Fantastic location in the heart of the historic district. Loved being handed a glass of champagne at check in, such a nice touch. The rooms are old and we could tell in the shower where there was sad water pressure, and also the air conditioner was finicky. It didn’t work on auto, medium or high, but it did blow on low. Would stay again.

Hotel's Favourite
Casa Monica is our favorite hotel in Florida. We love the historic architecture and decor. The staff is always courteous and helpful. The amenities are first class. The hotel's location in the heart of the historic district makes it easy to walk to outstanding restaurants and museums. We will definitely be back again.

This is a place that I am giving a three star rating to what was a 5 star price. It was a special occasion...my husband's 80th birthday. Wanted a special place. Should have stayed at a Residence Inn. The location was great. The staff was friendly...but it ends there. The shower curtain was dirty upon arrival. (they did replace it). Our room was not cleaned one day...we left at 10:30 and were out until 3:30 The gym was dingy and small...with one treadmill for 136 rooms There was no microwave....there should have been for the price we paid. Shower pressure....felt like water trickling on my head No fan in bathroom....mirrors were steamy for 20 minutes afterwards. Staff did not replenish coffee or toiletry supplies consistently. Turn down service was inconsistency....and one night we were there and they ran out of chocolates. This place could have been so much better. The attention to details is non existent. The manager did provide compensation. But is was so much less than we expected. Residence Inn's and Town Suites have been better. We paid a lot of. money when we would have gotten better service and amenities at the Hampton Inn where my sister stayed since she didn't want to spend what we did....smart move.

I had high expectations with this being an autograph collection and an upgraded room. The location is great right near all the action and the museums. Everything is walkable and safe. Let’s start with the elevator…. It smells like black mold you can’t get away from it it is stifling. The rooms themselves you can tell have deodorizer in the old carpet that they’ve had for a while. This morning when I woke up to take a shower, the faucet on the shower was stripped so I could not get any hot water when I went to the phone to call the front desk. The phone didn’t work either. For my kids I had to take the ice bucket and fill it with hot water from the sink and fill the hole tub up. I just went without a shower. When I went to check out and I told the front desk and there was nothing done, I asked to talked to talk to a manager. It was not offered to me and there was no manager. He told me that someone would call me. No one has called me. I called and left a message on the voicemail for the manager and no one has called me back. On a positive note, the gym is updated with a peloton.

The hotel is in a perfect location within the city! Unfortunately, the staff needs some updated CS training - including the Front Office Manager. As a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite member - I felt slighted because I was using points for this stay - and it certainly was brought to my attention when we checked in. Also, our room was not ready, and was told when we arrived at 1:30 pm that the guests that were in that room had left and it was going to be prioritized. Unfortunately, it was not, and we were made to wait until 3:57 pm to be checked in (3 min before the guarantee of 4pm check-in) The rooms do need some attention and could be updated to reflect today's business traveler. The bar area is nice and warm. The staff also at the bar area was very attentive. It was also a positive having a Starbucks onsite.

Always a class act! We have stayed at Casa Monica for the last 9 years. The location is perfect. The historical charm is befitting of the city. But the customer service is the BEST! On our November visits we always look forward to the holiday decor, that also means the hotel is running at full tilt…but once again they didn’t disappoint. The front desk manage Lori Morita took great care of us. It’s the little attention to details that make this property a must visit.

I was a little concerned about staying at this hotel given the mixed reviews. I'm happy that we were overall pleased. The valet service were always prompt and welcoming. Note that you drop off at the rear of the hotel, but pick up at the front of the hotel. The front desk was nice at check-in. Our room was not ready upon arrival, and we had to wait until the 4:00 noted check-in time. Our room was good for our weekend stay. All was clean and ready for our arrival. They promptly brought us additional towels upon my request, and restocked each morning as needed. My girls used the hot tub one evening. The hot tub/pool area is small, but has plenty of chaise lounges. It was not being used much as the weather was not spectacular during our weekend stay. We did not eat at the restaurant. Overall, a good stay and I would return. Also to note, we used Marriott VCP for this stay.

Staff was friendly and helpful but the hotel was a great disappointment, especially considering the exorbitant room rates and excessive self promotion as a luxury brand. Rooms were small and cramped, furnishings were shabby and ill-fitting. Bathroom was nice. Lobby was small, always crowded and noisy. With few exceptions guests were dressed as if from homeless shelter. Thanksgiving Dinner was ordinary for cost. Seating was in separate room without any ambiance. Altogether not as advertised and priced. Will not return to this hotel or related properties.

Awful room, no hot water for 24 hours, dirty hallway floors outside our room, etc. etc! It was the worst stay as a Marriott Bonvoy member we've ever had! Hotel is simply old, terrible shower water pressure.

From the moment I contacted the hotel to make a reservation the staff was friendly and professional. They accomodated our service animal without limitations. Charlyne Biggs was the most gracious concierge you would want during your hotel stay. Very friendly and knowledgeable of the area for any/all recocomendations. She really knows her stuff!!! The accomodations were excellent. The restaurant was perfect for lunch and cocktails. The pool area was very nice, a great spot to relax
