Our second visit was terribly disappointing at first, but the staff worked to make it right. When we checked in after midnight and saw our room, we thought a mistake had been made. Rather than the comfortable beach chic shown online, we ended up in 4101- a designer flop from years past that has never been redone. Rather than "cute...

I wasn't sure what to think of Song of the Sea when we first pulled in, but I must say, this lovely little place did nothing but exceed my expectations. It looks a little weathered from the outside, but our room was beautiful and clean. We loved just spending time at the beach under the complimentary umbrellas, and our lunch...

I agree with the traveler below. There were a lot more kids than we expected, but we never heard them in our rooms and they were well behaved at the pool. The view from the front suites is worth the money, but make sure you get a second floor. The place was SO clean. I walked around in my pink...

The staff are friendly, however this place was too overpriced for what you get. The rooms are dirty, the bed lumpy, and too many kids! Romantic-NOT. Better places to stay, like the condos at the other end of island.

After reading the reviews, we had expected a wonderful hotel. We were very disappointed. The room was dirty, including the screen, ledge, and floor of the room. The bed, advertised as luxurious, was nothing of the sort. The mattress was lumpy and saggy. The linens were of a low quality. Three bathroom was very tight, hardly enough space to turn...

Excellent value considering: on the beach, very comfortable room with screened in lanai; kitchenette; free loner bikes; very adequate continental breakfast; free use of beach chairs & beach umbrellas; & very friendly staff.

My wife and I stayed at the Song of the Sea for their seven day package. This was our third stay at the resort. We find the accomodations are very comfortable and are first rate. The breakfast is included and was one of the reasons we chose Song of the Sea. The staff are very friendly and make you feel...

Was very relaxing, and the front desk was very helpful and friendly. We were not expecting so many kids as the reviews had said this was more for adults, but we still enjoyed our stay. I wish the units had a broom so as to try to keep the sand out.

We were stalwart guests of Capitva's South Seas Plantation, until along came Charley and then Wilma; wiping out the place we loved to spend our anniversary. We were offered Song of the Sea, and we decided to never go back to South Seas. We've stayed 7 years in a row. It's our getaway place. No kids. No teens. No craziness....

This was our 4th time staying at Song of the Sea, so that says we like it there. We like the location on the island, the intimacy of the hotel (not a big establishment), the bikes which we use to get around because we don't always rent a car, the beach with the loungers and sun umbrellas. We stayed at...
