Detailed Reviews
My girlfriend & I stayed in room 7 on 1/23/21. That room has a private balcony with a view of the bay. Room was a typical bed & breakfast type, very comfy with a tv, jacuzzi tub, stand up shower, hair dryer and small refrigerator. No in room coffee maker. It is right above Tiny Martini bar that closes after midnight, so noise can be a problem. Ear plugs might be recommended if you want to go to bed early. The balcony was awesome, with seating for several people. Two free drink coupons were included for Tiny Martini as well as breakfast at Nero's Cafe. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Parking is offsite about a block away. We had a wonderful time staying here

We stopped in here for lunch and cocktails after touring the area. The outside terrace is charming and this is a great spot for harbor views and people watching. Our service was excellent and we loved our meal. The lunch sandwiches are very good and worth the price given the atmosphere and location of this restaurant. I can't say enough good things about this gem.

we were in the Coach House located on Charlotte St. We loved this location as we had a porch and had it been in cooler months, we could have used this more. We were celebrating my husbands birthday. It faces west, so you get afternoon hot sun in the summer.
The room was adequately cleaned upon arrival. There is no maid service when you stay multiple nights due to pandemic, but they provided a basket to put soiled towels or bedding in and they replace with clean. We had no problems getting clean and abundant towels. Loved our shower- it was huge and a rain shower, although it took quite a while to figure out all of the buttons and dials- it was definitely new-old technology.
There were two nice wing back chairs which were more comfortable than the usual love seat or sofa in most rooms. They use air beds, so make sure you adjust to your comfort. We slept very well, although I will say that Charlotte St. can be busy with one way traffic and sometimes late night party goers noise. It was short lived though. Your room is right on the street with just a sidewalk and porch in front.
We loved the vouchers for bar drinks and breakfast. We would have loved coffee in the room, but they don't provide that or any room refrigerator. We would definitely return and hope to soon. This is an old very bohemian eclectic property, so don't expect the Ritz.

This Inn is basically a restaurant and bar with rooms to rent. Dont be fooled.. its not a quaint, quiet Inn on the bay. From the moment you step in the building you realize you should have gone somewhere else. The entire building smells like a dumpster. The inn in very old and although they have been 'renovating' all their doing is painting over the dirt and dust. The restaurant and bar are open to the public so its always crowded. The staff is huge and even though the breakfast and 2 drinks a day are 'complimentary' you have to tip the staff waiting on you because they work for tips. By the way, the food is horrible. Not even worth the 'free' part. The home fries were cold and tasted like oil amongst other issues. Having said all the negative .. the staff are all very nice. But there's alot of them so your constantly having to walk around them as the restaurant kitchen opening is right where the stairs are to go to the rooms on the 2nd floor. NOT pleasant. My room was good. Although the shower head had no pressure and knew one temp..scalding. The shower was so small I couldnt stretch my arm out. The floor around the bed was actually squishy when I walked on it and the new flooring kept coming apart. The bed was comfortable. The balconies or patios are all really gross. No view unless looking at moldy walls is a view for you. all the rooms have a/c window units and they were dripping so the patio is actually an old chair thats been outside in the elements next to a dripping a/c unit overlooking a trashy, supply area. The positives: Apparently locals come to the bar because its good, the location is great for being able to walk everywhere downtown. I think that might be all. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Which is a huge plus for this place. Cant fault them, their only working there and doing their best. Lastly, You have to park down the road too.. nothing close by.

This is one of my favorite inns to stay, now that I have rediscovered St. Augustine which is a delightful area to visit for true relaxation. The Casablanca is so incredible as it has it all—charm, location, and then, to top it off, a great restaurant and bar. Parking is included in the price which is a real plus as parking is challenging in Olde Towne. The restaurant, Nero’s Waterfront Cafe, serves breakfast, brunch and lunch and the food is outstanding! The attention to quality is evident. House made corned beef hash, freshly ground hamburgers, homemade Caesar dressing...My favorites include the pattymelt, rueben sandwich, french fries, and Caesar salad, but I want to try other items on the menu. Too many items and not enough time!!! Then there’s the Tini Martini Bar, known to locals, as The Tini. It serves an array of martinis, including a personal favorite, the Godiva Chocolate Martini, which is especially delightful during the Nights of Light.

Wanted to spend a day in St. Augustine while traveling and decided to book a night at Casablanca Inn on the Bay based upon previous reviews. Wow! This was a definite surprise. This is a very old building that has been repurposed into an Inn. Don’t expect 5 star accommodations here, however if you’re into history and an eclectic vibe, this is the place for you! The staff was very friendly and accommodating upon checking in. We arrived early therefore our room wasn’t ready yet. We were given instructions on where to park and they would call us when our room was ready. Be aware, parking is difficult to find without specific directions and is a block away for the Inn. We walked to Harry’s for lunch and our room was ready before we were finished. We had room 18, over looking Charlotte Street. Large King bed and a large balcony. The room was clean however the balcony could use some attention. Everything was functional and it was amazing how they had fit modern fixtures in such an old building. NOTE: vouchers are given for breakfast and drinks each day you stay there. And, the drinks are amazing. So many kinds of martinis! The Cucumber Martini was our favorite. When you realize the value of the drinks and breakfast, the price of the room cost reductive. The ‘Tini Martini Bar’ is a lot of fun, but very crowed at times. We had a few drinks before dinner and enjoyed the bar in the late evening to ourselves. Breakfast was huge! Lots of choices and the Mimosas was awesome. We’ll be back!

+1
Our first haunted bed and breakfast in St. Augustine! We booked room 11 which was supposedly haunted. Again, no spirits but we definitely enjoyed the complimentary martinis before bed! Parking was a bit of a challenge since it was off site and the streets in this section of St. Augustine can be narrow with lots of pedestrian traffic. We had to find the back entrance of the inn, which is on Charlotte Street, not on Avenida Menendez (which is the address of the inn and where the entrance of the Tini Martini Bar is located). The main entrance of the Casa Blanca Inn is also the main entrance to the Tini Martini Bar and Nero Restaurant. We strongly suggest to check the website for instructions on where to park when checking in. We had to circle the area three times because we were looking for a hotel driveway. . The back entrance is also the parking for delivery vehicles so there were 2 service vehicles in a 3-vehicle driveway when we checked in.
Our room was spacious, but the “sun deck” was not really what we had expected. It looked like an outdoor smoking area that is shared by the other rooms on the 2nd floor. We appreciated the “back entrance” to our room instead of walking through the main entrance through the restaurant and martini bar. We were given martini and breakfast vouchers. We were able to select from a long list of martinis but breakfast was limited to what was printed on the voucher, which was more than enough for us anyway. We were able to walk to major points of interest from the inn.

We booked our room here for our daughter’s wedding. While the location is fantastic the accommodations leave something to be desired. The Inn and the Tini Martini Bar need to be spruced up. The staff at both were very pleasant and helpful but, do not stay here if you have anyone with mobility issues. The rooms are clean but old and dated and in need of freshening up. They are not as large as they appear to be on the website, the bathroom was tiny with a huge jetted tub that was very slippery. There were water issues with the shower started out ‘hot’ but turned cold very quickly. I’m glad I brought my own blow dryer as I was afraid to use the one in the room as the plug on the blow dryer was cracked and looked a little burnt. . Room itself was very dark and dreary, the queen size bed was very comfortable but massive and we bumped our toes on it more than we care to admit. The outside porch was comfortable but the cushions always felt a little damp. There are no elevators or inside stairwells. While the flight of stairs to our room was not excessive it was still a challenge with my 88 year old mother. We did mention that we were traveling with her but I assume our room was one of the few, maybe only that could accommodate 3 people. Parking as stated in other reviews is included in the price of the room but is a block and a half away and very tightly. Breakfast for 2 and a limited menu of martini’s is also included and were good. Beware if you are staying here on a weekend you will here other travelers returning from their night out.

I loved the location as you are walking distance to many tourist attractions and st george st for all the great little unique shops. The breakfast was included for a standard breakfast(eggs, bacon, muffin) and they had many other offerings not included as different benedicts which were very good as we ate there for breakfast several times. This was an anniversary weekend for us to see concert at local ampitheatre which was awesome venue in the state park which is like 2 miles away. When we showed up we were sent in the back called secret garden. That came with free parking which was a major plus for the area. Now the bad parts. When we showed up my wife loved the mostly private area with private balcony but when I went to open the door it was open already. I slowly opened the door and room was not ready and seemed like maybe staff was using shower as front desk said noone had the room night before. They moved us to another room next door and smelt musty and was not as nice. On our anniversary dinner night we came back to get ready and staff filled our parking spot as many were at the bottom doing laundry etc so we went back out for a bit and came back and was able to park in manager spot. My wife tried to used to hair dryer provided in the unit and blew the breaker so the TV, the lights, and ac went out. Luckily there was a staff member below where they do laundry and they flipped the breaker. My wife turned on hair dryer and boom lights out again so they reset breaker and she was over it as a woman on her anniversary dinner couldnt do her hair. Still went to Michaels which was amazingly good. We were booked until Monday morning and we checked out Sunday morning as my birthday was that Sunday as well that weekend and my wife got us another room down the street as she says she wants to be able to get done up for me without the lights going out and when I cant see her all I smell is musty aroma. So great location but property needs improvement. Friendly staff

Booked thru their website a room with a jacuzzi tub. Room 12 is described to have this amenity. Well it doesn’t exist. When checking with the front desk I was informed they removed it 2 weeks ago. Nothing in that room looks remodeled in quite some if ever. No response from manager when asking to speak about this. Also an extension cord for their Christmas lights was running out the window of our room with a sign on the wall saying do not touch. Really for a room rate over $200 per night? The Inn is in need of repair and very disorganized. Many problems need to addressed. Bar and restaurant are busy and staff seem confused.
