From the moment we arrived on the property the spell was cast and the magic began. The staff was so accommodating and knowledgeable. The property was perfectly manicured and each courtyard and home held its own history and charm. General manager Charlie gave an incredible history tour after eating a delicious breakfast. We already booked our next stay. Definitely a 4 Diamond stay. Thank you

Just by chance we found this gem in May of 2021 and after a four-night stay, we were hooked. Everything and everyone is outstanding. We love the quiet ambience of the grounds and the old world charm. Today we completed our third stay and already are booked to return. We live 2 hours away and it is our go to place when we want a relaxing getaway near home.

This is truly a hidden gem. Our experience completely exceeded our expectations. We had a delightful 1 bedroom suite. The property is unique and within easy walking distance to all the old town restaurants and shops. The valet parking and check-in process was seamless. We were amazed with the winding brick walkways and the fire pits that run all the time. The Well opens in the evening and we enjoyed drinks every night around the fire pits. An extra nice touch is the small buffet breakfast every morning. We’ll definitely be back here.

This was a repeat visit. The historical tour is not to be missed. Our tour guide made us feel a part of the past and can truly appreciate all the undertakings to bring this compound to the public. Rooms and service were exceptional. The front desk took care of all our dinner arrangements. The Christmas lights were a plus. Relaxing by the fire pit with a glass of wine and meeting new friends to share was fun. Location is perfect to walk everywhere.

The setting and location of this group of wonderfully restored historic old homes and one old Inn could not be surpassed. Located close to the museums, Old Town attractions and restaurants, yet tucked away in it's own private grounds and courtyard. Good friends of ours had stayed here last season, and recommended we book a stay, for our next visit to St. Augustine. Once the valet parked our car, we forgot about driving. The accommodations were superb, clean and one of the most comfortable beds, with just enough attention to detail to let you know you are there to relax and enjoy. The baths are all modern, hot water was immediate, and abundant, many times an issue in older B&B's. The 'Well' is a quaint Pub style, small Coquina building with the best wine, beer, Cocktails & Mixed Drinks. We found ourselves in there for happy hours daily, with subtle jazz background music and the best Barkeep in town. All the staff were friendly and helpful, with no exceptions, management was also on top of any issue or glitch, as our door keys had to be re-activated, and it was done promptly. We also recommend doing the on site tour, not only entertaining, it helps you understand the grounds and the historic story of each structure, and how it was all tied together. Next trip to St. Augustine will be preceded by a call to this establishment.

Spent 2 nights. Not very luxurious, nor a lot of privacy. Old buildings with thin walls and small rooms. If you are accustomed to luxury establishments probably best to look elsewhere. I was not able to work comfortably on my computer in the room. Breakfast was not good either day.

This property is a jewel and should be your choice for top quality accommodations when visiting St. Augustine. The staff is wonderful, and the location is perfect, we parked our car when we first arrived and did not need to use it again until we left. The charm of the historic multi-building hotel cannot compare and the history tour is a must!

The best part of our stay was Charlie's guided tour of the location which is charming. The location is somewhat noisy, even for an in-town setting: Trash cans emptied daily, people talking too loudly around the fire pits late at night, and school traffic in the mornings! Some of our bed linens were "tired." And we had to ask for Kleenex to be replenished! Not exactly luxury!

Stayed for 2 nites and while it is a very romantic exterior and courtyard, the rooms are somewhat eclectic and unusual. It is a collection of several historic houses located in an area relatively close to all the restaurants and sites. I felt it was a little overpriced and not as comfortable as I had hoped. The bathroom in our room was a bright spot for the room with a large walk in shower and plenty of space. The bedroom area was simply uncomfortable, no sitting area, tv was on a side wall and unusable, only streaming apps were available on the tv, not even basic sat or cable. There is no self parking, only valet, which is ok but not ideal. Overall, it is simply an average place to stay and is fine if you plan on only sleeping and showering. There was some confusion regarding happy hour, we were initially charged regular prices for our drinks, which were clearly listed on the happy hour menu as 5 dollars each, we asked the bartender why and had to show him the pricing on the happy hour menu, he did fix the bill but, that should not have happened in the first place. That was our only experience at the Well as we chose not to participate any further. It is a very small bar with a minimal wine selection.
