This is one of older style Motel/hotel. Very quaint and a spot that you will meet a number of repeat visitors. Normally, I don't add points for being on the beach as all of the hotels worth staying at are all on the beach, but while it is very nice to be on the beach, at some spots it is... More

The place was clean up to date. The location is wonderful Nice wide beach with lounge chairs. Staff was always helpful and friendly. Had no problems and booked next year before we left.I give it 5 stars Thanks again to the staff, see you in October.

This is basically a motel, so my advice would be to consider the amount of time you will actually be spending in your room, because the rooms are a bit small, there is no seating area, the beds are very comfortable and though the décor is dated they do their best to keep it clean. There is a small (empty)... More

The location of the hotel is great. Hotel has direct access to the beach and it is in walking distance to various restaurants. The only down side was that the bed was not comfortable. Very hard mattress.

This hotel is horrible because it is infested with bed bugs. My family and I stayed there and ended up having to leave in the middle of the night when we noticed bites and bed bugs in the room. We even took pictures of them and showed them to the front desk lady (who didn't seem surprised at all) Please... More

Hotel Sol, (formally known as Hotel Isis), is the perfect place for a romantic getaway. Beach-front rooms (116, 117) have king canopy beds, and open onto the white sand beach. Hammocks and grills on the beach, and a beautiful garden oasis pool.

An older hotel with appeal. Remodeled and fresh. Directly on the beach. We are 50ish husband and wife traveling because our plans were wiped out on the East coast with hurricane Matthew. Last minute booking and the price was below expected.

We really enjoyed our two day stay! Lovely little garden, pool and white sand beach! Had very nice lounge chairs and two hammocks. Cleaning crew was always around. Office was closed sometime after dark.

Used to be decent. But I stayed there last week and it was really bad. They have a serious roach problem! And the room was filthy. I hope they get their act together and fix this up. There are no hotel staff at location after 9PM, so you need to get there early or you will be locked out.

We have stayed here before when it was Hotel Isis, they changed name for obvious reasons. Same good management. One of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in. Small, quaint, personable. Right on beach, walk out of room and a few steps you are on beach. Good outside pool. Highly recommend, Reasonable rates.
