This was our second stay at Sanibel Inn - the first was 10 years ago. The Inn and the entire island offer the perfect mix of activity and relaxation. Ding Darling did not have nearly close to the bird population it had 10 years ago - most likely due to visiting during different seasons (and perhaps still due to hurricane...

We had a great holiday at the Sanibel Inn! The beach is outstanding and we spent most of our time on deck chairs under a shade umbrella. There was a constant breeze to cool you while searching for shells and the water was clear and warm. We had originally made a reservation for a beachfront suite, however when we arrived...

My family and I enjoyed our time on Sanibel Island at the Sanibel Inn. The gentleman at the desk was very helpful upon our arrival. The restaurant was a bit slow, but friendly. The room was clean and appeared to be recently remodeled, though still far from new...missing the little touches such as the tp holder not installed correctly in...

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. This was our first time on Sanibel and we hit a home run by picking Sanibel Island aswell as picking the right Hotel. Everything we would say is very positive and we had excellent weather which made it that much more enjoyable. We did not rent a car and we enjoyed biking...

The hotel staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. Started out right with the check in. The lady at the desk asked if this was our honeymoon and when I replied it was our 33rd wedding anniversary and that we had never had a honeymoon or vacation alone, she gave us a bottle of wine "on the house" and wished us...

The hotel is well maintained, landscaping is gorgeous and the staff is friendly and helpful. We have stayed at a number of places on Sanibel over the past couple of decades and Sanibel Inn rivals any of them in location, facilities, staff and service.

My husband and I stayed at the Sanibel Inn from April 24-28. We had a fantastic time and have nothing but positive things to say about this place!! Check-in went very smoothly. We arrived around 2pm and were greeted by Marion at the front desk, who was very friendly and helpful! Our room was ready at that time. We were...

Picked the Sanibel Inn based on reviews and pictures on the website, and so glad that we did, my husband and I loved every minute!! The price was perfect for the time that we went. The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything. Our room faced the beach and it was so nice to have a screened patio to...

There are some nice things about the Sanibel Inn, but there was a major drawback that really put a damper on our visit. Apparently there is a town ordinance that limits the number of beach chairs permitted on the beach to 48 (and 24 umbrellas). This is hardly adequate for a resort of this size. While they are not at...

We echo the pleasant reception by Shahana. The beach rooms are amazing. Just sit on the balcony to watch waves roll in. Walk a hundred yards to sit on the beach or walk down to the lighthouse for exercise. beach is wide and clean. Rooms are clean and adequate in size. Eat on site or try out some of the...
