 9 ate well! Kanisha was our primary server for most of our stay and she was always on hand to top up our drinks and any other request we had. Glenroy the cook made sure my “granpa” had his grilled meal daily. Jhavy knew who we were and was always ready to make sure we were seated at dinner time and constantly around making sure we were ok. The weather was a bit rainy and we didn’t get a lot of experience with the beach but all the other events made up for the lack of pool/ beach experience. We sat by the pool with our umbrellas and had someone constantly serve us with drinks, we had someone giving us dance lessons. The grounds is beautiful, we did some shopping and the service everywhere we go was excellent. All the workers made it a point to greet us when they passed us. Monique always come to check up on us and wanted to make sure all our needs were being met. This is one of our most memorable vacation experience! Thank you Ocean!! 🥰🥰🥰

Physically the hotel is really good, but already needs some work.
Swimming pool: There is a very large rectangular-shaped swimming pool, as well as a small jacuzzi nearby. The water was strangely extremely cold. The pool could use a better clean up because there is always junk floating in the water and sometimes there are rocks at the bottom.
The location of the 2 hotel buildings is very good, each one faces the sun throughout the day.
Room: the size is "ok" but there is nothing provided (only a clothes steamer, a toothbrush, hand soap tablet, small razor... probably things that people already bring themselves. No soap, shampoo, body soap etc for the shower. No hair dryer.
Toilet with glass door (you run out of air after a while). The front of the black counter was already cracked.
Safety box that can be locked with one of the 2 room cards, plus the option to lock with a card + a PIN.
No “flafla” in the room, 1 mirror, 1 frame. No real decoration.
Service: Worst restaurant service I have had on my 10 trips. Extremely slow, they ask you a question without looking at you, often have difficulty understanding so you have to repeat it. They really push to sell stuff, especially the excursions. Even the Transat representative asked 3 times what we wanted to book. Generally, if an employee talks to you it's to suggest something.
Lots of "pot smoking" on site, even around the pool. One of the lifeguards offered us kush for a good price of $30 😅
I see a lot of reviews from 2 years ago that mention exactly the same things in terms of service. This is still not resolved in 2024.
The 2 gems we got were LAKIESHA & SHANISE from the Captain's Market buffet. Even the manager MONIQUE came to chat with us on our last day to give us information... having known before, we could have done things differently.
Restaurant: The wait can be very long (the Locanda took us 2 hours), finally leaving before dessert. The portions of the a la carte restaurants are ridiculously small, photos will be added. All the restaurants are next to each other, so no need to walk very far to go around... or leave the restaurant to go to the buffet so that you are still hungry. Limited fruit choice or does not seem to be of good quality/color. The juices taste absolutely nothing.
We know that the Captain's Market buffet can prepare any meal that an a la carte restaurant offers, just call them or ask on site to have it prepared (20-30 min wait).
There is only one "gift shop" on the resort (Coral Spring + Ocean Edan), very disappointing. These are practically items made in China, Indonesia. Everything artisanal is imported from Mexico. Blue Mountain coffee costs a fortune. Alcohols are only small (2 for $30 or more)
Other information will be added later

Arrived at 11:30am check in was for 3pm and we were given a coaster which would alert us when our room was ready. Nobody bothered to let us know where we could change clothes or provided a map of the resort or directions to a buffet so we could eat. During our 3 hr wait for the room we saw many people arrive after us but given there rooms immediately. 😡 Day 1 the shower leaks from the light every time we shower it drips continuously from the light in the ceiling in front of the sink after every shower. Day 2 we woke up in the middle of the night turned on lights to go to the washroom and were surprised by a cockroach which we chased around the room trying to kill. Next day we informed guest services and were told to fill out a complaint form which I did and by 7pm had received no response so I followed up. A guy was sent to my room with a dustpan and a broom to sweep it up and we convinced to at least come in and spray as the cockroach couldn’t be found. That was the end of that no one has bothered to follow up 🤷♀️ Halfway through vacation they started working on the pool chipping tiles away and replacing them. It has been going on for days. Pool is full of grout chunks, dust and dirt. Pool is a whole issue on its own the water level is low to the point it looks horrible and fountains don’t work and dirt accumulates on the nice ledges you are meant to sit and sunbath on. It is never vacuumed I am here for 14 days and it has never happened and cleaning with a net is hit and miss and if done takes 30-60 minutes around 8-9am. Walls need to be scrubbed as most are grimy and covered in black in grout lines. Pool entertainment happens twice a day and lasts maybe 1-2 hrs music comes and goes but is sporadic and repetitive day after day. Entertainment team does their best but feel they are limited and without participation can’t really do much. Any pool parties at this point have been cancelled without any explanation but really isn’t this what you pay for foam parties and entertainment while enjoying the sunshine. The beach is unusable in my opinion it is small and sectioned into parts never raked except privileged section and then piles are left all over in pathways or wherever is convenient. Getting into the water requires passing through piles of seaweed and most sections are rocky. All in all the beach is smelly and unattractive with no upkeep. I could go on and on all day however I am trying to make the most of a very expensive vacation that has yet to prove its worth. All these issues could easily be avoided by good customer service and more staff focussed on customer satisfaction none of which appears to be a priority or concern for management at the resort. I will not comment on food, service or staff as these issues are constantly changing and can be perceived differently by each individual. I will however say they definitely run on island time and nobody strays outside the lines of there specific jobs meaning don’t expect anything more than what they get paid a pittance to do cause it isn’t their problem.

My husband and I just returned from a week at OEB and would not return, or recommend. For context, we are early 30s, Canadian, and have travelled to Cuba, DR, Barbados, Antigua, St Lucia and St Maarten. This was our second time in Jamaica. We have stayed in small and large resorts, high and low season. We always go with adults only.
We arrived later in the evening and were told our room category (oceanview, king bed) were unavailable so we were given a room on the 2nd floor with queen beds and a garden/pool view. We had to help ourselves to our room and wandered around in the dark on that first night looking for food. It took 3 days and a negative survey on the app to facilitate a transfer to the correct room. We are beach people and were extremely disappointed by the beach here - I’d seen reviews of it being rocky but feel that they downplayed how bad it really was. There’s only a small portion of the beach that is accessible on OEB side and it was riddled with noisy kids! Alerted staff and nothing was done. We ended up at the pool and it was LOUD. Bring earplugs/noise cancelling headphones if you don’t want to hear the annoying entertainment staff hollering all day over the same 20 reggae/hip hop songs - this happened from 10am to 5pm, continuous. The food quality was okay (too spicy for me, but my husband enjoyed), the service was poor. We were polite, tipped well, and tried to build rapport with the staff but ultimately felt ignored and neglected most of the time. Only one server at the steakhouse was attentive. The towel lady at the pool was very snippy and even denied us clean towels one day because she was saving the remaining few for other people who were not around?
It is high season and the resort was at or near capacity, so I understand that there is simply not enough shady spots on the resort for everyone, however, the chair reserving at this hotel is out of control. I was up between 5:30-6am every morning to hit the gym and the number of people I saw putting towels on chairs under the cloak of night was ridiculous. The ENTITLEMENT, wow. After my workout I liked to sit at the beach or pool with some tea to enjoy the peace and watch the sun rising, so I can say with absolute certainty that ALL ‘prime’ pool spots and beach palapas are taken by 7am. Bring ample sun screen because if you wake up later and don’t stumble upon someone vacating these spots, you will be without shade.
The resort is less than 5 years old but looks very worn, questionable workmanship in the room and pool area with tiles piling up at the side of the pool and half the ledge of the pool bar broken off. The room looks as advertised.
My husband and I wanted a quiet, relaxing, beach vacation, and OEB did not deliver. We try to taper our expectations based on destination, rating, size and age of the resort, and time of travel. This resort was not for us.

We stayed at Ocean Eden Bay for our honeymoon. Overall I’d rate this hotel a 3.5 out of 5. While the property and pool are STUNNING, spacious and clean, we found several inconsistencies while staying here. We first arrived and were given a room with two double beds, despite booking a King bed room as per our invoice. While the hotel staff were accommodating and eventually fixed this issue, we did have to come back several different times the following day until our room was switched. Initially we were told to come back in the morning then 12pm, 3pm, 5pm and finally we were in at around 6pm. We also didn’t receive any recognition that it was our honeymoon, but I did see other rooms with banners for birthdays and honeymoons so that was slightly disappointing considering we were asked several times if we were here to celebrate an occasion. The restaurants were pretty good, however closing dates did not reflect what the website advertised although we did expect this to happen as it does say subject to change. Most times the service was hit or miss- having to repeat our orders, receiving wrong orders and sometimes drinks never coming out- not a deal breaker in my opinion as the food was good and the staff were friendly regardless. Do not order room service unless you plan on waiting over 2 hours and the selection is below average. The pool was phenomenal and well kept, however pool side service was non existent and bar tenders weren’t the friendliest despite tipping. I’ve stayed in at least 3 other resorts where the bar staff were engaging and welcoming-not so much here. They also ran out of straws, beer, cups and some of the alcohol selections frequently. Unless you’re a “privilege guest”you get the bottom of the barrel alcohol selections (a first for me at an all inclusive). Housekeeping was great however on our last day there our water stopped working but we were leaving a few hours later so not a big deal for us, however if it was earlier on in our trip I wouldn’t have been very impressed. I should also note that this resort specifically is VERY windy and the beach is rocky (man made). We spent a couple of pool days at the Coral Springs (all ages) and it wasn’t nearly as windy….they also have the best lazy river I’ve ever been in! Overall, I likely wouldn’t stay at this resort again. While it was a nice getaway, I have stayed at other resorts that are more attentive and welcoming than this one.

On first impressions, this is a very clean and tidy resort. We were greeted by a very friendly and warm receptionist, Kaci who was very efficient throughout. Most staff members were very friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Nothing was too much trouble. The entertainment team was very good, bringing different kinds of varied programs throughout our stay thereby ensure that there was something for everyone to participate in. The Senses Bob Marley dinner show is amazing and not to be missed. I Very much enjoyed Mike’s coffee shop and the ambiance there as well as the selection which was on offer. Another of the highlights of our visit was going to the pool bar to be served by Nashenia; she makes amazing cocktails and is a great mixologist and is always welcoming. If you are a gym goer then the gym there is sufficient for your daily workouts whilst on vacation, if you can muster up the motivation, it’s open 24/7. There is a decent amount of equipment available. We ordered a cake for my sister’s birthday whilst we were there and although we were initially told that a small cake was for 4-6 people, it would most certainly easily serve 10 individuals. We had the red velvet cake and it was the most delicious velvet cake that I have ever eaten to date. The downside to this resort is that it is a bit out of the way, if you want to explore the island, however there are taxi services available from outside the reception area, otherwise a great location if you just want to just relax and enjoy the surroundings. Kudos also must go to Monique and some of her management colleagues for making sure that all was to our satisfaction during our stay. I would recommend this resort and will most certainly visit it again in the near future.

The resort is beautiful with so much to do. The restaurants are really good with amazing food and service. We had Sherika at breakfast and she took great care of our every needs.
The rooms were cleaned every day, and our mini fridge was always full. They never even waited for a toilet paper roll to run out, if it was only half used, it was replaced. We had a privilege junior suite, the double shower was really nice and we had a Jacuzzi on our balcony. If we wanted our jacuzzi filled up for us at a specific time while we were out for dinner or just relaxing by the pool I just had to use what's app and message Ryan and he would fill it for us. Anything we needed, Ryan was a simple message away. The only very slight issue I had was the plug in my jacuzzi was bent a little, so the water drained slowly while it was down. It only took 1 call to the front desk and they sent somebody up with a new plug to fix it. No problems after that very minor problem that was fixed immediately.
All the staff are very friendly and really nice, they are always walking by asking if we needed anything. I wanted to get towels one night but the towel hut was closed, I seen a worker collecting some by the pool so I just asked him. He was very helpful and went over to the towel hut specifically for us and grabbed us 2 fresh towels. We mostly went to the bar by the pool outside the Marlin restaurant and Candace took care of our every drink need, she remembered our drink ordered and would get them ready when she saw us coming.
On our first night here we went to la locanda for supper, we were informed that it was a reservation only restaurant, but they made room for us and let us dine there. The food was so good we had to go back for a 2nd time, but we actually made a reservation the 2nd time around. We had breakfast daily at Captains Market and their breakfast buffet was amazing with so many different options to choose from. The Steakhouse, Privilege Lounge, and Sugarcane are also really nice places with amazing food. I personally loved the curried goat from Sugarcane.
The pool is massive so even if there is a lot of people around, you can still swim around comfortably, the beach is beautiful with a big swimming area, there are a few rocks, but you're going to get rocks on any oceanside beach.
I met a chef from the Restaurant Marlin, his name was Denroy/Ridge and he was really nice, I loved talking to him and hearing all about his family. He told me which restaurant he would be working at for breakfast and I tried to find him again but unfortunately I couldn't.
Overall this resort is beautiful, the food is absolutely amazing, the staff here are all really nice and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I and two close friends stayed at the Ocean Eden Bay Resort Oct 3 - 7. Upon our arrival we were impressed with the appearance of what a “5 Star” resort should look like: Highly polished marbled floors, high ceilings with lots of glass windows displaying the ocean. The initial lobby staff were professional and friendly however the people who arrived were rowdy. This was a “hmmm” moment for us.
When we arrived at our rooms which were both balconies with large jacuzzi’s the real problems started:
1. Doors not aligned properly and hard to close. My friends door locked them out one night. 2. Room not cleaned properly. One day the person who mopped our floor left strands of the mop all over. 3. Not enough towels and trying to get towels was exhausting. 4. We had the so called “Privilege Class” service which should have been called the Unprivileged” Class service. Getting ANYTHING using this service was too much of a chore I.e. getting ice, towels, transportation etc. 5. Our balcony was unusable because even though the room was non smoking guess what?? You guessed it! The balcony was, and people smoked whatever they wanted. 6. The elevator had a terrible smell like a homeless person used it at night (were we the only ones smelling this??). If we weren’t on the 4th floor we would’ve taken the stairs. 7. Resort staff: Although there were a few bright lights on their staff which we generously tipped, many of their staff seem to be young and inexperienced when it comes to “Customer Service and Support” They don’t have eye contact, don’t speak, smile are not engaging and are not trained. My wife and I found this sad. 8. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, I give it a 99.9% 9. We thoroughly enjoyed the food! 95.9% 10. We loved the drinks and the bartenders - 97.9%
If you’re going for the last 3 you’re in for a great time. This however is NOT a 5 Star resort.
