My wife & I had a couple days to kill prior to a conference in Orlando so we decided to drive the hour and a half up the coast. Booked into the Emerald Room. It has a canopy king bed, separate bathroom with huge shower and jetted tub. It has it's own entry off the parking lot so it feels...

My husband and I have just celebrated our two year anniversary. We wanted to celebrate somewhere in Florida and we thought the perfect place would be St. Augustine. It was tricky to find a place to stay because there are many locations to choose from. We saw this bed and breakfast online called the Carriage Way Bed and Breakfast and...

What an absolute joy to read your "What a dream come true!" review. It was our deepest pleasure to make your anniversary a memorable one. While we may be a tiny establishment, we definitely strive to give a 5 star experience! We truly look forward to hosting you for many many more special occasions. Thank you for sharing such a...

We stayed from Jan 30 through Feb 2nd. Carriage Way exceeded our expectations in every aspect. First, Julio, Michaela and Johanna went out of their way to make us comfortable and ensure a perfect weekend getaway. Their restaurant suggestions were spot-on. They are utterly charming, and the consummate hosts. We stayed in the Silver Room in the Cottage and absolutely...

This is our first stay at a B&B. Sure beats a motel! Owner & staff were very helpful and kind. Johanna's welcome when we arrived made a great first impression. Food was good. We were within walking distance of wherever we wanted to go--restaurants, trolley stops, etc. The Emerald Room, where we stayed, was very nice. Attractive and clean with...

Chuck, we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay at Carriage Way and the premier Emerald Room with it's plush pillow top and specially made comphy sheets. Johanna is amazing and I appreciate the feedback on her! Our doors are open for your return visit.

The Carriage Way B & B is absolutely stunning and we'll maintained. The location is perfect! Close to St George Street, the fort, and our favorite restaurants! But the best thing about our stay was by far the service. I have a gluten allergy and Michaele and her amazing staff was so gracious in accommodating me each morning. We will...

My husband and I wanted a 53rd anniversary getaway in St. Augustine, but didn’t have any idea where to stay. A friend recommended Carriage Way B&B. It was perfect—warm, welcoming owner and staff; tasty and varied breakfasts with muffins or scones, fruit, and an egg dish and meat of the day; delicious chocolate chip cookies (or another kind, but I...

It means a great deal that you thoroughly enjoyed your 53rd anniversary at Carriage Way! Your review is so in-depth and is sure to spread the word to future guests. Funny you should mention it, a special ceiling fan is on order for the Emerald room. I was looking for just the right one to compliment the Emerald room as...

I just can't say enough about the Carriage Way. I was booked here for two nights while interviewing for a position at Flagler College. I had never stayed in a B&B before, but am I glad I wasn't stuck in a generic hotel. What a delight! The Inn itself is just stunning inside and out: the rooms are colorful and...

This little B and B has a staff so warm and helpful that you feel as if you are with family. Really a lovely experience. Breakfasts were good, service was excellent. My only suggestion for the inn would be a wider variety of morning offerings on hand for the "fat-free" crowd--cereal, yogurt, etc. Will gladly return to enjoy Joanna and...

Myself, Johanna and the rest of the stay are very pleased that you had an amazing stay. It's great that you took advantage of the package. It's very popular with the carriage tour, dinner gift certificate, sheriff ghost tour and breakfast in bed. We certainly look forward to hosting you again. Gratefully yours.
