This motel has been made into a pleasant inn, it is comparable to a bed and breakfast experience. The rooms have wood like floors, excellent beds and bedding and the bathroom shower was nicely tiled. The reception ladies were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was served in room with window as overlooking the water with a view of downtown. It...

My wife found the Edgewater online and we stayed there while in town. While it looks like an old 50's hotel from the outside, the rooms and bathrooms are all updated. Lovely views and each room has a porch with nice chairs to enjoy the view across the water of the fort and city. Breakfast is served but it wasn't...

What a treat! Within easy walking distance of all the attractions of old St. Augustine with a spectacular view of the city across the water. We saw dolphins and bird life while sipping wine during happy hour. The hot breakfast was amazing, providing the fuel needed for a day of sightseeing. We loved the cozy atmosphere with the chance to...

First the view is amazing! Literally right on the water. Now for the not so great rooms are fairly small and basic, the wifi is a joke at best better to just use data. Now, some more good aspects staff are friendly and the rooms are clean and neat. Price is also pretty steep too for what you're getting. But...

Judging by the repeat customers here, I understand why this motel has been here for a long time. The views of the bay are the best. Wonderful sunsets and just far enough away from the busy part of St. Augustine (only a 1/2 mile walk across the bridge and you are there). It was flooded out buy a hurricane last...

This is a 19 room motel right on the river at the base of the bridge. Everything is sparkling clean and well appointed. There is a common room which has a hot breakfast and a cocktail hour. Best of all, most rooms have a door on the river with two adirondak rockers outside. After dinner we sat out and watched...

Found this place online, had lots of great reviews so we decided to give it a try. WE ARE SO GLAD WE DID!!! Accommodations were all brand new and top notch, happy hour and breakfast were excellent and staff was very helpful without being intrusive. Great location: it's an easy walk to historic attractions and GREAT restaurants (best fried shrimp...

We had the most perfect stay at Edgewater Inn! The lovely people we met made the setting even more beautiful! Even though our room didn't have a view of the water, the breakfast room was always available, with a deck that offered an incredible view across the water to the fort and St. Augustine. Breakfast was delicious, and beautifully presented....

We stayed at the Edgewater Inn over the weekend and were not disappointed. Our view of the water was absolutely gorgeous. The room was nice, clean, and spacey enough for the kids and I. The breakfast was tasty and hit the spot. We will return for our next visit!

My wife and I stayed here for 5 days while we explored St. Augustine. The hotel had just reopened after being damaged in hurricane Matthew (actually some repairs were still going on while we were there). The rooms are a little small but well appointed. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the hotel offered a continental...
