Room was nice, no complaints. Checking in was quick, easy and both woman at the front desk were friendly. Someone even called about a half hour after we checked in to make sure there was no problems with our room. The view by the pool and tiki bar
is amazing. Pool is perfect temperature and the tiki bar is very nice. The continental breakfast is great and Bruce and Miriam were very friendly.

Was late when we arrived. Candy, Sara and Alisha were so helpful. We had requested a first floor room when we reserved the room but the request did not show in the reservation at the hotel and these ladies worked until they found an available room in the first floor for us.
Only thing wrong in the room was the sink had. I water pressure and the toilet was hard to flush.
Just be prepared for
Housekeeping to knock at your door at 8am unless you put out the do not disturb.

My wife and I were on a road trip visiting several cities throughout Florida. We originally booked 2 nights but extended 1 more night. The unit was clean, bedding & towels changed every day, and it was convenient to other nearby cities & beaches we wanted to visit.

Daily breakfast was included and we were greeted each morning by Bruce & Miriam. Their role is to ensure you are registered guests, check your meal pass, and answer any questions you have about the dining area and offerings. Both were genuinely kind and hospitable!

We would stay there again.

The hotel is older and could use a refresh in some areas. They have made improvements to the room, no carpet & a big screen tv. We chose this hotel because it was reasonably priced for being on the water, but it’s misleading. Yes it’s on an inlet harbor, but you can’t touch the water or walk to a beach. Also it’s across from the airport so planes fly over at a low, noisy level every few minutes, morning to night. Room is clean, but fitted sheets are so worn out they won’t stay on bed. Ice machine barely works. If you’re not on the harbor side, you’re on a busy, loud street. The breakfast is ok, nothing great; they have a mean older man attendant who shoos you out at 10am, even on weekends. A few pluses - the front desk staff is responsive. Afternoon housekeeping is provided if you miss them in the morning. Location - it’s down the street from The Ringling complex. But, unfortunately, the surrounding area has seen better days and you’ll have to drive aways to get to a decent restaurant. There are probably a dozen hotels on the road, most of them the single story Mom & Pops where you park in front of your room. We are not fussy, high end people, but we would not stay here again.

Outside room was noisy due to traffic. Room outdated Cloth couch had an odor. Pipes exposed under sink . Lever on toilet was very loose . The switches on the light fixture by the bathroom sink would work sporadically . The grout in the bathroom needed some specialized cleaning that daily housekeeping would not be able to provide. Otherwise housekeeping was great!

This place is a DIVE.....DON'T stay here......the WIFI would not even work...it would connect then it would not bring anything up the arrow went round and round and round for minutes without ever bringing anything up...then I remembered I had PDA Plus on my phone and used that instead. Then we were charged an extra refundable fee at check in before we could check in...... not being prepared for that and not having a credit card, we had to see if we had an extra $75 in cash.....fortunately we found the cash between my wife and myself to pay the extra fee., it was refunded to us when we checked out but it caused a real headache at check in...this should have been made plain in big bold letters at the top upon reserving a room, but they like catching people off guard.....we won't stay here again when we frequently come on business. Also, the pictures are deceiving, the place is not as nice as the pictures look.

Our stay at Ramada was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we stepped in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, especially Bruce and Miriam. The rooms were impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with luxurious bedding that made for the most comfortable sleep. The hotel's location was ideal, within walking distance to all the major attractions, and the on-site restaurant served delicious meals with fresh, local ingredients.

The hotel staff upon check-in were very good. The second day of our stay the housekeeping staff knocked on the door and we told her we were leaving in a few minutes. I asked her to leave some more wash cloths for us. When we came back she didn't leave them and she took the one bar of soap and didn't leave another one. I had to go to the front desk and ask for soap and wash cloths. The rest of the stay the housekeeping staff left the right amount of soap and wash cloths & towels. Our room was on the side of the highway and you could hear the traffic. If I stayed here again I would pick a room facing the waterfront. The breakfast was ok. They had waffles but no fresh fruit or fruit toppings for them. They only had apples, pears and oranges but no bananas which also would have worked. For the price we paid, the hotel was good overall.

Unsure of where we were going to stay on our trip to the Sarasota area my wife zeroed in on this property for both its location and its price. Always the haggler she enlisted the help of GM Navid and came to very fair terms. Upon arrival we were handed off to Jen to handle all of our many inquiries and she effortlessly guided us through the process of our stay. These two individuals are to be commended for their professionalism and dedication. Let it also be noted that Jen was in training but handled herself like a seasoned professional.
