Got engaged to my fiancee at St Augustine recently and stayed at the Southern Wind Inn in the Porcelain Room. The room was very well decorated and comfortable. She enjoyed it alot. The owner was very nice and helpful, setting up our dinner reservations and carriage ride with discretion so she would be surprised. The breakfast was delicious. And its...

We moved to the Inn after a bad experience on the beach at another establishment that had roaches. We were hard pressed to find vacancy anywhere and happened upon this place. It was fantastic! The room was classic old style southern living and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. It was in a great part of the historic district and...

The Honeymoon room was exactly what my wife and I were looking for to celebrate our 11th anniversary. We loved that nice big tub and the matching bathrobes were a very nice touch. The breakfast that we had the following morning was also great. This seems to be one of the few B&Bs in St. Augustine that does not require...

This was the first time I had ever stayed at a B&B and it was beyond fantastic! As soon as my fiance and I got there, Scott was waiting for us. He's a very pleasant and kind guy, told us about the area, places to eat, and spots to check out. We booked the Crystal room and couldn't have been...

Southern Wind is what a B&B should be; friendly host, relaxing, homey atmosphere, comfortable rooms with period furniture, lovely breakfast and excellent, accommodating service all wrapped up in an affordable price. Would highly recommend to all.

I chose the Southern Wind for its location and reasonable prices. As B&B's go, it needs a little TLC. A power washer would do wonders for the exterior. We were greeted by the owner, Scott. He was very nice, he seemed a bit rushed but he reviewed a map of the city for us and escorted us to our room....

The cookies late at night when we got home were great. I ate them all. The room had warm wooden floors with a huge kingsize bed. (Veronda room) The location was great and was easy to walk to every where in historic St Augustine. The owners made a good breakfast and were very helpful when we arrived with a map...

Like everyone, we have been so busy and just realized that we forgot to write a review. We frequent the St. Augustine area for business and pleasure and we look forward in staying at the Southern Wind Inn as it has become our favorite place to stay. Besides Southern Wind's great rooms and location Donna's cheesy egg breakfast is delicious...

Well, if you have never been to the oldest city in America, the best day to visit is the 4th of July. What a wonderful little city, heaped in history and historical sites to visit. We stayed in a B&B, the Southern Wind Inn on Cordova St., which is just a short hike to the old fort and the Bridge...
