My girlfriend and I were on the tail end of our journey around the coasts of Florida-from West Palm-down to the keys-on up the gulf side where we landed at Kona Kai/Sannibel (our last night). If only we had budgetted more time for Sannibel and...More
Our vacation at the Kona Kai has sadly just ended but we will cherish our memories for a long long time. We visited with our two teenagers and stayed in one of the accommodations called a suite. We had a bedroom with 2 queen beds,...More
This lovely motel is a welcoming respite on the Island of Sanibel. The Hawaiian tropical theme, lovely lush gardens, perfect pool & bbq area, and graciousness of the hosts Lynny & Brenda made my stay relaxing and memorable. The rooms are simple, clean, and welcoming....More

The Tiki Cottage is a stand-alone structure at the back of the property. It does not share walls with other rooms, but it's next to the gravel parking lot and the porch is just feet from your neighbors. Windows are set high in the walls, so the room has great privacy.
Room 5a has a pretty private porch and is on the end of a building, so shares just one wall with another room, I believe. Didn't see inside, but it looked appealing from the grounds.
