We spent a week in Site 100 during April, a waterfront site in the section that allows dogs. We had a wonderful time, it's a beautiful campground, and the whole park is meticulously maintained. There are a number of areas for enjoying the beach, cycling, walking, jogging, fishing, or picnicing. We had many marvelous encounters with both Manatees and Dolphins...

Great place to camp. We camped in #73. Which is one of the inside campsites (not water front). Very nice staff, nice bathroom/shower facilites, very impresive camp store, Beach is a couple miles way, easily bikeable, or a short car ride. My daughter and I swam out to the sandbar and found lots of cool shells and some sand dollars....

We spend 2 nights here and it was very nice! RV camping sites are located inside the park. Clean toilets and bathrooms. Very friendly staff. When you stay in the RV park you can visit the park for free.

There are not many campgrounds with sites as interesting, varied & individual as this. The bay & its lagoons are everywhere. Camp store is very modest but it rents firepits. Bring your own wood. The wind can be cold & uproot tents & chairs in Feb & March. Sites one or two rows in are just fine & less windy....

This campground is quite excellent and I doubt you could find a better campground in the area. You do need to plan in advance or you will be left wanting more. This campground is a mix of tent, camper, and RV sites. Part of the campground is pet friendly which is great for those who want pets, but fortunately they...

I have loved this campground for years. Nowadays we need electric hookup and this place has it. The spaces are spacious. The cleanup crew comes in after campers leave to prepare for the next ones. Just about like in a hotel! They even rake the Ground!

This is a nice large park with beautiful beaches and nice piers, one on the ocean and one on the bay. There are 7 miles of bike trails and an old fort. The campground has huge sites and even a common room for rainy days in our loop- our site was 64. Many sites are on the water, but not...

The park, sites, and grounds are beautiful. Palm trees, water, wildlife, and the volunteers keep it spotless. Our site was right by the playground...not a great choice but it was nice to see kids out enjoying the day. The issues...the county staff were not very nice, there were mix ups with our reservations and they do nothing to try and...

This is a wonderful park to go and spend the day. There are multiple beach areas for you to sun bathe, collect shells, or whatever water sport you choose. There are several picnic areas for your use also. You can also tour parts of the fort and you can take a ferry to Shell Island or Egmont Island. Plenty of choices...

Some of the campsites had incredible views of the water (ours didn't). Look on the map to make sure you get one of those. It will help make up for the fact that you can't have an open fire or alcohol.
