was an amazing staycation with my hubby and we celebrated our anniversary. People are approachable. Room was cleaned. Amazing beach view. I enjoyed the pool and the hot tub and just few people there swimming in the pool.
Another Great Stay at Sandestin Hilton! We were given a Diamond upgrade to a beautiful beachview room in the Tower. The housekeeping, front desk and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful to us. We enjoyed peel and eat shrimp in the Barefoot Beach Restaurant. Thanks for another memorable beach visit!
The hotel was awesome and our room was recently renovated. Loved having Starbucks in the hotel. Food options were very limited and very expensive. Pool and beach area were great. Conference spaces were nice as well.
We traveled here close to Christmas, hopeful for a beach getaway. While the weather didn’t provide for beachside days, this resort provided great fun! Our room had a bunk area for the kids, a living space with small eat in kitchen, and a large bedroom. The views from the bedroom and loving room were beautiful and gave us the indoor beach vibe even though it was too chilly to fully enjoy outside! They have great loungers outside that also provide wonderful views with close access to the bar/grill (which wasn’t open while we were there, but it’s easy to imagine the ambiance on a warm, sunny day. Being so close to Christmas, the hotel was beautifully decorated. The Monday of Christmas week, the staff set up a lineup of activities for each day leading to the holiday. It was so festive, the staff was incredibly friendly, and my kids enjoyed the activities they set up, and we all enjoyed the food and drink! We look forward to our next stay at this property!…
Sandestin Hilton is awesome. All staffs are wonderful with sweetest smiles. All our rooms has great views of the beach. Our second time here and definitely will not be our last. We’ll be back again and again.
Lovely property. Myself and my family will definitely be back. Staff is awesome,Maurice, Crystal,Dante and Audrey. F&B staff were great. Overall this property although going through some renovations is lovely.
When we checked in, we went to our room to find an abundance of Serv-Pro fans set up in the hall, drying the level from an apparent leak. The stale, mildew smell in the hallway pointed to a leak or pipe burst occurring multiple days prior to our arrival. Each room's door was open, and extension cords were running from each room to power the hall fans. Our particular assigned room was one of the rooms powering a bank of fans, so we couldn't even shut the door without disconnecting power from the much-needed fans. There were 3 fans running in our room - it appeared our room was very near the water source. I'm not upset a leak happened; the disappointing aspect is that the hotel staff would assign us a room in this location, knowing they were in the middle of a remediation attempt. Accidents are inevitable; I understand that. What sets a business, or in this case, a resort, apart from the rest is how you react and mitigate the impact. This resort's customer impact mitigation strategy appears as the mantra was, 'let's see if they can live with it.' When asked if we could have a different room, the response was, "I know there are a few fans running, but is it really that bad?" After some discussion, we were given a different room. Once settled into a different, but at least dry, room, the realization of the quality of the room and hotel set in. This is the Hilton Sandestin Resort! The name and reputation that comes with this resort is synonymous with luxury, comfort, and class. From my experience and stay, underwhelming was the theme of this so-called "resort." I have seen more updated and nicer finishes from the base-level Marriots I have stayed in. The final kicker that solidified this low rating was the $35 breakfast buffet. Do yourself a favor and book a $20/night motel and get the continental breakfast that comes with it - it's the same quality, and you'll save yourself a few bucks. The only reason I gave a 2-star review and not a 1-star is because the sushi restaurant in the lobby is exceptional, and Seagars is the best meal I've ever had. At least this resort can select quality vendors that house their real estate.…
We ended up in Destin last minute over Thanksgiving and we were scrambling to find a last minute hotel that was on the beach but had great pools and this was a wonderful find! Our kids had a blast- we enjoyed the ability to fully relax and order drinks and pizza from the bar, pop down to the beach, pop into the pool and hot tub. Lobby was pretty for Christmas and the staff and other guest were so kind. Will def be coming back! We also loved how close it was to the famed Seaside and 30A Rosemary and we enjoyed some fun evenings out there as well (25 min drive). A great last minute find 💙
