I must give the marketing company that advertised this place their props. What they advertised and depicted in the pictures looks nothing like the place we were staying in. Absolutely disgusting. Dirt and grime everywhere. Carpets haven’t been vacuumed in weeks. Do not waste your money on this dump. From the dirty front desk to the filthy elevator, the experience got worse and worse. As for St. Augustine........all the main drag is missing is a strip club and a tattoo parlor.

This facility is somewhat dated. There is a fee for parking in an unsecured lot. No bar or breakfast offered on premises. Our room was clean. Their location and proximity to attractions is what influenced us to choose this hotel. Very average accommodations.

I don't know where to start. I believe i will start with the greeting we got at the front desk at 10:00 p.m. at night after a 14-hour ride. The State of Florida is open for business according to the governor and it's edicts. And we were told to wear a mask and that this was required by the establishment. It was not required in any other establishment in St Augustine, although it was recommended if you were not vaccinated. We were told there was no lounge/bar there was no breakfast there was no hot tub. We were also told that we would be charged a $10 per day fee to park our car on the hotel lot that we were spending in some cases 200 plus dollars a night. So this was high dollar and very disappointing from the start. We initially picked this place for its location which is stellar in relation to attractions. We also picked it as it had a jacuzzi tub in the room. The Jets were not functioning at full strength I believe this was due to their age it looked like something from the early to mid 2000s. We used it once. The TV did not work and when we went to call the front desk the phone did not work we used our cell phone to have someone come up and fix the television which took approximately 20 minutes. Both of the sign entrances were closed two members who had hotel keys one entrance was open from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 and on one night all answers were locked and we had to have someone let us in the main door. This was the first leg of a three leg journey that we had scheduled and we've always used comfort inn, facilities and this was billed as an upscale comfort and facility with many amenities that were just not there. We are now in Dunedin Florida at a comfort suites and very happy with our room amenities and the attitudes of the people who work there.

For the price and for a hotel and not motel without those outdoor access doors this was the best pick! The location is amazing. Great little cafe next to it, a boutique and a Coffee shop across the street next to two wine bars! Go a few blocks up and you are at Ripleys. Then past that a few blocks is the fort and across the street is the old downtown restaurants and shops. We parked our car at the hotel and walked everywhere. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean. I would definitely return again!
