I ended up staying in this lovely quaint hotel because sadly, I was supposed to be on a girls trip in a vacation home and ended up with a horrible case of the flu and needed a place to isolate instead of with my friends. This was the perfect spot. Microwave and fridge, beautiful 2 bed room with a gorgeous shower and very affordable considering I had to spend $ on top of $ I had spent to go on this trip. The bed was very comfortable for the 48 hours I was basically comatose. The staff was very accommodating. I would definitely stay here next time I visit St Augustine and hopefully get to see the city sites instead of a comfy pillow, extra blankets and an awesome bed.
We stay here every year a couple of times a year and have always enjoyed our stay. People are very friendly and rooms neat and clean. Within short drive to downtown Ancient City. We need downstairs room and they always accomidate us. Good breakfast also.
Rooms are nicely remodeled with hard surface flooring Furniture a little worn but okay, Breakfast is pretty good for a budget/mid range motel.. Parking just outside rooms is close and convenient especially on the first floor.
The location is good and there is a shuttle to the trolley which is good and an eight minute Uber ride to all the fun on Saint George Street. The place is definitely in need of renovation and there is absolutely a smell of humidity mustiness and cigarettes although it's a non-smoking facility, I am pretty sure people smoke right outside the door they have two chairs and ashtrays there which probably is a little too inviting. Breakfast was free but not great. Only the coffee was good (the sausage was horrible and the eggs were definitely powdered) It was our anniversary and I was trying to save some money and not stay right on the main street, don't think I'll do that again
Yes I enjoyed my stay it was lovely and peaceful and would stay there in the near future. Staff were very professional and respectful as well as helpful the Hotel was very organized and clean inside out. I had a great night's rest that I hadn't had in a long time.
Very huge rooms, wonderful staff, great hot breakfast! Good location. Nice pool. Beds are hard and the furniture needs replaced and a few minor things need worked on but over all our week stay was good minus the hurricane we had to go thru..lol.
Second time staying at the Flagler, room was clean and large. Bed wasn’t the most comfortable and pillows were small but served their purpose. Shower needs an update and the curtain did little to keep water inside the pan. Room doors were not sealed and the occasional mosquito got in the room. Overall good stay. The receptionist then I checked in was super nice but the other people I interacted with (mostly in the mornings) seemed bothered and were super unfriendly. Also, get rid of the 5 dollar Walmart posters in the rooms. We’re not staying in the woods 🤣
Nice clean room and bathroom and great price but had an unpleasant smell. Also, had a nice sitting area. Free breakfast, nice staff, free wifi. Hopefully, they will get the smell issue resolved. If so, five stars!
This motel is on a busy intersection. The noise never stops. I didn't mind the train since it didn't run often but the motorcycles and cars are to the point of forget about sleep. Motel is old all the way around. It smells old and looks old. I will say that the big room was clean but had no where to sit other than an old table and chair and the beds which were 2 feet off the ground. Will not recommend
This place is very much well kept. The staff was friendly, and courteous. The room was huge, and the house keepers did an outstanding job with the details of the towels and how the bed was made. Nothing short of impressive, my wife and I loved the one night we spent there.
